Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a pink shirt that says, Staying in is the new going out.I could have titled this blog post, “If you can’t beat them, you might as well join them.” Lol! Last week I showed you loungewear (here) and today my post is all about “staying in” and being comfortable while you there. I’ve had so many of you saying that you’re staying in your PJ’s all-day-long, so I thought that I might as well show you some adorable ones for you to wear. So, sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and don’t expect any skimpy lingerie. LOL!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a floral button up pajama setLet’s get started with this short floral set. I love this 2-piece matching set! It is so buttery soft, which is something that I look for when it comes to pajamas. It is something that you will be wearing for around 8 hours, so I want it to be as comfortable as possible. This material is 95% Modal and 5% Spandex, and if you are like me, you are wondering what the heck modal is. It is a super soft fabric made from Beechwood trees, and it is used primarily in underwear and pajamas.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a short floral button up pajama setI will say that it feels great, and it is soft and stretchy. I am not large chested, but I always worry about button-up shirts for sleeping in. This shirt is plenty roomy even though I am wearing a size medium. The pull-on shorts have an elastic waist, but they do not have any pockets. Pockets in my PJ’s is not a make or break detail for me because I usually throw on a robe (with pockets) once I wake up. This is from Target, and here is the link to this set.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a navy button up pajama setHere is another 2-piece short set. This set if from J.Crew Factory, and it is a deep navy color. I love the white piping of this set; it gives it a classic, timeless style. This is a cotton knit material, and it is a nice quality. The material is soft and stretchy, but it is entirely different from the previous PJ. It is thicker and not as drapey and flowy.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a short navy button up pajama setAs you can see, the piping is also on the shorts. I am wearing a size large in this set, but the shorts are too big for me. I ordered a large since I wasn’t sure about the sizing, and I would rather something to be too big on me as too small. The top fits fine, but this will have to go back because of the shorts. I would say the set runs true to size (I usually wear a medium), and here is the link to the set.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a Life Is Good pajama setI prefer sleeping in shorts, but some might like pants, so here is an adorable outfit that I plan on wearing this summer in other ways. This top says it all!!! Kind People Are My Kind Of People! I love a shirt that spreads a great message, and this set from Life Is Good does just that. The top is a t-shirt material, so it is soft and comfy. I ordered a size medium in this set, and I was thrilled that it fit me perfectly.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a navy and striped pants pajama setThe pants have pockets!!! Woohoo, that makes me a happy camper! These pants are super soft and comfy, and the color is perfect for this summer. I will wear this top with white shorts and white and regular jeans. And, I’ll wear these pants this summer with a white, pink, or navy t-shirt for a cute summery look. I love it when my clothing can serve a dual purpose. I probably won’t sleep in this outfit, but I will treat it like a loungewear set. This came from QVC, and here is the link.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a lilac gingham pajama setBefore you even start reading this, I am going to let you know that these are almost all sold out. The only size left in these is XXSmall. If I hadn’t already uploaded the video to YouTube, I would have probably deleted the photos because I hate showing you items that you can’t purchase.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a gingham button up pajama setAnyway, for those tiny, tiny ladies who would love this cotton PJ set, I am wearing a size large in these, and they are too big. But, this set does have a drawstring waist, so I was able to make them fit better. The material in this set is more like a Poplin cotton similar to what you would find in a button-up shirt. I prefer the softer knits for my PJ’s, but everyone is different. Here is the link for those of you small enough to wear it.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a no worries pajama set with striped shorts with Peanuts charactersThese PJ’s are adorable!!! I am not even a Peanuts fan, but I had to have these PJ’s for the top. So many of us have experienced sleepless nights and anxiety over this virus, and I thought that the “No Worries” reminder might be helpful. I had to Google what the name of Snoopy’s bird friend was, and in case you are curious, it is Woodstock.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a no worries pajama set with striped shorts I’ll be wearing this shirt many times in the next few months, but I’ll live in these incredibly soft striped shorts. It is the softest, plushest cotton that you can imagine. It is unreal how soft and cozy these shorts are. You need to watch my video to hear me gush over these shorts. I am wearing a size medium, and it fits me perfectly. Here is the link to this set.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a pale pink pajama set with long pants and sleevesHere is another pant PJ set for those who prefer pants. This is the same modal material as the short set above, so it is soft and drapey. It is very cozy and comfortable, which is what you should be looking for when it comes to sleepwear. This set is also long-sleeved, so any of you who freeze all of the time, this would be an excellent set for you. The material is not heavy so that it won’t be too hot this summer, but it will be enough to knock the chill off of you.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a pink pajama set with long pants and sleevesThis pale pink color washes me out, and I would have liked the navy or black color better. But, I already had a navy and black set to show you, so I thought that I would show you this color instead. I am wearing a medium in this set, and it fits perfectly. This set is from Target, and here is the link.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a black pajama set with white pipingI told you that I had a black set to show you. This short set also has the white piping that I like, and it is that wonderful modal material that is so soft and comfy. I really like this set, it is a classic PJ style, and it is cute to wear around the house all day long.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a short black pajama set with white pipingThese shorts don’t have the piping down the sides, but I hardly think that is a deal-breaker. This set also comes in navy and pale pink, plus it comes in light gray also. There are several versions of this set, so I’ll add the photos below for you. Here is the link to this set that I am wearing.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a short pink pajama set with lips and lashesWhat could be more appropriate than this shirt? It is so cute, and it is fabulous for what is going on all around us right now. I think that this 2-piece set might have been a Valentine’s set, but I thought it was too cute, so I grabbed it for all of you. The material is soft and cozy, perfect for wearing around the house or sleeping in.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a short pink pajama set with a heart pocket on the buttLook at these cute shorts! I liked them enough when I saw the lips and eyes, but I loved them once I saw the heart pocket on the butt.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a staying in is the new going out pink shirtI am wearing a size large in this set, and it is a tiny bit too big for me. It is fine for sleeping in, but if I were going to wear this top out somewhere, then I would have wanted a smaller size. Of course, I can tie a knot at the hemline to make the top fit better, so it will work. This set also comes in a couple of other prints, and here is the link to all of them.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a floral robe

