The weekend is here, and I am ready for rest and relaxation. I am ready for it, but that is not what is going to happen. Joe and I are leaving town on Sunday to go to the beach for a few days. We had a vacation scheduled for late July, but we ended up changing the date to this coming week instead. I hope the weather is nice enough for us to enjoy the ocean and the pool still while we are there.
I just got my suitcase unpacked, and all of my clothes washed, and now it is time to pack again. Lol! Also, I am having a small event later today with my EBF, daughter, and daughter-in-law, so I have to get ready for that. I am already starting to fret over what I will be packing so that I can take pictures while I am at the beach. I have been lax in taking my photos, so I don’t have a surplus of ones to use. I may go to some of the stores while I am there and do a try on of clothing. But, even though Joe has a lot of great attributes, photo-taking is not one of them. Lol! He doesn’t have the patience, and he forgets to make sure that I am in focus or to make sure that I don’t have trash cans in the background. Haha! This coming week could be interesting.
Saturday is all about casual and cozy, in my opinion. I will dress up for my event, but then something like this outfit is what I will wear for the rest of the day. This crewneck sweatshirt is super soft, and I have worn it multiple times since I bought it. I chose to buy a large so that it would be oversized and slouchy. The only thing that I would have liked different is the length of the top. It would have been the perfect Saturday sweatshirt if it had been longer. I love the tie-dye print, which is still very popular these days. I bought this top at Victoria Secrets, and the top comes in several different colors. Click here to check out the top.
Well shucks, my shorter circle necklace didn’t show up in this photo. I showed you a bracelet yesterday that my EBF bought me last week, (here) so I wanted to show you what I bought for myself as a splurge gift. When we went to the shopping mall last week, one of my good friends asked me if I could run by a store and pick up so packages that she had bought online. I said that I would, so she called the store and told them that I would be picking up the gifts. The store was Tiffany’s, and while I was waiting on the ladies to get the packages from the back room, I did a little shopping. I bought the 1837 circle pendant for a few reasons. I love the simple design, and a circle is something that I am drawn to for a lot of reasons. It reminds me of unity, completion, infinity, and perfection. You see a circle, but I see so much more. Here is the link to the necklace if you want your own pendant. The other necklace also features a circle; it is a lariat style cross necklace from Premier Designs that I bought from a blog reader.
I like my cuffed jeans, but I read somewhere that the “cuff” look might be going out of style. I don’t care, I still like the look, especially in the summer. Plus, these jeans have the cuff tacked up so that they don’t roll down, and they will be great to even slide inside my knee boots this fall and winter. Style is about what you like, not what someone tells you to wear. As my daughter is always telling me, “you do you!”
I know that most of you are not local to me, so you can’t attend my event tomorrow. I would love to be able to meet all of you in the future, that would be awesome. If you are interested in learning about R+F, now is a great time. They just announced some great bonuses for those who join R+F beginning October 1st. You have the opportunity to earn over 5,000 in cash, or 2,500 plus a trip to Mexico. A lot of bonuses are out of reach and too hard to accomplish, but not this one. R+F is even going to help you achieve these bonuses by giving you a 90-day getting started program and also giving you a person to hold your hand that can guide you through the process and answer any questions that you might have. I love that this company wants to help you succeed! I am going to either have a ZOOM call or a Virtual Event on Monday, September 30th that will answer any questions that you might have. No Pressure, no obligations, just answers. Let me know if you are interested in attending, and which avenue works best for you. My email is [email protected]
