There’s nothing like throwing on a great graphic tee. They’re comfortable, a great way to show a little bit of your personality, and they go with everything from running shorts and leggings to jeans and maxi skirts! I wanted to share five of my favorite vintage graphic tees to wear and how I prefer to style them.

My Favorite Vintage Graphic Tees to Wear
Band tees give off an effortlessly cool vibe. Plus, you’re always bound to get a few comments from people you see out in public who love the same band. Just make sure you know the name of at least one of the band’s songs if you get put on the spot, LOL! This soft and comfy Queen tee comes in several different colors, but I’m wearing the light beige.
I decided to pair it with this on-trend pair of dark flare jeans and a pair of retro sneakers (you’ll learn more about the sneakers below!), but you could style this so many different ways! You could wear it over a tank dress tied into a knot, tucked into a high-waisted skirt, or under a cardigan or jacket this fall. If you don’t like Queen, you could try this colorful Fleetwood Mac tee, this Johnny Cash tee, or this fun Kiss tee!
Up next, we have this adorable Good Vibes rainbow tee. I am wearing dark gray, but it comes in a few other cute colors, like this gray leopard. Tell me this is not the quintessential errand-running outfit? Comfortable, cute, and full of personality from the tee to the shoes!
This tee is soo soft you’ll find yourself spreading Good Vibes all the time! I wore mine with a pair of joggers, but this tee is a perfect casual option that you can also wear with running shorts or your favorite denim jeans or shorts.
Speaking of joggers, I just got these Supersoft Stretch Rib Cuff Joggers, and I love them. I’ve found myself reaching for joggers over leggings lately, so I ordered a few new pairs to try. I don’t like my joggers to fit tight, so I ordered an XL, but they might be a smidge too big on me. They’re so comfortable and would make a perfect travel outfit for a road trip or a day at the airport!
If you’ve been on the fence about buying a pair of Hey Dudes, it’s time to jump over the fence and bring your feet to the comfy side of things! My feet love them, and the leopard print is to die for. I gave these to my mom when I went home for the weekend, so I ordered another pair this morning.
Aren’t we all perfectly imperfect? I know I am, and I love the reminder on this adorable graphic tee! It also comes in several other sweet sayings, like “My Hope is in Him” and “Enjoy the Little Things.” The best part is they are all under $20!
I did a fun little side knot while wearing this tee. I know many of us are used to tying our shirts up right in the center, but I think doing it on the side looks more polished. This is a great way to get a more fitted look if your tee is a little oversized or you feel like you look frumpy!
Let’s talk about these jeans! These are the Hustler Frayed High Waist Ankle Flare Jeans. I’m wearing the color Night In Paris, which has sold out, but three other colors are available. I love the frayed hem! Cropped kick flare jeans are sooo popular right now, and these will look so cute with booties in a few months.
Remember those cute retro sneakers from the first outfit? Here they are again! Aren’t they cute? They are the Zina sneaker from Dolce Vita. I grabbed them during the NSale at a great price, but many sizes are out of stock. If your size is sold out at Nordstrom, you can get them not on sale here.
This Go Get ‘Em Tiger tee is so fun, isn’t it? It’s one of my very favorite vintage graphic tees to wear. It’s fun and sassy, and I love the pop of bright pink! I’m wearing a classic hoop earring, but you could tie in the pink with your accessories by wearing a pink earring or handbag.
I kept it simple for this outfit with a great pair of quality everyday denim. I’m wearing the high-rise straight jean from J.Crew Factory in size 29. This would be a great look for a casual lunch with a friend or a day of shopping. I also think this top would look so cute with a pair of white denim with sandals or black skinny jeans with heels for a fun dressier option!
This is another top that would look cute with the side knot I used on the imperfectly perfect tee! It’s probably long enough to get by with wearing leggings, which is always a win in my book. I have mine rolled under a little in the front, so it looks a little shorter than it is.
#5 Barbie Tee
I shared about this Barbie tee last week when I talked about how to wear Barbiecore for women over 50. For those who want to jump on the Barbiecore bandwagon 🙋♀️ but don’t want to dress in head-to-toe pink, this Barbie graphic tee is the perfect solution. I wasn’t sure how the tee would look or feel, but I’m thrilled with it. The tee is soft, and the graphic logo isn’t stiff like some. There are a LOT of Barbie tees to choose from, so grab a couple for you and your friends. I added the Rose Pink Blazer to dress up the look, but I’ll probably wear the tee by itself most of the time.
If you haven’t heard, the Barbie movie is currently in theaters. Wouldn’t this be the perfect tee to wear to watch the film?! You could dress it up like I did if you’re going with all your girlfriends, or pair it with some hot pink running shorts and a sneaker for a comfy but cute look.
