But along the way, I’ve picked up some tricks for finding pieces that are stylish, good quality, and totally worth your money. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect pair of jeans, a great blazer, or a cozy sweater, I’ve got you covered!

There are so many great pairs of jeans on Amazon, like this pair of straight leg jeans! I like ankle jeans in Spring and Summer so I can show off my pretty shoes. These jeans look great dressed up or down, so I can wear them with sneakers, sandals, or dress shoes. They hit right at my belly button, so they are true Midrise Straight Leg Jeans. A Classic Blazer
Nothing elevates the look of an outfit faster and easier than a blazer. This double breasted tweed blazer is gorgeous and can be worn for more than meetings and work events! The material is very nice, and the blazer is lined. It is of excellent quality, and although the buttons aren’t as heavy as I would like, they still look great. I loved this one so much that I bought it in white, black, plaid, and red!
A Cozy Cardigan
This striped cardigan is a cozy, lightweight option for cooler weather, made from soft, stretchy fabric. It reminds me of the lady jacket trend we talked about last year. This Striped Midi Dress is super flattering and easy to dress up or down! It looked small when I held it up, but the material had a lot of stretch and didn’t cling to my lumps and bumps. I ended up wearing this out to dinner with my husband earlier this week, and I threw on a lightweight cardigan with it since we were eating outside.

Tania, I remember when I first started following you and you wore a lot from a low priced store (can’t remember the name!) and you could always rock that stuff. I was in NY at the time and we had a similar store called Dress Barn (doesn’t every woman want to buy their clothes in a barn? LOL); I used you as a guide to style those garments. Fast forward 10 years, I’m retired now and not needing too many clothes but I have to tell you that this is your gift; you know how to find inexpensive items at a current resource and really sell them!! Found it! Thanks for these helpful tips! I am trying to find reasonably priced clothing for an upcoming trip. But I don’t know how many pieces of clothing I have returned from Amazon recently. I am 5’2” tall and everything is too long….pants, cardigans and tops.
You will need to make sure and check the inseam length before ordering. A possible solution would be to search for ankle pants.

Amazon does have some really pretty clothing, but I am 5’2″ and I have a very hard time finding petites there.
Tops are too long, sleeves too long and pants too long.
Occasionally I do find something that fits.

FOUND IT I disagree with you on one shoe brand: Dolce Vita. I tried 5 different size configurations and still the shoes did not fit. BTW, I am usually a 9.5W, and Dolce Vita can sometimes carry WW in some of their shoes. I do like Vionic for their arch support, but sometimes, their shoes just aren’t wide enough for me. Sigh, such is my life.
Carol Ann, you have to realize that not every brand works for certain people. For me, I find that “most” New Balance shoes don’t work because they have a wide toe box. But, for the masses, New Balance is a favorite brand.

I have found many good buys on Amazon. Sizing can be tricky sometimes look carefully at the charts for each brand. One of my favorites is this dress. It comes in a bunch of colors and patterns and can be dressed up and down.

Amazon for clothes is the most frustrating. You are right to look at the material it is made of and read the comments. Not only for and size, but for color. I’ve ordered tops and the colors are no where near what the picture showed.
I think it all depends on the brands. Since I have started to narrow my choices to Top, Premium, and Amazon brands, I don’t have as many issues.
