I’m so excited for Spring, and all of the new arrivals that are hitting the store are so pretty. The weather here isn’t quite warm enough for short sleeves, but it is coming hard and fast. I think that Punxsutawney Phil might have been right this year, and Spring is going to come early. I did a Loft try on of new spring arrivals for 2024, and I think you’re going to like them.

Loft Try On Of New Spring Arrivals For 2024 – Peach

Peach is a trending color this year since it was named Pantone’s Color Of The Year. I’ve never thought I could wear peach near my face, so I did a post on wearing peach three ways, but on the bottom. Today, I wanted to wear a peach-colored top, so I picked this leafy printed one with a V-neck and cute sleeves.

The let down hem jeans are super cute and add a modern touch to the outfit. This is a great way to wear distressed jeans without holes. I’m wearing my usual size 29, and they fit great.

Loft Try On Of New Spring Arrivals For 2024 – Mint

Mint is another one of the Pantone Colors of the Year. Yes, they pick more than one, but Peach is the main color. I prefer vibrant colors, so all of these pastels are a challenge for me. However, I feel like it is a part of my job to bring the latest trends to your attention and to style them for you. Here is where I posted about Mint earlier this month.

You can decide if you want to participate in a trend, or you can opt out if it doesn’t suit your lifestyle, coloration, or body shape. It is cool that this garden print blouse actually combines peach and mint. You’re getting two trends in one top!

I own sooo many pairs of white jeans; I just love them. This pair is not by Loft; they are a pair from J.Jill that I bought recently. The slim leg is a great compromise for those who love skinny jeans, and they look great with flats or heels. I’m wearing them with a pair of neutral espadrilles, which is one of my favorite styles of shoes for Spring and Summer.

Loft Try On Of New Spring Arrivals For 2024 – Wide Cuffs

Trend Alert!!! Wide cuff jeans are the hottest trend in jeans! I’ve always loved a wide cuff, and I think they look great with an oversized shirt.

I usually wear a white oversized shirt with my jeans, but I decided to try this striped one instead, and I’m not sad. Lol! I think it is super cute, and I’m actually a little shocked at how much I like this look.

I do love the look of these jeans, but I didn’t pay attention that they were boyfriend jeans. I always size down when I see that in the description, but I ordered my usual size instead.

Yeah…they are way too big for me, so back they go. I’ve already got a size 27 and 28 on the way to me. I want these jeans in my closet, and I’m ordering two sizes so I can get them before they sell out.

Enjoyed seeing you “try on” new spring things! It gave me some nice ideas….Your verses at the end are the icing on the cake….Thank you! 😊

  2. Deanna Sourk says:

Can’t go wrong with anything from the Loft. Love the laid back loose look and especially like the woven bow handbag! Adding it to the lis! Allergies from the pollen have been terrible in Tampa. Never have I had such reaction that makes me feel off like this. Hope you feel better soon!

  3. I must get a couple pairs of white jeans. They are so versatile. They are really cute with your tops.

  4. I think the mint blouse looks great on you!! And of course, I love, love, love the white jeans.

I’m in-between sizes, so I ordered 2 pairs (two sizes) since they are now 30% off at J. Jill!! Whoo hoo!

Thanks as always for bringing these great choices out for us!

  5. I love the outfits with the white jeans. You look fantastic. BTW ~ McDonald’s has the best fries!

  6. Roeli Lutz (Canadian) says:

Your one pair of jeans looks like they had been too short
and the hem was let down. I do not like that looks especially
with the all the threads hanging. I first would cut the threads off,
clean them up a bit. I would have said to myself, time to get
a new pair of jeans. I maybe I am an old fuddy-duddy as I am a
    seamstress and 80. lol
    Love the blouses.
    Praying you all better again.

  7. Patti Plouff says:

I really like the both of the tops. Great colors.

  8. sue koren says:

Diet coke and fries works wonders for a hang over too!

  9. You are so adorable! I am so enjoying seeing your emails and blogs. I had just paid a clothing advisor $1000 for 5 hours of shopping/fitting. Since I found you I have bought several wonderful items, including a sweater that my friend said “you look so great tonight” and took pictures of me that are really nice. I bought the “sweater” that you said you use as a housecoat and I wear it all the time since it is still cold out and I am a bit chilly in my house. I just sent my adult daughter one too. I think you work really hard, my husband tried to do a youtube channel on what people are doing after retirement but it was too much work to do all the social media posts. So I know you word at this constantly. know there are people like me out here that love seeing your posts and are so thrilled to see clothing on a real person, and to be able to buy things from home that we love because you have filtered out options to the “good stuff.” thank you, thank you! 1. Thanks so much, Peggy! I’m so glad you found my blog, it is free, and you can spend hours on here for nothing. Lol!

