FRINGE, BOHEMIAN, AND BEACH WAVES

It is Saturday, and that is a day that most of the time means having fun and relaxing. However, because of the impending party my daughter decided to have, I am in “pulling my hair out” mode. I bet most of you know that feeling, the one where you think there is no way you can get everything done. I always go into this mode, worrying and stressing over the details. Did I remember everything, or is something going to go wrong? Truth is, it always gets done, and no one but me knows if something is not the way I would have wanted.Besides, it is not even MY party. If I didn’t live here, you can bet that I wouldn’t be invited. Lol! It will be all out fun once all the girls get here. There was a group of about 10-15 that have hung out with each other all through school. Most of them have all gone their separate ways, with only one or two still living here in town. Hopefully several of them are close by and will be able to attend the party, I know if will be fun galore. I can remember coming home one day to find about eight of them piled up asleep in my bed. Yes, really eight! They were every which way, some this way and others another way. I wish I had taken a picture, but that was the days before everyone had a cell phone with a camera.

Before I start talking about today’s outfit, I want to go back to yesterday’s post. I must have been rushed, because I forgot to talk about the most important part of the post, the dress. The label on the dress says Alyx, and even though it is not very old, I can’t remember where it was purchased. Here is several similar ones. They are the Bobby, Halsey, Frances, Liza, Monica, Odette, and the Skye. I only have one more that I need, and they were sold out or I would have it too. I wore these shorts because this was the day that I was driving to the woman’s club conference. I picked these because they are stretchy. I will always pick something that is stretchy or elastic waisted when I am traveling. I like to be comfortable, and I don’t like to be cut into at the waist. I would tell you the brand of the shorts, but I can’t find them. I looked in the laundry room, I looked in the dirty clothes, I looked in the closet, and I looked in the dresser. Nope, can’t find them. They will eventually show up, until then I will just link some that are similar. Lol!

Fringe Sandals: Limited supply | Similar | SimilarThe last item of the outfit, is my Michael Kors satchel. I bought this a couple years ago at TJ Maxx, and I have carried it almost non stop. I love the color, and the material. This purse works well in the fall, as well as in the summer. When you buy a purse that is more expensive, it is nice to be able to carry it enough that you feel like you got your monies worth.

Well, I am off. It is time to don the swimsuit, and grab the sunscreen. Who am I kidding, it is time to start patting out the hamburger patties, and fire up the grill. Besides, who wants to put on a swimsuit around a bunch of twenty something years olds. Ugggg!
