JESUS TALKS IF WE LISTEN
Our Sunday school started the lesson plans based on the movie, The War Room, last Sunday. It is such a wonderful and inspirational movie, if you have not seen the movie, make sure you do. In the movie, Miss Clara wants to know about your prayer life? Is it hot or cold? The answer given was, not really hot but not cold either, I guess somewhere in between. A few minutes later, Miss Clara serves a cup of coffee, only it is lukewarm. Her point is, nobody likes lukewarm, you are either hot or cold.
This week, I have made a special effort to grow hotter in my prayer life. To pinpoint areas of weakness, and to ask for hep in those areas. I have also prayed to be more aware. I am a firm believer that the Lord talks to us daily. Not verbally, but through other methods, and I think we need to be aware of this and look for his guidance.
