Do you hear the clock ticking? Time is running out if you have not started your Christmas shopping. I like to shop local if possible. I also like buying from those who sell items from their home. Like me with my Plunder and Rodan and Fields, there is also the LuLaRoe ladies, Tupperware, Avon, Stella and Dot, Mary Kay, and much more. These ladies all support families and can use the commission.
What do you wear when you are going to be running around town? I am passed that stage where I have to run the kids to school or to a practice of some kind. Whew, I can remember having to take them to two different schools in the morning and in the afternoons they had two separate practices. Ashleigh is two years older than Joseph so there was a time where it took forever to get them to the school in the morning.
Is age really just a number? Does it matter that we are slowly creeping toward sixty or maybe even seventy? I firmly believe you are only as old as you act. While that may not change the actual number of years you have lived on this planet, it will change the way in which you have lived those years. I am sure my life here in small town Virginia is very different from some one of my age living in the bright city lights, does that make either life better? I have found myself looking for my passion. What do I love? What would I do if I had all the money I would ever want? Would I travel, would I paint all day, or would I simply go shopping day after day? The truth is, I DON’T KNOW!!! That leads me to this blog. I decided to blog, not because I think I have a unique perspective, but because I am trying to find my perspective. So bear with me as I ramble about being over weight, having hot flashes, putting on makeup with the pitfalls of wrinkles, and finding clothes that don’t scream nursing home or hoochie mama.
