THE LATEST SHOES FOR 2020 PT. 2

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing linen loafers from Rothy's What a wild day I had yesterday. Nothing major, just a really busy day. First off, I can’t believe that you gurl’s liked yesterday’s outfit so much. (here) I liked it too, but I haven’t seen so many people like and comment on an outfit before…unless it has a giveaway attached to it. Lol! Speaking of giveaway, the winner of the “tell me a joke” for a prize from me, was Teresa. Teresa told this joke and Instastories picked it as the winner: Q: What did the duck say when he bought lipstick? A: “Put it on my bill.” 😂
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing linen loafers and cuffed dark wash jeans Today is a LONG post, but it is hard to show you the latest shoes for 2020, and make it a short post. Even though I divided the shoes into two separate posts, I had ordered a lot of shoes. There is a video for those who prefer that at the end of the post. In the post on Tuesday (Here) I always find it interesting to see which item you click on the most. That tells me what you LIKE, not necessarily what you purchase. And, the shoe that you clicked on the most from Tuesday’s post was the white slip-on sneakers from Rothy’s. So, I am starting off today with another Rothy’s pair that I think you will like.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing linen loafers from Rothy's These slip-on loafers and a blend between the sneakers and the round-toe loafer. Just think that those two got married and had a baby; it is this shoe. Lol! These are round-toe also, have the removable insole, and are machine washable.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding linen loafers from Rothy's These shoes are a beautiful linen color, but they come in a huge assortment of colors. Like the other Rothy shoes that I have shown before, these are super soft and stretchy, and they are a knit material that is made from recycled plastic. Woohoo for sustainable clothing and shoes. I love the unique detail of the tiny pop of blue color that lines the heel. I am wearing a size 9.5 in these, and they fit great. Here is the link to the shoes.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing adorable spring pink wedge platform shoes How cute are these wedge shoes??? I love the pretty pink color of these shoes, they will look so good this spring and summer. Warning! These are a platform wedge shoe, so think back to the times of the 70s. The platform is 1 1/2″ and the heel in 4 1/2″ once you add the platform. These are adorable, but if you are not used to walking on platform shoes, tread lightly (joke, get it) Anyway, I don’t want anyone turning their ankle and hurting.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing adorable spring pink wedge platform shoes However, if you are used to walking on platform shoes, these are great. I love the woven design pattern that is across the strap, around your ankle, and all over the platform. These are not heavy shoes, so that isn’t an issue.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding adorable spring pink wedge platform shoes See how cute the woven design is? These also come in black, orange, and neutral in case you are not a fan of pink. I ordered the black pair also because I have a gorgeous dress that they will go great with, so you’ll see those in a later post. I am wearing my usual size 9 in these, and they fit great. Here is the link to the Gabby shoes which are on sale for 25% off.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing adorable Lilly Pulitzer summer flip flops I purchased these flip flops to match a bathing suit that I bought a couple of weeks ago from Lilly Pulitzer. These are so cute, fun, and not very expensive. Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing adorable Lilly Pulitzer summer flip flops

