It is Saturday, and that means it is time to do a little retail therapy. I work full time, so the only real time I get to shop, is on Saturday. I know you can go online any day, but with cooking supper, and then writing for the blog, who has time? So I have decided that every Saturday I will post the best deals I can find. It will be our own little private shopping spree. So, for all you Nascar fans, in the (adjusted) words of Darrel Waltrip, “Lets Go Shopping Gurls!”Grab you cup of coffee or tea, keep on those pajamas, and settle down with a nice cozy blanket, and get ready to play. You may not really feel like buying anything, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look and plan for your next purchase. That’s like magazines, I love to look and get ideas, even when I don’t necessarily want to buy anything. For those of you who love a good bargain, go get the credit card, because some of these items will only have quantities of 1 or 2. I’ll wait right here while you get everything ready. Hahaha
I am loving this gingham, 3/4 sleeve, button down shirt. Sizes from XS to XXL. Here is a 3/4 sleeve, fitted blazer, single button closure. Available in 7 different colors and from XS to XXL. Are we having fun yet? Are you in the market for a black leather biker jacket? This one is marked down 556.00 dollars. Incredible! It is now 139.00.
I am obsessed with linen pants. Not the dressy linen pants, but the crinkled beach type. I bought a white pair from Old Navy last year, and nearly wore them out. I wore them with dress shirts, t-shirts, and even over bathing suit bottoms. You NEED a pair of this type pants. If not any of these, then be on the look out for a different pair. I bought another pair today in a light beige color, and I am super excited about them. Here is a pair from Old Navy in two different colors, and here is a pair that is navy and white striped. This is a white pair (misses) here is the plus size.
Here is a pair of leather Sam Edelman riding boots. They are on sale 1/2 off, so if you want a pair of quality boots for next fall and winter, size 6 to 10, this is a good deal. I love the comfortable look of these navy canvas sneakers. I looked all day for a pair of white pumps for the summer. White shoes are lacking in my wardrobe. Here is a pair of Marc Fishers. I hope they get them in at the QVC outlet. If you are a fan of the boho, 70’s style, then you are going to LOVE these shoes. I love the colors, but I am not a fan of platform shoes. I have long legs, and have battled my pants being too short all my life, so the added 1-2 inches is not something I ever embraced. However, I like them on others:) These TOMS open-toes wedge sandals are perfect for shorts, pants, or a dress. You would be able to get a lot of wear from them. This T-Strap Tommy Hilfiger sandal is the type I like to wear all summer long. They are elegant and classy, yet not horribly priced.
If you don’t already have a pair of “good” sunglasses, you might want to look at these Ray Ban Wayfarer. These come in black or tortoise, and they are a classic style. This is a great deal on a leather crossbody drawstring bucket bag. I love Carlos Santana handbags. I have one that I bought 2 or 3 years ago, and I still carry it. This is a black clutch with a little edge. Perfect biker chick clutch. I think I might have to order this one. How about a “Heart of Gold” bangle bracelet? Now for today’s outfit, it was raining this morning, so it was the perfect opportunity to wear my Hunter rain boots. Here is a pair of Hunter boots in several colors, and here is a similar pair for half the price. I am still carrying my Dooney & Bourke white purse with brown trim. Here is a similar handbag. This is one of the plaid shirt’s that my daughter left me when she was home over Christmas. She bought several of them at Buckle last year, but grew tired of them. Her loss, my gain. Haha Here is a similar one from Lucky, and here is one from Old Navy.I am wearing my mid-rise rockstar skinny jeans from Old Navy. Here is a plus size pair with a little distressing. For summer, you might want a pair of crop jeans, and here is a plus size.
