Life Update
My tiny sprout is growing like a weed! Lol! I’ve never had a Money Tree do this before, so I’m officially in uncharted territory. I’m going to let it grow, but now I’m wondering how I keep it from getting too thin and leggy. If it gets too tall, will it eventually break from its own weight? Gracious, this is stressful!
If you follow Living Well For Seniors and get the weekly email my sister sends, then you probably know it takes a LOT to stress our family out. We’re more of a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants bunch. If something goes wrong, we pivot. If that goes wrong, too, we take a nap. Hahaha! Life is too short to worry about things we can’t change.
Apparently, though, a never-before-seen sprout on my Money Tree is where I draw the line. Remember, this is a money tree, so if it’s trying to branch out, I’m all in!
Come on, little Money Tree, show me another way to make money…as long as it doesn’t involve starting another blog!!! 😂
Look for the ARROW to Scroll my Picks
Because WordPress is still acting up, you’ll see the items I picked all in a row with a tiny arrow that allows you to scroll through the items. That arrow is so hard to see, so I’ve highlighted it in the photo below. It is always in the same spot, so even if you can’t see it, you can still tap it or swipe right to left to make it work. This week, I leaned toward sales on current, full-priced collections rather than the deep clearance racks, since those tend to be picked over by the time you click through. Talbots has 30% off regular-price dresses, skirts, shoes, and accessories right now. The discount comes off in your bag, so there is no code to remember. I did a try-on at Talbots on Wednesday, and I wanted to try this dress, but this was the only one left in the store.

Chico’s Fall Preview just launched, new arrivals starting at $39 and up to 50% off, and it is full-price current season stock rather than sale bin leftovers. The sweater and jeans combo is one that I wish I had brought home with me.
Land’s End
Land’s End is offering 40% Off Tops + Up to 40% off Everything Else with code: DENIM, and it applies to select regular-price pieces too, not just clearance.
J.Jill
J.Jill has $10 off full-priced jeans plus free returns right now, so I am pointing you to the Extra 40% Off All Sale Styles also. This Crimson sweater is why I went to J.Jill. I was determined to do a try-on there, just for the excuse to buy this sweater. Lol!

LOFT has up to 50% off your purchase at full price. The great thing about a sale on full-priced items is that those pieces are less likely to be sold out in your size.
Ann Taylor
Ann Taylor is running 40% off summer styles at full price, 25% off tops and sweaters. I love this soft mink colored vest, and it has a collar which makes it perfect to wear under a blazer.
White House Black Market
White House Black Market has a 25% Off Entire Purchase. Price as Marked. It has been a while since I’ve shopped at WHBM, but I’m so glad they are back on my radar!
UNTUCKit
Yes – UNTUCKit carries some women’s styles, too. The dress that I’m wearing is from UNTUCKit, but it was last year, so it is sold out. I’ll link to more items below, and they’re all 30% off!

The sale section is up to 50% off, no code needed, and their Friends & Family Sale is coming up in September if you want to wait for an even bigger event. I absolutely love the color and style of this cashmere boyfriend sweater. It would be so pretty with dark wash jeans, or even chocolate brown this fall.

One More Thing
After talking to my sister approximately 85 times today, I think we’ve finally decided that our brother needs to join the family business. Now we just have to figure out which blog gets him.
He’s 12 years younger than I am and, obviously, a man, so I’m not sure how well he’d be received doing a try-on for 50 Is Not Old. Although, now that I’ve pictured it, I’m slightly tempted to try. Lol!
I’m voting for Living Well For Seniors. Technically, he isn’t a senior yet, but after spending MONTHS dealing with my sister while he’s building her new house, I’m pretty sure he’s aged considerably. 😂
In fact, by the time that house is finished, he may not just qualify for Living Well For Seniors…he may be ready to retire from the home-building industry altogether. Hahaha!
