50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKSCan you believe that today is the last day of June? The fact that 2016 is now half way over, is just crazy. How did that happen??? It seems just like yesterday we were making resolutions and freezing our buns off. Now, summer is in full swing, and now our makeup is sliding off, it is sooooo hot. I am not complaining, I am one of those who would rather have the heat as the cold anY day.I did a month-end compilation last month, and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to do the same this month. I wonder if you would have picked the same outfits that I did. I am going to pick my top ten outfits, in no particular order, and tell you what I liked about each one. I have linked the orignial post to each outfit, just click on the link to see everything you need to know about the outfit.50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS1. FAVORITE SUMMER OUTFIT

I love pretty much everything about this outfit. I really like the fit, the material, and the color of the dress. I think one of the BIG reasons I liked this outfit, was the necklace from Plunder. I think this was my first purchase from Plunder, and one of the big reasons I signed up to sell it.

I have always loved a maxi dress, and this one is no exception. I love the colors, and even the little side slit. I think the berry cardigan adds a little something to the outfit, along with all the necklaces.50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS3. PICNIC PANTS AND TABLECLOTH TOP

Pink and White, what’s not to love? However, it is the pattern of both pieces that I really love. The lace and the gingham check are both what makes the outfit. Not to mention the fact that I “borrowed” my mom’s necklace. She just didn’t know it. Hahaha

You should know that navy and yellow are one of my favorite color combinations! Polka dots just call my name, I have a hard time passing them by. The jewelry in this photo is completely Plunder! I didn’t think I would like this necklace, but I ended up really liking it. I was afraid it was going to be too short, but instead it is perfect.50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS5. LINEN METALLIC TOP

This is what I like to consider “Resort” wear. It is an outfit I would pack to go on vacation. I like the metallic sheen, it adds a perfect accent to the top. Adding a pop of turquoise was something I liked.┬á50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS6. CHARACTER AND CLASS

Navy & white, enough said!!! Dennis Basso, enough said!!! Pop of hot pink, enough said!!!50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS7. TIE-DYE OVER 40

Another maxi dress made my top 10. I am not surprised, since I love a maxi. Joe has never been a huge fan of the maxi dress, he would rather see some leg. Lol! I really like the colors in this dress, I think it is the surprise addition of the hot pink! Instead of carrying my pink Dooney & Bourke, I elected to go with a cobalt blue purse instead.50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS8. DRESS TO PLEASE

Everything, I like everything about this dress! I like the color and the fit! I like the jewelry accessories! I like the pop of color of the tote! BUT, my very favorite part of this outfit, is the fact that Joe posed with me for pictures ???50 IS NOT OLD | JUNE LOOKS9. GOOD DEAL

What do you know, another black & white outfit! This time though, it has an added element of color. The tassel scarf really adds a nice aspect to the outfit. It looks casual and elegant at the same time.

Where these your favorites in June? Which one didn’t make your list? Which one did I leave out that you liked?

Love number 6 and 9′ but they are all great. We’re in our version of winter here in Queensland, so not too bad, but I’ll have head of ideas for Summer.
    Kee up the awesome work?

    • Tania Reply

I had to look back to see which one’s were 6 and 9. Lol! Those are two of my favorites also! I bet it is beautiful there?

  2. Oh My Tania!!!! I have several favorites. I really liked Character and Class. I also like Night Out For Dinner. However….I really like the vintage look and your #1 pick is beautiful too. June has definitely flown by. I always enjoy your posts and you do a phenomenal job putting your outfits together. Enjoy your day. ~Lisa~

Thanks Lisa! You are right, June has flown by way too quickly.

  3. You so encourage me to look nice, to take more time in the details, and it all makes me feel so much better about myself. Thank you!! I know the time and effort it takes to keep your blog up and I look forward to it every day. God bless you.

    • Tania Reply

It really is about the details. You can take a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans, and look spectacular if you add the right accessories! Thanks for following Suzi!

  4. Love ’em all!! But especially the green dress and one you haven’t featured, the outfit with the orange circle sweater and black pants from the start of the month.

Plunder is pretty awesome! It is way much prettier in person, than in the catalog. There is no minimum requirement to sell the jewelry. If you only buy for yourself and your friends, that is alright. My friend takes a selfie of herself daily, and then adds it to her facebook page. She sells a ton of jewelry by doing that.

  5. They’re all great. #6 Character and Class, you’ve got some swagger on! Personal fav.

  6. Susanne Braconnier Reply

I loved 2 and 6, especially the top in 6! I just started following you on social media and have already learned different ideas and how to wear certain items. Thank you for sharing!! ?

  7. Thank you for revisiting those outfits, it gives me inspiration!

  8. Love all of the outfits! Regarding plunder.. Do to my schedule I unable to commit to selling but can I sign up to get the deal?

    • Tania Reply

There is no minimum requirement to sell, so if you only want to buy for yourself and your friends, that is no problem. That is what I actually meant to do, where I put it on the blog, I mention the website. However, I do not try to sell to anyone here in town.

  9. I love each outfit, and recall liking #1 so much I searched and searched for the same dress! Thank you for compiling in one post!

    • This is the first time I have commented. I love your sight, very inspirational and you always look great! My favorites are 2 and 6, but of course they all look great!!

  10. Melesa Garrison Reply

These are all great, but 9 and 10 are my faves. I love the maxi’s too. I don’t remember you wearing the black and white in #9. I can’t believe I missed a day, It must have been on a Sunday. Thanks for sharing.

  11. I absolutely love your blog I am in the UK so can’t source the items but I can look for similar weather permitting ha ha you inspire me to make more effort!!!!

  12. I love #10. That scarf just makes the whole thing for me! You look great in all of them. Can’t wait for July!

  13. I love them all! I guess I would go with 10, 2, and 9 in that order. I really have a thing for black and white and you look great in them. Love that scarf too! Made me realize I need to dig out my summer scarves and start wearing them! Love your blog, you are my new favorite. I like that you show us how to work with what we have and don’t try to push us into buying more clothes that someone is giving you. My closet is already overflowing. You have a great positive attitude and love that you are a Christian woman čÖé

6,9 and 10 are my faves. So refreshing to see a realistic blogger posting creative ways to keep stylish as we age. You go girl.

  15. They all look great on you, but my personal davorites are #1, 4, 7, 9 and 10! They are suiyed to my own style, and I can easily see myself wearing them as well! Each of the outfits you chose here are cool, and fresh looking, and each one has touch of a little special “something” that pulls it together, making it unique! ? Thanks, and “Happy July!”

  16. #1 Love the dress, #3 the pink and white – so cute and #4. I too love navy and yellow. In fact just received a pair of mustard yellow Tieks for my birthday. I sure hope they live up to all of hype. I love your finds from the QVC outlet – do you know if they have an online outlet store?
Love your blog and your style sense. I have been telling all of my friends – who are mostly of a certain age as well.
    Keep up the great work!

They unfortunately don’t have an online store. I told them they needed to start one?

  17. Can I go shopping with you? Everything you put together is so pretty, young, and fresh!

    • Tania Reply

Head on down to Grundy, Alice. I’ll take you to all the “hot” spots. HAHA

  18. Just found your blog. Your look is fabulous and the first that I’ve seen that is stylish and realistic for someone near 50! Kudos to you!! Love, love the scarf in #10. Can you share where you got it?

    • Tania Reply

I bought that scarf from Cato’s last year. I am so glad you found my blog, and I hope you come back to visit often. ?

  19. I love your blog. You look wonderful in all your outfits. I have noticed that when you wear a shorter coat or jacket it makes you look taller.

I would love to hear from YOU!
