Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer

Spring may be for cleaning, but Summer is for updating! As a woman who’s been known to keep Christmas trees up all year long, this blog post is for me, lol. It doesn’t have to cost much to make things brighter and more seasonal. Today, I’m sharing affordable ways to update your home for summer. I’ve blogged about some home decor ideas before.

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer – Wreaths

Decorating for the summer doesn’t have to be complicated. A wreath is a great way to welcome in Summer. This wreath is not only stunning but also comes with a hassle-free setup. It arrives compactly but fluffs up to a full 20 inches. The included welcome sign can be attached for that extra special touch, making it a practical yet beautiful update for your summer home refresh. I think it would look great with our without the sign.

Brighten up your home with the Soomeir Hydrangea Wreath—it’s like a burst of summer right on your door! It’s got hydrangeas, peonies (my personal FAVE), and roses in super vibrant colors that really stand out. Plus, it’s sturdy and easy to hang anywhere you like, from your door to your balcony!

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer – Doormat

Spruce up your entryway with this cheery doormat—it’s perfect for giving your front door a fresh, summery feel! This mat features stylish eucalyptus leaves and is made from durable, non-slip material that’s easy to keep clean. That’s always a PLUS. Just right for any spot from your front door to your patio, it’s a great way to welcome guests all year round!

This is a doormat for your doormat! Put your new cheery doormat right on top. This rug is not only stylish with its crisp stripes but also super durable and easy to clean, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Toss it in the wash or give it a quick vacuum, and it’s good as new!

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer

Is there any color more cheerful than yellow?! Add a splash of summer to your living space with these cheerful watercolor daisy pillow covers! They’re a bright yellow that really pops, perfect for adding a sunny touch to any room. Plus, they’re made from soft, skin-friendly linen, so they feel as good as they look. Just slip them over your existing pillows—easy peasy!

Here’s a great rug for adding a POP of color to your patio! Not only is it pretty, it’s perfect for any space that gets a lot of foot traffic because it’s made to handle stains, weather, and even UV rays without losing its color. Plus, it’s super easy to clean—just vacuum it or give it a quick hose down. Perfect for busy households!

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer – Bedspread

Summer decor doesn’t have to be bright! White is a great base color for summer. You can add any color of pillows to give it pop if you don’t love the simplicity vibe. This quilt set is super light and breathable, perfect for using all year round. Plus, it comes in a classic chevron pattern that’s really easy to match with any room style, making it a great way to give your space a quick and stylish update! Comes in several other colors, too.

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer – Kitchen

The kitchen is another great place for a summer update. How cute are these lemon dish towels? They’re not only sweet with their bright, lemony print, but also super absorbent for all your kitchen needs—whether you’re drying dishes or wiping up spills. Plus, they’re soft and durable, so you can wash them again and again without a worry!

Brighten up your kitchen or even your bathroom with these cute Watercolor Wildflowers Hand Towels. These have a pretty grey and yellow flower design but there are other color combinations at the link in tones of purple, blue and red. Plus, it won’t scratch your cookware!

Affordable Ways To Update Your Home For Summer – Dining

Finally, freshen up your dining room table with a new, summery tablecloth! I love this classic buffalo check version. Notice the fun tassels around the edges? Imagine a vase with some gorgeous fresh flowers on this table – lovely! It’s also available in black and white which would look amazing with some white table accessories.

Bright yellow is my accent color in my kitchen. Our front door is painted bright yellow, the cushions in our rockers on the front porch are yellow, and an antique metal chair and glider are painted yellow with white accents. The bright yellow makes me smile and is definitely a pick me up color. The grey and yellow hand towels are calling my name.
