Fashions I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love From Amazon
Y’all, I buy a LOT of clothing! I’m sure that doesn’t come as a surprise to you. I can’t keep everything I buy and photograph; I would need several houses to hold it all. I keep what I love the most, and like Marie Kondo, I ask if it sparks joy down in my soul. I spent yesterday looking back to see which fashions I bought in the last year that I still love from Amazon.
Fashions I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love From Amazon
Caftan, Wedges, and a Clutch
I’m not going to lie—I love this caftan! It is comfy and perfect for wearing around the house instead of PJs. But I honestly think it looks exquisite when dressed up with jewelry, heels, and a nice clutch. Of course, you can also wear it on the beach as a swimsuit cover-up, so this thing is sweeeet! Funny thing…Joe loves it too.
The Straw Clutch and Clear Strap Wedge Shoes are at the top of my favorites list. I wear the shoes with everything, and the straw clutch has become an essential for me. I also ordered it in black because when I like something; I’ll order it in multiple colors. Lol!
Active Skort
This is my favorite skort! You know I love versatile clothing, and this skort outfit could be worn for golf, tennis, or a date night. I love this print, and this length is my favorite for a skort. The longer skorts look dressy, but this length helps to make my legs look long and lean, and that’s what I want. This skort is also available in more colors and prints.
Lightweight Button Sweater
How much do you think this sweater costs? Take a good look at this beautiful, lightweight cardigan. It is soft and comfortable and washes up nicely. It is thin, so it doesn’t add a ton of warmth but it is great for cold restaurants, movies, etc. I loved it so much that I also bought it in white and navy. (multiples again!)
Striped Lady Jacket Sweater
I love this new trend that came out this year, probably because it is a take on a vintage look. The Lady Jacket is an inspired trend of a Chanel-ish look. It gives off a classic, upscale vibe, and I love the elevated casual look. I wore this outfit to the dermatologist the other day, and I thought it looked polished and put together.
Fashions I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love – Blazers
I added a black Long Blazer to my Valentine’s Day outfit earlier this year. It elevated the look but kept it casual. Every woman needs a black blazer in their closet. (read this post for the other essentials you need) You can wear a black blazer with pants, dresses, shorts, skirts, and jeans. In other words, it is extremely versatile.
Nothing elevates the look of an outfit faster and easier than a blazer. This double breasted tweed blazer is gorgeous and can be worn for more things than meetings and work events! The material is very nice, and the blazer is lined. It is of excellent quality, although the buttons aren’t as heavy as I would like, but they still look great. I loved this one so much that I bought it in white, black, plaid, and red. (Noticing a pattern?)
Here’s the jacket in white. It is gorgeous in every color!
Fashions I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love – Football Weather
You’ve probably heard me say that my son coaches a high school team. I’ve got a lot of game-day outfits to come up with because I can’t be sitting in the stands looking frumpy! Of course, the school colors are blue and white, but if I’m going to use this platform for football looks, I have to go with the Tennessee Vols!
You know I like my bling, lol. This gameday shirt with sequin footballs is perfect for when you want to cheer on a team but don’t want to be specific. Ha! It’s so comfortable. It’s meant to be slightly oversized, so keep that in mind if you want something more fitted. I like the white, but it also comes in purple, red, orange, and black.
Shoes I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love
I love the New Balance Cross Trainers. You tie them, but after that, they can be pulled on. I like anything that’s easy on and off. My feet are on the narrow side, so they pucker a little bit if I try to tie them too tightly. I’m fine with that, though. I did size down a 1/2 size, and they fit great.
I love a block heel sandal during spring and summer. The Vionic Ankle Straps Heeled Sandal looks great and is also comfortable. I love that they have a velcro closure that looks like a normal buckle, but it is MUCH EASIER to fasten. I usually feel like a contortionist trying to buckle my shoes, but this pair makes it super easy. These will look great with anything and can be worn with dresses, jeans, pants, and shorts. These are available in many colors, including a pewter metallic version.
The NAOT Dorith Sandals with Cork Footbed and Arch Support are what I reach for when I’m going to be on my feet for a very long. They are very comfortable, and the design helps them stay secure without moving around. I love the velcro closure, which makes them so easy to put on and take off.
I’ve had these UGG slippers for almost three years, and they still look almost like new. I’ve worn them outside to take my dog potty and even in the snow. These have a suede upper and a 100% Sheepskin lining. They are about as cozy as it gets, and I love that I can easily slip them on without taking the time to pull and tug.
My Favorite Everyday Leggings
You never would have guessed that these are my absolute favorite leggings! They are from Amazon, and they are the lightest, softest, most buttery leggings I have ever put on my body. They are so inexpensive, and they come in a 3-pack. Keep in mind that these leggings have zero compression, but they are my absolute favorite day-to-day leggings. I think these win the award for the thinnest, softest black leggings for women over 50. Bookmark these as a must-try item, girls!
Fashions I Bought In The Last Year That I Still Love – Sweaters
The striped sweater vest is by the same brand as the Crewneck Button Up Knit Sweater I wore in my Fantastic Lady Jackets To Wear Now And Later post. It is of really nice quality, and I love the weight of it. This vest would look great with white or black pants for a dressier look. But, I think it would look equally as good with bright colors such as hot pink or green.
I’ve shared many items from this brand also since they are one of my favorites on Amazon. I love the casual style of this vest, and the oversized buttons are functional and decorative, too. I’m wearing a medium, and the vest fits perfectly. I saw someone comment that it ran huge, but I don’t find that it does. If you are between sizes, then size down.
