HOW TO ELEVATE THE LOOK OF A TEE AND JEANS
I am getting a lot of inquiries about my weight loss. I’ve lost 24 pounds since I started on my weight loss journey. The first 20 pounds was when I joined the program, and since then, I’ve been on a maintenance program. I’m not trying to lose a lot more, three more pounds will get me to my goal weight, but I’m not stressing about that number.
I wrote an article in December (HERE) that tells what program I am using. This program restarts every eight weeks, and it is currently at week five. Once the time frame opens for enrollments, I’ll let everyone know so you can sign up if that is something that you want to do. You only pay once for this program, and then you are enrolled for life. I’ve been doing this for several months, so I know what to eat, and I don’t follow the program exactly anymore. However, if I start to gain my weight back, I can jump back on board at any time.
Most of us love wearing a pair of jeans with a tee. This look is casual and comfortable, and it is one that you can dress up if the need arises. So, today we will look at how to elevate the look of a tee and jeans.
There are many different kinds of t-shirts, and you can dress them all up. But, when you start with a tee that already has an elevated style, it makes your job much easier. This cashmere cotton blend tee looks elegant and rich even though it is a tee. I apologize for taking so long to get this on the blog; it is almost completely sold out. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me great. I did find some others to give you the same look, so I’ll link those below.
Another way to elevate the look of a tee and jeans is to add accessories. I added some feminine-looking jewelry that had a soft look to it. The Beaded Elisa Necklace and Beaded Elaina Stretch Bracelet give the outfit an elevated look that I am after. I kept my earrings simple with the addition of the Adeline Hoop Earrings, and I am always wearing my 18 Kt Gold Vermeil Cross necklace.
A completer piece elevates any outfit, but especially t-shirts and jeans. If you wonder what a completer piece is and why you should wear one, check out this post, I wrote about it in August. This Tweed Double Breasted Blazer is SHARP! The tweed material is thick and luxurious, and the blazer looks like you just walked off of a Yacht. This blazer has already sold out, but HERE is a similar one.
I couldn’t decide which handbag I liked the best with this outfit. The chalk Pebbled Leather shoulder Bag by Coach is a great size, and I love the style. The Leather Hobo Bag by Vince Camuto is in a Sandstone color, and it is a great size also. Each of these handbags has great features, but each also has a negative aspect. The Coach bag is expensive; otherwise, it is perfect. The Vince Camuto bag is not as expensive, but I’m not as fond of the style, especially the short drop of the shoulder strap. Here are a couple of other bags in chalk; these are from the Coach Outlet, so they aren’t as expensive as this one.
You might have seen me wear these jeans before. Yesterday, you saw me wear these jeans as part of my Affordable Jeans from Walmart post. These Slim Fit Trouser Jeans by Scoop are great, and I love the medium/dark shade. I’m wearing a color called Williston, and I like that it can be dressy or casual. These jeans fit true to size, and I’m wearing a size 8.
The last part of my outfit is an old pair of light tan suede loafers by Sam Edleman. I don’t wear a lot of loafers, but if I find a pair that I love, I keep them for years. These go with anything, and I found some similar ones for you.
I hope you liked today’s post. If so, PLEASE remember to pin my post on Pinterest.

I ordered these jeans from Walmart reading this post. They just arrived today. I LOVE them!!! They are soft and a perfect length. Thank you!!!’
Tania, you look incredible! Thin, tan & so young!? Love this simple outfit & think I’ll copy it for my womens luncheon today!
Oh my gosh I have really loved your blog as of late so much. Your casual dressy style with more jeans really gets my attention. Not that is all I wear but being retired and living on a golf course lends it self to a more dressy casual style and you are nailing it. Plus you look so much more comfortable and wear it so well. Congratulations on your weight loss! You look great. Having loss 24 over the last 9 months I appreciate your dedication to a healthier and happier you! Way to go Tania!
Hi girlfriend,
I haven’t been online much lately but I had to comment today after I click your bookmark by accident lol. So blond of me. You look fabulous. I know that is a difficult thing to achieve so kudos.
Lol! That made me smile, Liane! It is good to see you commenting again.
Confused, the HERE link goes to your article in December that shows meal plans, if you click on them you get Unimeal, if you click on the Facebook group you mention you get E2M Personal Training. Is there a simplier link you can provide – I am not sure I understand the Facebook page for E2M it seems to be a fitness plan where is the diet information? or do you have to become a member to find out about diet?
Alison, the article I wrote in December talks about a FaceBook group and the E2M Personal Training website. That is the program that I am doing, and yes, it is a paid program. They don’t give out the details about the food or exercises unless you are a part of the group. Here is the article I wrote:

Hi Tania, I have enjoyed your posts and encouraging Bible verses. I am 61 years young and realized I need to update my bras for added support now. Any recommendations for finding the right fit?
