You gurls know I love shopping on Amazon for just about everything because the selection, convenience, and fast, free shipping are hard to beat. Plus, the reviews from real customers are SO helpful. If you’ve been looking for top-notch beauty products, you should check out Amazon’s new premium beauty section! I hadn’t heard of this new section until recently, but they’ve basically rounded up the best of the best when it comes to skincare, makeup, hair care, or fragrance and put them in one easy place. Today, I’m sharing the best premium beauty brands on Amazon, so make sure to bookmark this post for the next time you are in need of new makeup, skincare, or hair care products.

Best Premium Beauty Brands on Amazon

While I haven’t tried every single one of these brands yet, I’m calling out the ones I have tried and loved and some of the most popular, best selling products that I want to try!

Best Premium Makeup Brands:

Anastasia Beverly Hills – You’ve probably heard me mention this brow pencil before because I’ve been using it off and on for years!

ILIA – ILIA is a clean beauty and cosmetics brand. I love their products, and they are really good on mature skin. I also love their limitless lash mascara and True Skin Serum Concealer (Yucca SC2), but I’m out of it right now.

Pur – This is a great brand for the gurls who are looking for makeup made from natural ingredients and free from harmful chemicals.

Grande Cosmetics – You’ve probably heard of their top seller, Grande-LASH MD! You know that I use Lash Boost, but I have some friends who love this.

Jane Iredale – Their products are wonderful for women over the age of 50! I recently bought the Beyond Matte Lip Fixation Lip Stain (Temptation), and it lasts a long time. Like most lip stains, you need to add a gloss or balm to keep your lips from feeling dry.

  • Stila – I have eyeliners I love by this brand!

Urban Decay – I have used several products from this brand over the years, too! My favorite is their setting spray.

Premium Skincare Brands on Amazon:

EltaMD – They make a fabulous sunscreen. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and it doesn’t leave a white cast.

Drunk Elephant – This brand is one of my favorites! I use them all the time. I love the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, and I mix it with my moisturizers morning and night. Both of my granddaughters have started using Drunk Elephant (I bought them this starter set); you are never too young or too old to start a good skincare routine.

Laniege – You should try their lip sleeping mask! That was the first product that I tried by Laneige, and I recently got the Hyaluronic cream moisturizer, but I’ve not used it yet. The Laneige lip sleep mask is creamy and smooth, while I feel like the ILIA lip treatment has some exfoliation in it.

Sol de Janeiro – I grabbed a sample size of their Bum Bum Cream last winter. I liked it so much that I reordered it as soon as I finished the sample tube! It hydrates and moisturizes while smoothing and tightening your skin. You can use it wherever you’d like, but I concentrate on my legs, bum, belly, and arms. Because my body is so dry, I just ordered the Visibly Brightening and Smoothing Bom Dia AHA Body Cream, which is supposed to arrive this afternoon.

StriVectin – This is a new brand to me, but it is highly rated and was recommended to me by one of my friends. Since my necklines are a pain point for me, I decided to give it a try.

La Roche Posay – I’ve blogged before about how much I love La Rache-Posey products. I even have some of them on autoship! I love this Repair Moisturizing Cream, and I am sure to never run out. I’ve even been adding the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil to it before I rub it on my legs and arms,

Best Premium Hair Care Brands on Amazon:

Amika – The best of the best when it comes to dry shampoo… seriously, it’s the #1 dry shampoo on Amazon.

Kenra – Heat styling tools like straighteners and curling irons can take a toll on your hair over time. Using a high-quality heat protectant, such as my absolute favorite from Kenra, forms a protective barrier that shields your hair from the damaging effects of heat styling. I use this every time I wash my hair.

Colorwow – I received Colorwow’s best selling Dream Coat Supernatural Spray during Prime Day in July and have really been liking it!

  • Olaplex – I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and she is obsessed.
  • Oribe – Apparently, this dry texture spray needs to be in my cart like now! It’s super popular, and it gives your hair buildable volume and texture.
  • Moroccanoil

Hair Tool Brands:

  • Dyson – I NEVER thought I would say that this hair dryer was worth the money, but it was worth every penny. I used to say that unless the hair dryer came to my house and dried my hair for me, I would never spend that kind of money on a hair dryer. Never say never! This makes my hair more shiny and doesn’t create as much frizz and the cheaper dryers I had been using. I also have their Corrale straightener. The cordless feature is awesome!
  • Shark – While I did like the Shark hair dryer, I decided to stick with my Dyson.
  • T3

I sure spend a lot of money on makeup and skincare, and that made me think about a Dolly Parton quote, “it takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” Lol! Here is a wonderful interview of her by Barbara Walters.

  1. “it takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” LOL I LOVE it! Dolly is the best!
I like that I can find many of my beauty products on Amazon, shipped to my door. Especially when I want to try something new. I don’t like spending a lot of time driving around looking for specific products. Thank you for sharing this premium beauty brand section of Amazon.

We went from a jacket walking into Church this morning to 84 ( degrees) walking out.
Fall is crazy in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

  3. Love Dolly’s confidence. I signed my grandson up for her Imagination Library free book club

  4. Sherry Sousa says:

Hi Tania, I’m wondering if you have a fragrance free liquid foundation you would recommend. I trust all of your recommendations and like trying a product that you know about. Thank you

    1. Sherry, I haven’t tried many foundations, but I need to. I’ve been using R+F Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid for years, and haven’t branched out to other brands. I use Beige and Golden to get the perfect color I need. In the summer I use more of Golden, and in the winter, I use more Beige.

  5. Lots of great products

  6. sue ann koren says:

Lots of good ideas here – Thanks!

  7. I love Kenra and Morroccanoil hair products. I have used Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, but I have very mixed feelings about it. My favorite hair product is Kenra Perfect Medium hairspray. I just cannot do without hairspray and this gives me workable hold without looking like a helmet. I am like you and just can’t justify the cost of the Dyson hairdryer in my mind. But I know it has great reviews and I love my Dyson vacumn cleaner which I use multiple times a day.

    1. Joy, it is funny what we will spend money on. I would use my hair dryer way more than a vacuum cleaner. Lol!

  8. I love the idea of the lip sleeping mask

  9. I’ll certainly try some of these, especially for my hair!

  10. I’ve never heard of some of these brands. I need to up my game!

  11. Love the Kenra styling products and I also use the La Roche-Posay lotion. Will try your tip of adding a drop of oil for extra moisturizing. My favorite dry oil is NUXE (a multipurpose dry oil for face, hair and body).

    1. Be sure to try it, Julia. It works great.

  12. Lots of choices. I do use the dry shampoo from Amika.

  13. Susan Wiley Grim says:

Amazon sure does make it easy. Happy Fall💗

    1. Agreed! They are at my house regularly.

  14. I like clean beauty products especially for eye area since I’m so sensitive. I’m going to look into the Pur brand. I need a lash serum that’s free of chemicals. That yellow sunset was awesome.

    1. Terri, it would be hard to get a lash serum without chemicals. I’ve heard that some people use castor oil (look it up, that might be the wrong thing), but that it didn’t work that great.

    1. I believe in using quality products, especially on my face!

  15. Love this post. As for the concealer, do you recommend trying to match skin tone as closely as possible or to go a shade lighter for coverup??
    Thanks.

    1. Lori, I try to match my skin for a concealer, I go lighter for a highlighter.

  16. Wow! So many cool products and a few that I’ve never heard of before! I love that you mentioned a couple for “mature” skin and dry skin. 👍🏼

    1. Well, I’m 63, so anything I use is for mature skin. Lol!
