What to wear on Easter Sunday at church is a question I’ve been getting lately. Since Easter is only a few weeks away, I am already thinking about what I will wear on Easter Sunday for our church service too. Growing up, I always got a pretty new dress for Easter, and that tradition has stuck with me. I always choose a dress I can get a lot of wear out of throughout the remainder of the spring and summer.

While I scrolled through Amazon looking at Easter dress options for myself, I found so many beautiful options to share with you! I am sharing a wide variety of dresses and sleeve lengths because I know the weather in late March can be unpredictable. Over the years, I’ve learned to always have a cardigan or jacket on hand just in case the weather on Easter Sunday decides to be freezing! I also made sure to include some plus-sized options below.

Check out these recent posts for even more Easter Sunday dress options!:

Dresses to Wear to Easter Sunday at Church from Amazon

#1 Boho Square Neck Dress

This floral smocked dress has a tie around the waist, fit and flare silhouette, and long loose sleeves. It comes in several different beautiful floral patterns, as well as some solid colors! I think I would style it with a pair of espadrille wedges and a beige or white handbag.

#2. Maxi Wrap Dress

Sometimes the weather on Easter can still be a little cool in some areas of the country. This maxi dress provides enough coverage to keep you warm, but it’s flowy and lightweight, so you won’t overheat while sitting in church! This dress comes in several other beautiful prints, so choosing just one to show here was hard.

#3. Short Sleeve Belted Mini Dress

This sweet little mini dress looks very chic and put together. Fit and flare silhouettes are so flattering! The skirt part of the dress comes in several different prints, even a leopard print, but I thought this white and black floral print was so classy and chic.

#4. Lace Knee Length Dress

This knee-length lace dress is absolutely gorgeous! I posted about this navy version when I tried on elegant dress options for Wedding Guests Over 50. It was so flattering yet appropriate without being matronly at all! I paired it with this floral clutch, which will match almost any shade of dress available.

#5. Short Sleeve V Neck Dress

You can’t go wrong with a classic and timeless fit like this knee-length dress. Dress it up with your favorite dressy sandals and handbag. This dress comes in over 30 prints and colors, so you can find the shade that looks best with your skin tone.

#6. 3/4 Sleeve Shift Dress

If you aren’t a fan of fit and flare style dresses, you should try a shift dress! This style of dress falls straight down your body if sized correctly, which makes it great for hiding any problem areas you don’t want to draw attention to on your figure. I love the lace accents at the hem and on the sleeves.

#7. Boho Floral High Low Dress

What an adorable dress for spring and summer! The high-low hem is so cute, as are the ruffles on the sleeves. A nude braided heel would look great paired with this dress! You could even add one of my favorite woven belts around the waist, but I like it as it is.

#8. Floral Wrap Maxi Dress

The flowy floral wrap maxi dress is gorgeous! This style and print are elegant and classy and will be perfect for Easter Sunday. The print is one that will work for fall also, and there are lots of print options to choose from.

#9. Halter Maxi Dress

This happy green color is perfect for spring. If you prefer a more modest look, add a white cardigan. I think this would also be a great dress to wear as a guest to a wedding or to take with you on vacation! The halter top is very elegant. It’s normally around $50 dollars, but it goes on sale a lot.

Plus-Sized Easter Dresses from Amazon

#10. Plus Size V Neck Wrap Maxi Dress

Wrap dresses are so flattering because they accentuate the narrowest part of your torso. This one is available in 30 colors and prints and comes in sizes X-5X. Pair it with a nude or white sandal like this flat banded sandal, or dress it up with your favorite heel.

#11. Knee Length Ruffle Dress

This knee-length dress would look adorable paired under a denim jacket with a great pair of wedges! It goes to a size 26 and is very affordable at only $36. This would be great for almost any occasion. You can dress it up or pair it with sneakers.

#12. Short Sleeve Floral Maxi

I absolutely love the print on this stunning blue and white dress! Reviews say it is longer than the photos, so be aware it is more of a true maxi length. It is available in sizes large to 4x. I think v-necks are very flattering, and I love the flirty sleeves.

A Few More Choices

Isn’t this gorgeous? The pale blue is perfect for spring, but it comes in several different colors. I love the sheer hem and sleeves and the gathered bodice. It’s very feminine! This would be a perfect dress to wear to a wedding. The floral handbag is no longer available.

Where are my apple-shaped gurls? I love the v-neck and the bodice. It’s sort of an empire waist which emphasizes the bust – never a bad thing! The wide sleeves are very pretty, and this baby is machine-washable! This mint green is very on trend right now but it’s available in 17 others.

I’ve bought a lot of dresses from PrettyGarden! They are always very reasonably priced. This is right at $50 dollars and comes in a ton of other colors in addition to this lilac version. It has a tie closure and a v-neck. If you’re worried about it being too low, pair it with a pretty camisole or bralette.

What about it, Gurls? Do you dress up for Easter? I’d love to hear about your traditions.

  1. Thanks for providing a great list of dresses!

  2. I have often paid for others, but recently we were in a fast food restaurant and I was ordering our food after assisting my husband to a table. A gentleman was waiting for his order and turned and handed the associate some money for my order and asked that the change would be given to me. A true double blessing.
Now about a dress for Easter. Still shopping but I love wearing dresses especially to church.
    Blessings

    1. That was a wonderful act of kindness.

Looks like we will be needing our winter coats for Easter Sunday, indoor egg hunts too.

  4. Hi Tania, I rarely where a dress, but these are so pretty. I’m looking forward to
a new dress this Spring. Thanks Joanne

my family tradition is to dress up for Easter mass. love all the dresses shown. I gravitate towards loose fitting, flowy dresses that will camouflage my midsection and some of the ones shown are perfect.

