Gurls, it’s officially sweater weather, (who else remembers the hilarious SNL skit?) and you know what that means—time to snuggle up in the best chunky knits for fall! I’ve found some gorgeous knitwear that will keep you warm and looking fab. What could be better than that?

These chunky knit sweaters are perfect for pairing with your favorite jeans or skirts, whether you’re running errands or cozying up by the fire. Plus, I’ve got all the tips on how to style these must-haves! Let’s dive into these cozy finds!

What Should I Look For In A Chunky Sweater?

When shopping for a chunky sweater, focus on the material—wool for warmth, cotton for breathability, and cashmere for softness. Check for an oversized fit that’s flattering, not too bulky, and choose a neckline like a cozy turtleneck or versatile crewneck. Think about style and design—solid colors for classic versatility or fun patterns like cable knit or stripes for flair. Make sure it’s comfy, soft (not itchy!), and provides the warmth you need. Lastly, pick a sweater that easily pairs with your wardrobe favorites like jeans, skirts, or dresses!

The relaxed fit means it’s perfect for layering over a cute tank or even another lightweight knit sweater when the temps drop. Pair it with jeans and boots for an effortless look that’s perfect for weekend outings. And Gurls, the neutral shade makes it super versatile—you’ll want this in your closet for sure! Remember, this is OVERSIZED, so if you want something more fitted, size down.

It’s perfect for days when you want a touch of pattern without going overboard. Plus, it’s warm but still breathable—ideal for those unpredictable fall temps. I can already picture Emersyn asking me where she can get one in her size, lol! Pair it with jeans and your favorite boots for that perfect weekend look.
