A COAT THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL WARM AND COZY - 50 IS NOT OLD

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink sherpa warm and cozy coat with burgundy pants. Joe and I didn’t get back from Tennessee until Sunday afternoon. We had a great time, but boy was I glad to get back home. We left my daughter, Ashleigh, in Tennessee, and she was supposed to have flown out going back home to Alaska on Monday morning. You might have noticed the word “supposed” in the sentence above. Instead of being in Alaska this morning, she is back here in Virginia.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink sherpa warm and cozy coat with burgundy pants and animal print booties. When Joe and I travel, we always hire a lady to come and housesit. She stays at the house and feeds the animals while we are away. We like having someone at the house, plus we like the animals to have someone to keep them company. Lucy, the dog, loves her to death, and the cats tolerate her, which as much as we could ask. Lol! However, when we arrived home on Sunday, I noticed that my daughter’s cat, Tom, didn’t come to greet me.  I looked all over the house, but no Tom. Tom must have slipped out a door when the lady wasn’t looking, and he is missing. This cat is afraid of everything, and won’t come to anyone other than myself and Ashleigh. So, after we called my daughter to tell her that the cat was missing, she canceled her flight and drove back to Virginia. We have scoured the area, calling for him. And, we have alerted all of the neighbors, but he is still nowhere to be found. We are putting out game cameras in the hopes of spotting him, and I am certainly praying that he finds his way back home.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink sherpa cozy coat I feel like fuzzy-wuzzy, the bear in this coat. I can see why they refer to these as “teddy-bear” coats. Lol! This pink sherpa jacket/coat is cute as a button, and it is super fun to wear. There is no way that you could wear this coat and not have fun. This is not a heavy coat, but it does provide a small amount of warmth. The jacket is lined on the inside, and surprisingly, I haven’t noticed it shedding. You can machine wash this coat, but I haven’t tried that, yet so I am not sure how it will look after it is washed. I am wearing a medium for sizing references. Here is the link.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing an ivory v-neck sweater with burgundy pants. I thought that you might like a view of the v-neck sweater that I am wearing. This sweater is way nicer than I expected for the price. It is not a heavy sweater, but you can’t really see through it as you would think. The sweater comes in several other colors, and I also ordered the solid red one. I love a v-neckline because it is so flattering and makes your neck look like it is long and lean. I intend to wear this later over a button-up shirt, or just with jeans for a lazy weekend. The size that I am wearing is a size large since I plan on layering it over a shirt later on. Here is the link to the sweater, but you might have to find them in the stores.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing burgundy pants and animal print booties. I am giving my animal print ankle boots another try. I wore them (here) the other day, and most of you were not too sure that you liked them with my outfit. These are the cutest, most stylish ankle boot that I own. I oohed and awwed for an hour over these when I opened the box. These leather booties are by ENZO ANGIOLINI, and they have a 3″ heel and a pointed toe. I am wearing my usual size 9, and these fit me fine. Anytime that I buy shoes with a pointed toe, they will feel tight at first, but they usually loosen up after a minute. Here is the link to the boots.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink sherpa warm and cozy coat with burgundy pants and ankle boots in animal print I have had these pants for a long time, but they were hidden behind a black pair. So, the other day I was rummaging through my closet, and I found them. It was like Christmas or finding money in your coat pocket, and I was thrilled. I had completely forgotten about this pair of pants. I love this deep red/burgundy/maroon pair of skinny jeans/leggings. These look like jeans, but they are lighter weight, and they fit more like a legging. They are stretchy, and I want to thank whoever invited spandex personally. Lol!

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is wearing a pink teddy bear coat with burgundy pants. Y’all, I am thrilled to get to tell you that I can now offer you some samples of some of R+F products. Rodan + Fields do not offer many samples for several reasons. One, you will NOT be able to get results from most products with a single sample. Most products will take time, and consistent use, to be able to see results. Two, Rodan + Fields considers ALL of their products to be samples since you have a money-back guarantee. Think about it…which would you rather have; a one-time sample, or a product that you can use for 60 days and then return (empty bottles and no questions asked) if you are not happy? The one-time samples are meant more for you to be able to feel, smell, and determine how well the products with your skin.

The products that I am going to be able to get a sample of are the Active Hydration Serum, the Active Hydration Body Replenish, and the Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex. I can also get samples of the Intensive Renewing Serum, the Microdermabrasion Paste, the lip renewing serum, and the Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid.

I have the samples on order, but if you are interested in getting one or more of them, then comment and I will contact you for your mailing address. If you are interested in trying the full-size products with a 60-day money-back guarantee, then go here to place your order. 1. I hope Thomas is ok and safely returns home to your family. He’s beautiful. I like the boots with this outfit. They compliment the deep burgundy solid pant beautifully. I didn’t comment on them on the prior post but I wasn’t a fan of them with the gray outfit. I was thinking a black/gray leopard would look nice. Just my 2 cents on the boots 🤷🏼‍♀️. Fun coat. I have a shorter white one. It has limited usefulness here in Chicago. Seems if I don’t wear it in Nov it doesn’t get worn. This year it’s oddly warm. I even wore mine on Christmas. Woo Hoo! They are so darn fun and I feel fancy & snuggly when I wear it.

