WHAT DID YOUR JUNE LOOK LIKE
Can you believe that today is the last day of June? The fact that 2016 is now half way over, is just crazy. How did that happen??? It seems just like yesterday we were making resolutions and freezing our buns off. Now, summer is in full swing, and now our makeup is sliding off, it is sooooo hot. I am not complaining, I am one of those who would rather have the heat as the cold anY day.I did a month-end compilation last month, and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to do the same this month. I wonder if you would have picked the same outfits that I did. I am going to pick my top ten outfits, in no particular order, and tell you what I liked about each one. I have linked the orignial post to each outfit, just click on the link to see everything you need to know about the outfit.
1. FAVORITE SUMMER OUTFIT
I love pretty much everything about this outfit. I really like the fit, the material, and the color of the dress. I think one of the BIG reasons I liked this outfit, was the necklace from Plunder. I think this was my first purchase from Plunder, and one of the big reasons I signed up to sell it.
2. ENOUGH BEAUTY SLEEP
I have always loved a maxi dress, and this one is no exception. I love the colors, and even the little side slit. I think the berry cardigan adds a little something to the outfit, along with all the necklaces.3. PICNIC PANTS AND TABLECLOTH TOP
Pink and White, what’s not to love? However, it is the pattern of both pieces that I really love. The lace and the gingham check are both what makes the outfit. Not to mention the fact that I “borrowed” my mom’s necklace. She just didn’t know it. Hahaha
You should know that navy and yellow are one of my favorite color combinations! Polka dots just call my name, I have a hard time passing them by. The jewelry in this photo is completely Plunder! I didn’t think I would like this necklace, but I ended up really liking it. I was afraid it was going to be too short, but instead it is perfect.5. LINEN METALLIC TOP
This is what I like to consider “Resort” wear. It is an outfit I would pack to go on vacation. I like the metallic sheen, it adds a perfect accent to the top. Adding a pop of turquoise was something I liked. 6. CHARACTER AND CLASS
Navy & white, enough said!!! Dennis Basso, enough said!!! Pop of hot pink, enough said!!!7. TIE-DYE OVER 40
Another maxi dress made my top 10. I am not surprised, since I love a maxi. Joe has never been a huge fan of the maxi dress, he would rather see some leg. Lol! I really like the colors in this dress, I think it is the surprise addition of the hot pink! Instead of carrying my pink Dooney & Bourke, I elected to go with a cobalt blue purse instead.8. DRESS TO PLEASE
Everything, I like everything about this dress! I like the color and the fit! I like the jewelry accessories! I like the pop of color of the tote! BUT, my very favorite part of this outfit, is the fact that Joe posed with me for pictures ???9. GOOD DEAL
Black & White, simple and elegant! I love black & white, and I love the Plunder jewelry in this picture. It was even nicer in person, it sparkled sooooo much. Be sure to look at this post to sign-up for the June special deal. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY!!! You can start your own business for 119.00!! What do you know, another black & white outfit! This time though, it has an added element of color. The tassel scarf really adds a nice aspect to the outfit. It looks casual and elegant at the same time.
Where these your favorites in June? Which one didn’t make your list? Which one did I leave out that you liked?
I love your blog. You look wonderful in all your outfits. I have noticed that when you wear a shorter coat or jacket it makes you look taller.
Just found your blog. Your look is fabulous and the first that I’ve seen that is stylish and realistic for someone near 50! Kudos to you!! Love, love the scarf in #10. Can you share where you got it?
I bought that scarf from Cato’s last year. I am so glad you found my blog, and I hope you come back to visit often. ?
Can I go shopping with you? Everything you put together is so pretty, young, and fresh!
Head on down to Grundy, Alice. I’ll take you to all the “hot” spots. HAHA
#1 Love the dress, #3 the pink and white – so cute and #4. I too love navy and yellow. In fact just received a pair of mustard yellow Tieks for my birthday. I sure hope they live up to all of hype. I love your finds from the QVC outlet – do you know if they have an online outlet store?
Love your blog and your style sense. I have been telling all of my friends – who are mostly of a certain age as well.
Keep up the great work!
They unfortunately don’t have an online store. I told them they needed to start one?
They all look great on you, but my personal davorites are #1, 4, 7, 9 and 10! They are suiyed to my own style, and I can easily see myself wearing them as well! Each of the outfits you chose here are cool, and fresh looking, and each one has touch of a little special “something” that pulls it together, making it unique! ? Thanks, and “Happy July!”
6,9 and 10 are my faves. So refreshing to see a realistic blogger posting creative ways to keep stylish as we age. You go girl.