I think that these shoes are a happy print. Actually, all of Lilly Pulitizer’s prints are happy prints. These are lightweight and made of a dense foam which makes them waterproof.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding adorable Lilly Pulitzer summer flip flops Look at how pretty this print is! I also love the gold jelly strap/thong that catches your eye as you walk. Here is the link to the shoes, and if you want to see the bathing suit that I ordered, click here.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing sassy red and cheetah print heels. Woah! One of these shoes is not like the others! Lol! Do you remember that song from Sesame Street? Anyway, I told you gurls that there would be a couple of dressier shoes in this post, so this is the first one.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing sassy red and cheetah print heels. I love the bright red on the bottom of the shoes that pops against the Cheetah print. The material is super soft, like a suede fabric, and I love how it is knotted across the toe. I also like how these have the memory foam insole, so they are comfortable to walk in if you are used to walking in heels. Lol!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding sassy red and cheetah print heels. Here is a better picture of the material. Nothing about these shoes is for the faint of heart. The color and the print is bold, and the block heel is 4″ high! These babies are a real statement shoe, and they will be noticed! These are from Scoop and can be purchased at Walmart, so you know they are affordable. Here is the link to the shoes, and they are only 30.00!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing bright Marigold pointed toe shoes from Rothy's This is the last pair of Rothy shoes that I am showing you. I wanted to show you the different styles that they offer and let you know how the sizing runs on each one.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing bright Marigold pointed toe shoes from Rothy's This bright Marigold color is so cute. It is a color that will be perfect for Spring and Summer, but it will also be fabulous for the coming fall. I love it when we can wear our things for longer seasons. This is the pointed-toe design, and it is a modern take on a ballet flat. I love how these shoes have so much stretch to the fabric, they move with you as you walk.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding bright Marigold pointed toe shoes from Rothy's I ordered a whole size up for these shoes. The size that I am wearing is a size 10, and it does feel loose. However, when I walk, my heel doesn’t slip up and down, so I am not sure if they are too big. I think that if I ordered the 9.5 they might feel too snug because of the pointed toe. I do love the bright blue lining across the back of the heel. That is a unique detail that makes these shoes pop!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding a bright Marigold pointed toe shoes from Rothy's Here is how they are made on the bottom, so you can see there is no heel at all. These are like wearing moccasins, they are so comfortable. They are washable, and they come in 16 other colors, so you are bound to find one that suits your fancy. Here is the link to the bright marigold shoes. Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing Cheetah print pointed toe shoes from Time and Tru from Walmart You might have noticed that my outfit changed, and also the location where I was taking photos. I took these photos the other day, but when I got ready to show the shoes to you, I noticed that they were almost sold out of all of the sizes in this pattern. However, I decided to show them to you today because they come in a couple of other patterns that are available. Plus, even though these are not online, they may be at your local Walmart.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing Cheetah print pointed toe shoes from Time and Tru from Walmart These are super comfortable, and they are like this pair that I bought last fall and I wore all winter long. This is the Cheetah print, but there is a Leopard print and a snakeskin print that has sizes available online.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding Cheetah print pointed toe shoes from Time and Tru from Walmart These are by Time and Tru from Walmart, and you can see from the photo that they have a memory foam padded footbed. I am wearing my usual size 9 in these shoes, and they fit fabulously! Here is the link to the shoes that are under 15.00, and good luck with your size being available or in finding them in your store.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing Neon Yellow strappy shoes by Scoop from Walmart This is the last pair of shoes for the day. I am ending the post with a POP OF COLOR! These shoes are so sassy! The straps are sassy, the color is sassy, and the heels are sassy. Now, I can’t wait to see who my sassy gurls are. Lol! I ordered these to go with a pretty navy dress, but the dress didn’t fit, so I had to send that back. You will find more to wear with these than you might think. There is navy, and look at how it pops off of the pink top, grays look great with yellow, and then you have white also. And, that is just scratching the surface of what you could wear with these heels.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old showing Neon Yellow strappy shoes by Scoop from Walmart Look at how cute these are!!! I wasn’t sure how I felt about the square toe, but it is a design that I keep seeing online, so I wanted to try it out for myself. I don’t have pretty feet, and a couple of my toes are longer than the big toe, so I tend to stay with pointy-toe or round-toe. But, I ended up liking this look more than I thought that I would. I am wearing my usual size 9, and they fit great.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old holding Neon Yellow strappy shoes by Scoop from Walmart The name of this color is yellow. That doesn’t show very much imagination, and I am not sure that it is actually accurate. They are really a NEON yellow, and they have material like patent leather…very shiny. These are by Scoop, they are from Walmart, and they are also only 30.00. Here is the link for all of you sassy gurls. And, if you like the shoes, but not the yellow, they also come in black and white. Next week I’ll be doing the “jean’s under 100.00” try-on for you. I hope that you liked this session, and if you have any suggestions for future try-ons, let me know. After yesterday’s post, I thought about doing a white button-up session. Would that be something that you are interested in seeing?

Helpful post. Those linen textured Rothy’s caught my eye as soon as I opened your email. Very classy. Here’s a “yes” to a white button shirt session. No-iron would be a bonus with a hem that just covers my rear. I like to toss a white shirt over my workout tee paired with black capri’s/leggings should I need to run a quick errand. I loved yesterday’s outfit too!

those pink wedges are too cute! I just got 2 more pairs of shoes in the mail yesterday and one of them is a wedge the same height, I am used to heels so they are fine, and surprisingly comfortable. I love the cheetah heels too, but 4 inch with no front platform is just too high for walking all day. I am soo intrigued by Rothys, I might just make the investment.

Love the pink wedges! Probably would kill myself in them, but they look so cute! I do buy wedge shoes and feel like they are a replacement to the heels I used to wear! May have to rethink these shoes….try them and at last resort send them back! HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I think yesterday’s outfit hit the mark, at least for me, was the long necklace from Chico’s. It elevated the look from ordinary to wow and really brought all of the pieces together to form a truly coordinated look. If that necklace was still available I would have ordered it and the sweater immediately.

I love the swimsuit so much!!! Please include a button for Plus sizes in your clothing. That’s the main reason I buy clothes on-line. The brick and mortar stores just don’t accommodate us larger gurls!!! Thank you, Darlin!

Love the shoe posts. I tend to go with low heels but when I saw those yellow sandals I was surprised how much I liked them. Maybe I was thinking a little cheer during this time of virus season? So glad you show so many different types of shoes, not only does it probably help all your readers find something they like but for me it challenged me to try something new!

Love love love all the shoes. I wish I could wear those higher heels still but alas it makes me tower over my sweet hubby who doesn’t mind, but I do. All you tiny short girlies took the tall guys. What’s up with that? Not that I would trade my Honey. Love the idea of a white shirt post – I always feel I look chunky in a white button up so I must be doing it wrong or buying the wrong shirt.

LOVE the yellow shoes!!! Too bad I can’t wear them :-(( Funny, I didn’t even notice the cuffed jeans, which look great, but I’m in a no shopping mode until we know more about the virus status :-(( So sad. I’ve mentioned in a previous post that our husbands are a lot alike, well Marvin’s birthday is the 16th! We also ate at home and I made him my mom’s cheesecake, his favorite. He bbq’d the steaks and we had Costco scalloped potatoes, yum!! Would love to see a white shirt try on session, especially with a “cheaper” option. Look forward to your posts and your cheery disposition, thanks so much1

Those Rothy’s will continue to shrink for a while. SO MANY buy what they think is their size, and in a few days, weeks, or even months, realize they need to size up. It’s an expensive mistake. I have Taupe Heather loafers, and they are such a great neutral. Haven’t sprung for the Marigold points yet, but I am tempted. Either that or the Chili.
