CHEETAH PRINT JEANS
I got to go and watch a basketball game tonight. Emersyn was playing, and the whole thing was quite comical. The ages for the children ranged from pre-k to 1st grade, so you can imagine how well they understood the concept of the game. Emersyn scored two baskets which was great! But, the bad part was…it was on the other team’s goal. Lol! We might have to have a few more practices so that they can learn the rules. Hahaha!
I live in a very rural part of Virginia. There are mountains and valleys all over the county, so I am used to curvy and winding roads. But, the road that we took to get to the game was a whole different level. The usual road that we take to get to the gym is curvy. But, we missed a turn and ended up going across a mountain ridge that was scary curvy. The road was narrow and barely had room to pass another car, plus there were no guardrails on the side of the road. I kept thinking that no one would ever find us if we ran off the road because we were not on the right road. The joys of living in the mountains are that you also don’t have cell phone service half the time. Thankfully, Joseph has been a truck driver for our lumber company, so he eventually got his bearings, and we found our way to the school. Whew! Who knew that going to a basketball game could be so nerve-wracking.
I don’t usually wear a lot of black, but I do have a few pants that I think “need” a black top. I wish that this top would have had a v-neck instead of the round neck, but I liked the hemline enough to overcome my reservations. I am thick through my waist, so the small amount of flare at the hemline helps to create a narrower waist. This top was one that I found when I was shopping at Cato Fashions the other day, and here is the link.
Gurls! Look at my new bracelet!!! While I was in Nashville, my Energizer Bunny Friend surprised me by gifting me this beautiful Louis Vuitton Essential V bracelet. We went shopping at a large mall, and we split up with a time that we were supposed to meet back up by. My daughter and I went in a couple of stores, and then we went into the Louis Vuitton store just to sightsee. EBF was at the counter looking at some things, and as soon as she saw me walk in the store, she turned around and said, “leave.” Lol! I had no idea what she was up to, but she did get my attention. The V has special meaning to both of us, so this was a very sweet and thoughtful gift.
I have seen several versions of leopard and cheetah jeans, but these have to be one of my favorites. I like how the print is smaller spots, instead of the large spots. I found these on the sales rack at Cato, and they were only 19.99. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they fit perfectly. I found them on the website, but they are very limited in sizes. If they don’t have your size, then you might try your local store to see if they are in stock. Here is the link to the pants.
I have no idea why I decided to do this silly pose when I was taking pictures, but I thought that you might need a laugh; so I decided to include it today. By the way, I know that you are used to following us bloggers, and you understand that when we link to clothing that we earn a small commission from the stores. That is one of the ways that we can pay for out website fees, hosting fees, etc. However, that is not always the case with me. In fact, there is not a single item that I linked to in today’s post that I am earning a commission on. Instead, I am merely showing you a cute outfit that you can purchase at a great price point.
I am trying to grow my Instagram, so if you do not already follow me, please do that by clicking here. Remember to sign up for my daily emails. Thanks so much for following me on my blog. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
Loving this on you!! I have those exact same jeans!!❤️❤️
I am 70 years young and love to dress in a stylish manner but appropriate for my age! I wear the skinny jeans/pants, ankle boots with and without the peep toes, coordinated jewelry, etc. and I guess you get the picture! I love this outfit and your hair! I always look forward to reading your blog each day and especially your cute stories that you choose to share with your followers! Thanks for sharing a little piece of your life with us! Have a great weekend!
Brenda, you sound like my type of lady!!! Thanks for following, and for taking the time to leave a comment.
Tania,
I have been following your blog for a long time and you have such a good sense of fashion! You also have a great sense of humor which makes me laugh often?. The remark from Susan Cabrera was awful! Susan evidently was not taught “If you have nothing to say, don’t say nothing at all”☹️ Have a great weekend Tania.
Love the necklace! Can you share the link?
Cute outfit & love to hear your stories. I would love to see that curvy mountain road it would be a change from coastal Texas! Ignore the rude comment and know that your fans love you!
Karen, I wish that I could, but the necklace is a retired piece that was only sold one month. I am crossing my fingers that it will be back one day because it is one of my favorites.
Agreed Brenda! Tania you handled the negativity well. None of us ever stay the same nor should we. We learn and grow as styles change. I never usually comment but thanks for all you do. Always enjoy your blog Tania!!
Love your outfit today I am wearing the same today and you got yours for a great price love me some Cato’s clothes.

Love your silly pose! We girls just wanna have fun, right? Today’s post was perfect for me – I already have a very similar top & the peep-toes booties; now I just have to get to work on the cheetah-print pants. You always brighten my day, Tania!
Love the outfit–you wear it wonderfully! Hair looks great!
I have a Catos across the highway from me but I’ve never been in there. I’ll have to check it out. I love the top but v necks are my thing too so I’d probably skip it a,though it looks amazing with those pants and boots. I want those boots. Great look!
You look so cute! Love the outfit today!!!
Thanks, Robin! I am glad that you liked the outfit.
Love, love, love this outfit♡♡♡ Your story about your granddaughter scoring was one most all of us can relate too. I love when kids are young enough to play, just for fun!!
It is fun to watch them play. But, it also drives me nuts that they have no idea what they are doing. Lol!
Love the pants, I think I’ll check out Cato today. And your hair looks better then it ever has!!I like the black top but I need something with a v as well so my boobs don’t look so huge. Lol

Thanks, Mary. I hope your weekend is great also!
That’s so cute that Emersyn made baskets for the other team. My 8 yr old granddaughter, Zoe did the same thing when she was Emersyn’s age, only with soccer, she made two goals for the other team ;-D
I love black on you and I love your new haircut too…Be*you*t*full
Please look at your posts from 2 years ago. Your outfits and hair were much better. Lately you have been missing the mark on both hair and clothes. I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings. But you are selling yourself as knowledgeable.
Susan, you did not hurt my feelings. You have an opinion, just like everyone else. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
