IT IS TIME FOR AFTER CHRISTMAS FUN TO BEGIN

Have you recovered from all of the festivities yet? I spent yesterday in my pajamas doing absolutely nothing. It was glorious!!! My daughter proclaimed it boring, but what does she know? Lol! We watched a couple of movies on television, and since I never turn the tv on, it was a guilty pleasure for me. I told her that the only thing that would have made the day perfect would have been a roaring fire and snow. But, it was in the high 50’s, so neither of those things happened. She told me to go ahead and start a fire, and she would buy me a Blizzard. However, since it was Christmas, the Dairy Queen was closed, so no Blizzard for me. Haha! It was around 5:00 last night when I remembered that all of the after Christmas sales would start today. I felt like I was in the poem “The Night Before Christmas” when I “sprang from my chair” to begin my quest. Some people I know don’t exchange presents on Christmas, and instead, they wait for the steep discounts that come after Christmas so that their money can buy more gifts. Other than sizes being limited, it is a pretty smart idea. I am taking advantage of the sales to search for a new Christmas tree for next year since my family is having a mutiny on the one that I have left up for three years.

I love all stores, and I can usually find something in every store that I enter. But, there are a few stores that are my favorites because I know the quality, and I know how the clothing fits me.