  6. I have a hard time sending you a reply. I type it and submit it but then it never shows up. I love the flower card what a great idea! I’m looking for a dress with sleeves

    1. Rhonda, all comments go to moderation, so they take a while to be approved. They eventually show up. Lol!

  7. Some are really pretty and you showed all body types. That helps too.

You shared some really pretty dresses with us. Thank you!

  9. Cathy Baird says:

I love dresses. #12 is my favorite. I need dresses with not much of a waist. I’m really thick through that area so it’s hard to find one that’s flattering, and doesn’t make me look huge.

  10. I love those paper bouquets. I’d sent my sister one for her birthday and it was so cute. Made more of an impression than a card but fit better in the budget than real flowers!

It’s been a while since I bought a dress for Easter but these are so cute. It’s high time to celebrate with one of these!

  11. I love when you model the Amazon dresses. Online, most of the pictures are photo shopped over the model, even Macy’s site does it sometimes. You can really sell a dress! They look so nice on you and I’m always drawn to the ones you model. I did like the boho green dress. It could be cut off under the bottom ruffle to make it a more flattering length for me. Since it would end with the ruffle, it might not even need any sewing–just a chop, chop!

    Beautiful options!

  13. Hi, I have a hard time sending you a reply. Thank you so much for posting the Freshcut Paper Pop Up Cards. I have a hard time sending to my bio-Mom every year, who lives quite a distance from me. The typical things for a mother don’t work. She doesn’t eat carbs so candy it out. Fresh flowers are out since she lives in a warm climate with plenty of flowers, but this card looks like so much fun! Hugs! Karen

    1. That would be a great idea for her. It is something she could reuse for years.

  14. I love several of these and see two to choose between for Easter! THANK YOU!!

  15. Jan Rayner says:

Love the dresses, but those of us who are petite (short arms, legs, and torsos) could use some of your great suggestions.
Thanks, and blessings to you and your family.

  16. Lori Gorenflo says:

Lots of great choices for Easter dresses. Thanks for sharing with us.

  17. The flower bouquet is so cute. I used to wear a dress on Easter when I was younger. Now I wear pants with a nice jacket and top.

  18. Just became one of your gurls!!
You look lovely in all the dresses
Keep up the great positive advice

    1. Welcome!!! I hope you’re enjoying the blog!

You can never have enough dress choices

  20. Roeli Lutz (Canadian) says:

Love the dresses, I like the sleeves at elbow length or longer.
My arms need ironing, so I keep them covered…lol

I have a beautiful spring coat (hot pink) people say I look like
Queen Elizabeth without the matching hat…lol

God Bless, Prayed for your brother and Joe.
Happy to see all is well.

  21. Ohh… what beautiful dresses!

  22. I absolutely adore all the spring dresses you posted today! I’d be hard-pressed to choose a favorite but the Amegoya one may be calling my name. 🙂

  23. Jenniffer Groski says:

I love all the different styles! I love Easter because it’s a celebration of our risen Lord!!

  24. So many pretty choices and such great prices! I’m sure it will still be cold here in Ohio so I’ll pick something with long sleeves.

  25. So many pretty dresses! Easter will be here before we know it❤❤❤

  26. Tania,
I enjoy reading your posts everyday. I love seeing all your ideas on fashion. But I was wondering if you could give some fashion ideas that also come in petite sizes. Some of your dessses and pants are especially beautiful but wouldn’t work for a petite frame. If possible that would be great.

  27. Your flowers are beautiful! I am also thinking about Easter outfits, late March is all over the temp here, sort of like February has been 20’s or 70 degrees, depending on time of day. May have to combine your 2 articles today, wear a dress, and a fur coat as cover up. Have a blessed week.

  28. Love these dresses. The blue and white print was very pretty. Thanks for the post, Tania- really enjoyed it.

  29. Thanks for all the pretty options. I love wearing dresses.

  30. Roberta Schwandner says:

  32. Beautiful dresses. Love the hydrangea card-such a neat idea.

  33. So many wonderful and flattering choices, all sweet and feminine, too. 🩷 I was hooked with the very first one. 🌸😂

  34. I look forward to your blog post email every morning.

  35. Delanie Collings says:

These Easter dresses are so cute. I love the light blue tiered puff sleeve one, but I’m short and just steps away from *gasp* 70, so I’m afraid that one will make me look about 12….I’d love to look younger, just not THAT much younger! 😂😂 I think I saw a similar one in the pictures below the featured looks. I’ll check that one out. I can’t believe it’s almost time for Easter and “Spring Back” time. My brain hasn’t quite gotten out of January yet. 🤦‍♀️

  36. Thank you! I love the navy lace dress and the boho square neck dress.

  37. Loving all the midi dresses, especially the Prettygarden dress and the puff sleeve one.
I love a feminine dress and all these dresses fit the bill.
The hydrangea card is beautiful- can you share the brand? I have a friend who loves hydrangeas and she would love this.

    1. I put the link in the email. Click on the words that are bold and a different color…that’s the link.

      1. Hello Tania,
I am new to your Blog, even though I’ve been following you for some time at pinterest.
I like the floral Dress you’re modeling the best.
I am also loving the Card. I will send one myself now to my Girlfriend who just sent me a Care Package – again coming back from a visit in Germany.

I am really enjoying your Blog!

        1. That would be a nice gesture for your friend.

  38. Wow I can’t believe those are paper flowers. When I opened the email this morning I thought you were going to tell us you purchased this while Easter decor shopping while hubby was in PT the other day. It is beautiful!

  39. I like & need the plus size one pretty