This last set is for all of you fancy ladies! I remember going on a woman’s club trip once, and I had to room with two other women. Me and one of the ladies had on comfortable sets like the ones above, but the other lady came out wearing a fancy, fancy negligee outfit that was something straight out the 1950s. You know, the kind that had the boas? It was gorgeous, and it sure made my shorts and t-shirt look frumpy. Lol!

This watercolor floral robe is 100% Lyocell. Once again, I had to go to Google to find out that it is a Rayon material, which I thought was Satin. ? This outfit is sure to impress the UPS driver, and you might find yourself getting packages that aren’t even addressed to you. Hahaha! I am wearing a medium/large in this robe, and here is the link.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a floral robe with matching pants and a camisole These satin pants are fabulous. I love the wide-leg style and how they have the contrasting trim at the hem. I was thrilled that these pants were long enough because I hate pants that are too short on me. AND, did you notice that these pants have pockets?!? The inseam is 31 inches, so it is the perfect length. I am wearing a size medium, and I think they fit me great. Here is the link to the pants.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a floral pants and a camisole The coral camisole (looks peach to me) just matches the trim on the pants. It has adjustable straps, and it is Satin like I thought the other things were. I was afraid that it would be too small for me since I ordered a medium, but as you can see, it is plenty roomy. There are a lot of mix and match items in this line, so be sure to take some time and surf through all of them. Here is the link to the camisole.

My daughter Paige was so excited to hear that she won the body replenish! I told her last nigh after she came off of a twelve hour shift! I look forward to hearing from you so I can give her your gift. Thank you

  2. My favorite jammies are the Hue brand and I get them from Amazon. They are incredibly soft baby fleece and the bottoms are a print. I have penguins, flowers, moose, and a bunch more. The tops are like a tee with either a fake Henley or a rounded neck. Not chokey like a crew but not scoopy either. They are a solid from the bottoms and some have piping trim. Here’s an example

  3. The jammies all look great. You look like you are on a vacation in Hawaii with the tropical set:) Oh to be on vacation…I can only dream. lol I hope you are having a great week:)

    1. I had two trips that were planned in April. But, it wasn’t meant to be.

“Staying In is the New Going Out” ordered and will be here next Friday! Can’t wait! I usually wear capri pj’s but I ordered for the tee shirt, which I will be wearing a LOT! Thanks, Tanya!

    1. I thought that shirt was adorable!!!

    1. Those Peanut ones are super cute, and extremely soft.

  5. I’m ashamed to admit but I throw pjs together from anything. I buy sets but the pants always lose their elastic power in the waist. So, I start looking for a tee or big shirt to replace and before you know it. I have this ugly collection of pjs. It just be time to buy a new set. I finally found out why the elastic was stretching out. I was drying them in the dryer. That ruins anything with elastic. Maybe there’s hope for me after all. Have a great day, dear heart!

    1. Good to know about the elastic. I hadn’t heard that before.

  6. so cute! I ordered 2 sets of the peanuts and the stay at home for me and my 17 year old daughter who is not liking the Stay at Home…maybe these will cheer her up 🙂

    1. Those will cheer her up. They are cute and super soft.

  7. Love the cute pj’s. I think I would be tempted to stay in them all day! I need some short summer ones, so thanks for the fashion show!! It helps so much to have honest opinion from real women!! Gotta go shopping!!

    1. Haha! No staying in them all day. Lol!

  8. Snoopy PJs already in the cart! thanks Tania.

    1. You will have to let me know what you think about those shorts. They are soooooo incredibly soft.

  9. I love all the pajama sets. Just curious if you’ve already self tanned? You look great. What is your favorite one to use?

      1. All the pjs are super cute! There are no Capri length pants, those are the kind I am always looking for, especially when the weather warms up. I feel as if my bottom is exposed when I sleep in shorts, even under covers! LOL. Thanks for the pj fashion show, how fun is that?

        1. I ordered a couple of capri style pants, but one sold out before I could get it, and a different one is held up in shipping.

  10. Janet Williams says:

Cute, cute, cute! I’d wear all of them! Just not all day.

    1. I don’t stay in PJs all day either, but some of them might tempt me. Lol!

  11. Those short pajama sets are so cute but I CANNOT wear anything with a collar! After it’s washed a time or two, the collar flops around and, as I’m a stomach sleeper, it’s constantly up around my neck. That just drives me nuts! So, I’ll have to stick with the t-shirt sets!

    1. That is funny, Rhonda. Collared sets are some of my favorites, probably because of the deep v-neck.