  10. I hope you feel better soon. It’s a challenge to travel and feel poorly. .
Wide cuffed jeans create 2 horizontal lines which doesn’t work well for us petite, as it makes us look shorter. So you are spot on about avoiding trends that don’t work.

  11. Jeri Hoag says:

Yes! I suffer terrible pressure headaches when the storms come in here in Texas. I live outside Houston and I moved here 4 years ago and never experienced headaches like this. It’s even given me vertigo and I finally take motion sickness medicine and it helps a lot.

  12. The floral tops are very nice. Have a great visit with the family.

  13. So sorry about your headaches; I sympathize. I feel like I’m a barometer since everytime the weather changes, I get sinus headaches. Yesterday’s storm in East Tennessee was bad, we lost power for 5 hours but at least no trees fell on our property!

    1. The winds were terrible. But, at least it blew out quickly.

  14. Love the pretty peach top. It looks great on you!

  15. Hope you are feeling much better today and have a safe trip!

  16. Hi Tania,
I am sorry you are not feeling well and sending good vibes your way to feel better soon ! I love everything you posted today, especially the peach & mint garden top and the boyfriend slouchy jeans. Have fun on your family visit!
    Janna D.

  17. My second comment 😊
I love the lime colored blouse! It looks great on! Could you do a post for those of us who need to dress up for work? I work at a church and typically wear skirts and dresses but I don’t want to look frumpy because “50 IS NOT OLD!”

    1. I’ve done a few posts with Ann Taylor. That is more work attire than a lot of brands.

  18. Coincidence? I don’t think so! I literally just left The Loft! After losing 40 pounds, I need new clothes! I only had five minutes to look around 😢
I hope to go back this weekend. Thanks for the post! God bless!

    1. I don’t believe in coincidence. Everything happens for a reason.

  19. Love the mint green color and shirt! I’m going to have to think about the high cuffs though. lol.
I always had terrible headaches when it was rainy or a big weather change when we lived up north. Now we’re in the south and I don’t have that problem. Who knows!

  20. Love, love the oversized shirt and cuffed jeans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!

  21. I’ve always remembered you saying that a coke and fries from McDonalds is a fix for the “feel bads” lol. It really does help. Thanks for all the cute outfits!!

  22. So excited to see all the fresh spring colors!!

  23. I love color too! But I do like the peach and mint. Both of those shirts i would wear, but wouldn’t pick out for myself if I were shopping. I guess I need to try new things. Ha
Glad you got to go visit you parents. Mine have both passed and I’d give anything to see them.
Have a great day!!! By the way I love McDonald’s fries! 🙂

  24. Love the floral print tops. You look ready for spring and do such a good job putting outfits together.

    1. Just curious why the M is upside down on the McDonald’s cup.?

      1. I’m not sure. I wondered that too.

  25. Diane Holley says:

Feel better soon. Yes the changing weather always gets me. Love the jeans

  26. Susan Weston says:

    Beautiful!
I can’t get that adorable green poncho from yesterday’s post out of my head. Can you suggest a substitute that isn’t quite so pricy?

    1. Susan, they have lots of great sales. Sign up for their emails, and I’m sure it will be on sale soon.

  27. Love loft…and you picked some really cute outfits…definitely love the wide cuff trend…your hair looks awesome! I have a similar haircut but yours really looks great! I too suffer from air pressure change headaches….miserable…hope you feel better soon😊

  28. I love the white jeans and the green blouse a lot! Loft is one of my favorite stores.
Hope you enjoy your trip! TN is one of our favorite vacation spots!

  29. Janice Gleisner says:

Those jeans. I have to get the wide cuff jeans. And I love the oversized shirts. Loft is one of my favorite stores, so I love that you did a try on. I think I’m going to have to get the peach shirt, now that I look this all over again. Thank you!

  30. Jenniffer Groski says:

    I love the last look!

  31. I love white jeans too and the garden henley blouse is really pretty. The green is a good color for you!

  32. I love the pastels on you. Thank you for styling these options for us. I too, had a headache yesterday. There may be more to this weather. Stay positive!

  33. Cute outfits! Hope you feel better today!

  34. Sheryl Gossard says:

It’s all your fault, that I am hooked on Loft! Their clothes are sooo comfy! Thank you!🙂

    1. Lol! This makes me laugh!

  35. Thankfully I don’t have headaches related to pressure changes, but definitely causes arthritic pain. ENJOY your time with your family♥️

    1. Yikes, thankfully, I don’t have arthritis.

  36. Love LOFT and yes, weather fronts make me feel lousy too!

  37. Julie Lozano says:

Good morning Tania! I hope you’re feeling better. I totally understand weather related migraines .. I hope you’re feeling better with the Fries! Excedin, Diet Coke, and peanut butter crackers is my go-to cure. 👍🏼

Love the Loft “let down” jeans. Adorable! My mint green babydoll top from Amazon is ready for those jeans!
    You look svelte and fabulous!