I love wearing linen pants in the spring and summer months, and these are comfortable enough that you feel like you’re getting away with wearing lounge pants in public. They are a pull-on style with a drawstring waist, which is always a plus in my book.
I styled them with this white knit short sleeve cardigan. It feels so sturdy and well-made, and I absolutely love the gold button detail, which coordinates so well with gold jewelry.
This Oversized Striped Cardigan Sweater is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon last year. I love how soft and comfy it is, but I love the oversized look the most. I think it looks great with the NYDJ white ankle jeans, and yes…you can wear them before Memorial Day and after Labor Day without the fashion police coming to arrest you.
I love a cable-knit sweater, and this one is sooo soft! I’ve worn it multiple times, and I loved it so much that I also bought it in white and pink. The medium fits me great, but I bought the white in large.
I bought way more fashions, and I kept a whole lot more. But, these are the things I bought in the last year that sparked joy. I’ll share more of my favorite items below, and I’ll post about the other items in the coming week.

I can see why you love these items! I really like the light weight sweaters and tops.
The white pants/shoes fashion police rule that I was taught was Easter/Labor Day. You get more time….lol.
Great Amazon fashion
Happy Birthday to your Dad.
I have 3 pairs of those Dorith Naot sandals. Teal, silver and red. I wear mine all summer long and receive many compliments on them. You’re right, you can comfortably wear them all day. I even have a bunion on my left foot, and these sandals accommodate that too. I really love all of the diverse looks you style them with.
Deanna, thanks for sharing your experience with everyone.
I love the blue animal print caftan.
I look forward to your daily e-mails and Bible verse, and of course your style sense.
Happy birthday to your dad. That is a great picture. I have the caftan in my cart. I’m a little worried about the one size fits all. It looks great on you and doesn’t look like a one size fits all. I can always return it!
It is really oversized and roomy. That’s why I love it!
Hello Tania,
I agree with you a blazer can definitely elevate any outfit. I like to turn up the sleeves so its important that the blazer is lined. I took a look at the long blazer and the description does not mention lining. Can you tell me please. I would love a red or navy blazer too.
Thanks. I enjoy reading your blog almost every morning.
Cristi, it is lined. I wasn’t home when you asked, and I wanted to double check to make sure. This is a nice quality blazer.
Good Morning! All of your “year old” fashions are still relevant and still gorgeous. I love the sweater vests and especially the LIPS T shirt with red shoes. Amazing. I’m trying to be more daring with what I wear…of course the husband likes me to be more traditional and simple. Have I mentioned that being only 5’1 makes fun clothing almost impossible?
Blessings, Julie
Happy Birthday to your Dad! I too have fond memories of my dad with camping and fishing at “the lake”. He was my best teacher in so many ways.
I’m eyeing those linen pants that you love. Definitely having a heat wave here in Western Canada. I’d welcome cooler temperatures and rain.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR FATHER! You have some precious memories from your childhood. I enjoyed seeing some of the items you have purchased in the past year that you still love. As it relates to my clothes I now have the mindset that if I don’t love it, I don’t keep it. Thus I am on the verge of doing a big purge of my closet, especially since there are way too many things that I have not put on this summer.
Loving the white sweater vest!
Sounds like you had a fabulous childhood.
I have the white/beige blazer and jumpsuit in 2 colors-based on your post. Thanks.
I am just amazed your father was able to ski with one hand and carry your son at the same time.
Sounds like a wonderful childhood.
This post is great, love the variety and reminder of some things I had gotten from your suggestions. Seeing some things I had overlooked and need to reconsider 🙂
Love the caftan.
Happy BD to your dad!
Thank you for sharing. I do wonder sometimes what do you keep and what do you wear often. I really like the sweater vests. And they are very affordable.
This year I like what I have purchased too. Last year I made more mistakes. I’m trying to buy what I love and not just for the sake of buying.
Tania, I bought that caftan in the same pattern and took it with me on a recent trip to upstate New York…My Brother and his husband live there and we visited their Lake House in the Adirondacks…it was PERFECT for lounging!!! I called it my ‘Mrs Roper” outfit! Happy Birthday to your Dad! Happy Tuesday ❤️❤️❤️
Alison, I’ve ordered 2 more of them. Lol!
I love skorts!
You always give such great ideas and at many different price points
I bought that skort, too and LOVE it!!
Your post today about your dad was great. My dad’s birthday was July 20th. We had a boat growing up, and my dad taught my sister, brother and I how to water ski. We always went on Sunday, after church, and brought a cooler of food. It was wonderful. Thanks for a good memory, Tania!
We all loved the lake, but it was more fun when I was little. As a grownup, it is a lot of work. Lol!
it was fun looking back at your favorite outfits.
Wow, that’s a lot of stuff. Thank you. I also grew up waters skiing. My father had a second home on a lake. It was such good times and memories.
Love several of these items. I live in AZ and the blue caftan will be perfect for casual dinner parties. Thanks for the suggestions!
I love the summertime tops shown in linen but you make everything look adorable!! I live in Texas and the humidity along with the heat is terrible. I love the different options you have shown.
Thank you for all the wonderful items you bring to us on a daily basis.
Today is my birthday too and this year I received the biggest blessing. I became a grandmother for the first time.
How exciting! Congratulations!
Yep, lots of good stuff here! Some I ordered, thanks Tania!
Thanks for sharing your favorites!
I still love uggs. sounds like you had some wonderful memories.
One of the reasons i like you SO much is that you are a TENNESSEE girl!
TN girl through and through.
All great looks!
I will admit to having a few Vols items in my wardrobe. ha!
Go big orange.