  2. Post on the Nextdoor app to see if anyone has found him. Put his litter box outside to draw him back. Hope you find him soon!! I own that same coat. Fun!!

Love the boots with this outfit also. Hope your kitty finds his way back home soon.

  4. You might consider putting Thomas’s litter box outside; much success has been reported by local residents in bringing their cats back home with this method. He may be hiding close by but just too afraid to come out.

  5. I hope Ashleigh’s kitty makes it back soon. Put something out that he likes to sleep on and his litter box.

I love your outfit and boots. You look stunning.

I would love to try the Active Hydration products.

    Have a great day.

I’m so sorry Tom got out. I’ll be praying he returns home safely. I’m a cat lover so I can only imagine the concern you’re feeling. Lots of good ideas on ways to get him home from others.

I love your outfit today. The coat does make me smile. And the burgundy pants are great. I like the boots, but couldn’t do the 3” heels, but love the look & print of them. But most importantly, you love them. Enjoy wearing them.

  7. I hope you find Tom soon! Definitely an outfit I would wear head to toe!

  8. You might check ALL of your closets, etc or any other places like that. We lost our dog once and panicked. We looked everywhere, called her, looked outside….nowhere to be found. THEN it dawned on me much later that she MIGHT have gotten in our closet unnoticed by me and sure enough when I looked, there she was!!! Had never barked or anything to let us know she was in there!!! I sure hope Thomas shoes up. He’s a beautiful cat but feral cats will only come to ‘maybe’ one person. Very aloof as you already know.

  9. praying for Thomas’ safe return! love the outfit and especially the boots. great necklace as well!

  10. I am hoping her kitty shows up soon!!! I would be so upset. Love those boots!!!!

  11. You look adorable! Great outfit!!
SO sad when a pet is lost. I am praying that Tom comes home and fast. Try the kitty litter box trick outdoors, as well as food.
Would love to try any/all of the skin care product samples. So interested. Thank you and God bless.

    Tania,
I am praying for your daughter’s cat to return home soon! He’s a handsome boy. It looks like he’s a ragdoll cat.
I like this outfit a lot, it looks great on you. White looks good on you…you should wear it more often.

  16. I hope your kitty comes home soon. Also, keep wearing the boots!! They are awesome!!!

  17. As a cat lover, I am praying Tom finds his way home right away! I would be crying like a baby if my Marley were lost. You look stunning, love the entire outfit, but darn, the sweater in California is no longer available! I need to try that active hydration with this dry skin!

  18. 🙏 that your cat is found.
I would LOVE to try some R&F samples for my aging skin. Possibly serums.
    Thanks

I hope your TOM cat returns soon. :(. He looks like one of my kitties.
Love the outfit today the coat boots and pants.

  20. Life just stops when a beloved pet is missing. I hope he shows up soon. I know you’re trying all the tricks.
Adorable outfit that looks darling on you!
On another note, I’ve gone back thru your posts trying to find the name of the book your sister recommended to you. Can’t find it, but would love to know what it was. Did you read it? You are looking very trim lately, so share your secret, please!

  21. Wowza, hot mama!! This is a date night outfit and Joe needs to take you out. I love this whole look and it’s something I would wear out on a date with my hubby. Those boots are gorgeous with this outfit. LOVE them!!

You can try a cat trap with Kentucky Fried Chicken! My daughter’s cat, who looks just like Tom, camped under her neighbor’s house for three days – this is how we got him back. Best of luck – your blog brightens my day every day – I bought those earrings and am loving them too!

Great outfit! You are looking younger with each post. Can you send the link for the tassel necklace you are wearing?

Hope you find Thomas soon. You look great in today’s outfit.

  25. I hope the sweet kitty comes home soon! If you haven’t already, check with your local shelter, but they usually call if the cat is chipped. One of ours was missing for a day and a half last summer. We think she might have been locked into someone’s garage a street or two away. And a long time ago, she got stuck in the drop ceiling in the basement and we thought she was lost. So many places for a cat to hide, then they are too scared to make a sound. Good luck!!
Fabulous outfit, loving that fuzzy coat!

Oh, I hope you have found Tom by now! He has the biggest blue eyes I have ever seen. I’ve learned things by reading your blog today though. I had no idea of putting the litter box outside to get them to come home. I just never thought about that, but it makes sense.

  27. Good luck with Tom. I sure hope he returns. Pets get so shaken up when their routine is changed and different people are around. Especially cats. I know ours does. I like this outfit except for the jacket. It looks more like something just to lounge around the house in. I would be interested in getting a few of the samples.

  28. It looks cute. I’m getting more into pink lately and I would love this coat but I have more warm things than I can possibly ever wear here on the Coast. I hope your daughters cat comes home. I know your daughter must be so worried. I love my little 15 year old. He’s family.

  29. Hoping the kitty comes back safe and sound! Our 19 1/2 year old kitty just passed this weekend. I know how much an animal can mean to a family. I would interesting in trying the Bright Eye sample if possible.

  30. I love your outfit today. I always have trouble with pointy toes and size up.
I’ve heard a little about the R & F products but never tried them. If you look like you after trying, count me in!

I would love to hear from YOU!
