50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestHere we go with the stepping into spring, puffer vest for outfit #3. You might have gotten a preview of this outfit if you saw this post. Outfits should be easy, you shouldn’t have to agonize over how to put them together. I like to dress in my rule of three – a top, a bottom, and a topper. I am always cold, so even in the summer I wear a lot of 3/4 sleeve length cardigans. There are always times when this rule does not apply, like with a dress, but it makes putting together an outfit easy.50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestThere is always a star of the show, when it comes to dressing. It can be a scarf, a purse, a necklace, a pair of shoes, or a cardigan. In this show, the star is the lightweight puffer vest. This vest is super cute, the design and the pop of color, really makes it stand out. The fact that it is lightweight makes it perfect for spring. This vest is by Crown & Ivy, and I bought it this past fall on a trip to Tennessee. Here is how I styled it in Tennessee. But, it is no longer on their site, so I found you a couple similar vests. Similar, similar, and similar.50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestA long sleeve button-up shirt is very practical for spring. If it is cool, just keep the sleeves long, and roll them up if it gets warm. I know you are so happy I passed on that little bit of information. I am sure you would have never thought to roll up the sleeves if you were hot. Hahaha  That’s why you read my blog. Lol! I bought several button-up shirts at Van Heusen years ago, and this is one of them. The material is no-iron, so that is a big plus in my eyes. Here, and here are similar ones.50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestI decided to wear pearl jewelry to bring out the white in the vest. I have on two pearl bracelets, and a new necklace that I got from Chloe & Isabel when I signed up to be a merchandiser. Bertha liked it so much, she ordered one too.50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestThese jeans are old and are from Maurice’s. I don’t really like these jeans, I think it is the color. I have gotten so used to skinny jeans, I feel almost out of place with a boot cut. Here is a pair by Kut from the Kloth, which I like better because of the color, here is a pair by Seven7 jeans, and here is a plus size pair by Levi’s. 50 Is Not Old | Stepping Into Spring, Puffer VestThe loafer’s are by Tommy Hilfiger, and I have had them for years. Here is a similar pair. And I finished off the outfit with my Stella & Dot snake-skin “the switch” purse. It is only available on Ebay, so if this link has already sold, you can search by the name for another one.

I tried to comment yesterday about Melatonin, but for some reason my post bombed : ( Anyway it is helpful and doesn’t make you feel weird if that is any consolation.
    Have a wonderful day!