    Blessings and rest.

    🌹Julie

    1. I like your “cure.”

  38. The peach and mint tops are beautiful and perfect for spring. I, too, get horrible headaches when weather fronts come rolling in. I always drink coke when it happens but have never tried French fries. Will have to give it a try! Enjoy your family visit

  39. Paula Karcher says:

Excited for spring & summer! I too also suffer from migraines when there’s a big weather change. Has headache all day yesterday.

  40. No you are not alone in the weather related headache category. I do get really bad sinus headaches that someone’s go into a 1 sided migraine. I tend to get a touch of vertigo with mine. I hope you are feeling better. I do love the white JJill jeans. Enjoy your family time!!

  41. That mint green is so pretty on you!

  42. I am with you on the weather-change or barometric change headaches…..So sorry! Thanks for sharing.

  43. Patti McDonald says:

I love all these tops! They are casual but give a “finished”- put together look. I like the peachy and mint colors too! I understand your headache issue. When the weather makes a dramatic change (pressure changes), I get the worst cold symptoms for a day and the next day it’s gone! I hope your trip goes smoothly. Enjoy McDonalds!¡

  44. I have found that the barometric pressure and cold weather tightens the neck, causes sinus headaches and stiffness. Being hydrated and using heat helps loosens the muscles. Love Loft ❤️

  45. Becky Kerwin says:

I love the colors of the year peach and mint are not my go to colors but I need more variety in my closet so I’m trying. I really wish there was a good clothing company that would carry more jeans in a petite size though!! Darn it!

  46. Stephanie Weeks says:

I have spring fever!! I love loft!!! I am looking for a utility jacket!

  47. The LOFT is one of my favorite stores and you showed some cute styles. I am a fan of the pastel tops in pretty prints and LOFT does not disappoint.

  48. The weather front that came through was no joke. We traveled from upstate SC to the coast and I had a headache all day. It’s the first time I’ve had one that nothing I took for pain relief knocked it out completely. Sorry your day was tough. Safe travels!

    1. Nothing I took helped either. Thankfully, it has moved on and it is gorgeous here today.

  49. I’ve been sick this week. It started with allergies. Then a sore throat and sinus headache. Tylenol has kept me functioning even though I don’t take the full dosage. I’ve been taking more vitamin c too. Processed food and sugar are the worse things to eat and drink when you’re sick. Thanks for the Loft try on. I like the jeans. The cuff ones look good on you because you’re tall. I like the tops but am afraid I wouldn’t like them next year. They’re a little house on the prairie.

  50. Oh wanted to ask you if you have tried Poppi drinks, the raspberry is so good, it is a probiotic drink and carbonated.

    1. No, I’ve not tired that brand before.

  51. Oh very very pretty blouses, just love them, thanks for finding us the best! Yes, I have weather related migraines, terrible, I take naratriptan a prescription from my doctor. That might help you more to have a migraine medicine. Not sure if you take anything specifically for migraines.

  52. I love ALL of those tops! I’ve been on a top-buying mission because I want some bright cheerful colors after this Winter. As far as your headaches, I’ve been getting these headaches for over 40 years. It’s actually not uncommon, and women suffer more than men, but my brother is the same. For me it’s Aleve and a Coke! I do have sinus problems from allergies too. But I can definitely predict when a big weather event is coming. Thanks for the pictures, I’m going to check out Loft!

  53. No you are not alone I get a bad sinus headache with a touch of vertigo. It’s miserable. I hope yours is all gone and you have the best time with your family. I do love the white JJill jeans!!

  54. I do the same with boyfriend style jeans

  55. I love…love…love these looks! I have the weather front changes as well. My husband keeps telling me that I should be the weather person, I am able to predict what is happening before they do…LOL. Have a safe trip!

  56. Susan Mckenzie says:

Excited about the Spring colors!! And, I totally get the weather affecting health issues. I’ve had two total joint replacements and a sudden change in barometric pressure just turns my world upside down!!!???

  57. I really like all those tops. Hope you have a safe trip and feel better.

  58. Joyce Van Koevering says:

I also get weather related health issues. I feel like I’m in a fog sometimes and yes my neck and shoulders ache. Not headaches but sinus issues as well. You are not the only one!!!

  59. Heading to Loft today. Hope you feel better
