Tableware
These fabric napkins are going to be such a cute addition to a Thanksgiving tablescape! Whether it’s Thanksgiving or a regular dinner, they add a nice, classic touch without feeling too fancy. They’re soft and sturdy, so you can use them again and again.
These placemats are simple, yet elegant with a lovely neutral tone that fits right in with fall decor. They’re easy to dress up or keep casual, so they’re perfect for any type of table setting!
Napkin rings are a little touch that makes a big difference! I really like the warm tones of these wooden ones, and they’re going to look so cute paired with the napkins I shared above.
Serving Items
This gold flatware set is so pretty and adds a hint of glam to the table. It’s elegant without being over the top. You could use them every day or just pull them out on special occasions!
How pretty is the elegant gold rim on these wine glasses?! They’re not just great for Thanksgiving but also for Christmas and the New Year. They come in a pack of four, but they’re affordable enough that you can grab another set or two to accommodate your entire crew!
I love this Acacia wood bowl! It’s got a warm, natural look that’s perfect for serving up salad or rolls. You could also use it as a fruit bowl, or put some decorative balls or pumpkins in it!
Dishes
If you’re in the market for a new dinnerware set before hosting a big Thanksgiving meal, this is a great option! The black and white design is going to look great with any home decor, and the leaf design is absolutely perfect for Thanksgiving.
Here’s a serving bowl with the same beautiful leaf design! It’s big enough to hold a yummy side dish, and it even comes with serving utensils. It’s super affordable, too. I can’t believe it’s under $15!
Pillows
Now that we’ve covered how to update your dining room for Thanksgiving with Walmart, let’s talk about how you can add some fall touches to your home decor. Walmart has lots of pieces that are going to make your space look both cozy and inviting, like this plaid pillow.
Speaking of pillows, check out this one! This rust is the perfect pop of fall color. Picture it on an accent chair, tossed on the couch, spread across the bed, or tucked into a window seat—it adds such a warm, inviting feel wherever you put it. Perfect for that extra bit of cozy!
Candleholders
This candle holder comes in two sizes, and can be used year-round! It’ll add a touch of class to any room, no matter the season. It also comes in a stunning amber glass or a dark smoky gray color.
This wooden candle holder fits just about anywhere—on the fireplace, bookshelf, nightstand, you name it! It adds a warm, natural touch wherever you put it. It comes in two different sizes, and you can buy them separately or as a set.
If you’re looking for the perfect dining table centerpiece, this candle holder has you covered! I hate a big centerpiece that blocks me from seeing all of my guests, and this one is short enough that it doesn’t block anyone’s view. Plus, aren’t those fall florals gorgeous?
This throw is a dream—super soft and warm with a cozy striped pattern. It’s perfect for cuddling up under with a good book and a cup or tea, or for adding a little texture to the back of a chair or couch or to the end of your bed!

The dinnerware is so pretty!
I shopped at Walmart today for Thanksgiving tableware….. paper plates, plastic cups and plastic utensils!! Taking the easy route this year. Mama is getting old and doesn’t have a dishwasher!
I think a dishwasher is one of man’s greatest invention!
Nice items. I buy a lot of my home goods and decorations at Walmart. I agree with you about just calling a color what it is. I recently ordered wide leg corduroy pants from Loft. I thought the color was going to be dark gray because that’s how they looked on the screen. The color turned out to be a real dark pine green. Who calls dark green “dark vapor”. I kept the pants because the color is pretty and the pants are comfortable and soft.
Very nice decor. Great prices too!
I’ve gotta say, Walmart is really great right now. I love all of your picks, not only for Thanksgiving, but for all fall! Thanks for all your hard work!
Walmart has some cute serving pieces.
By Thanksgiving, my house is decorated for Christmas, but I love the wooden candle holders and the soft throw. Those would be great pieces for my fall decor.
You have given us some wonderful and reasonably priced ideas for Thanksgiving.
And your glass collection is beautiful and unique.
Great post, getting the napkins! I know this isn’t your forte’ but could you show us some centerpieces for the Thanksgiving table, please! Really having trouble with this.
That sounds like a wonderful post.
Pretty! Walmart has really improved on fashion & decor!🍁
Love Thanksgiving and Walmart has such wonderful options! Thanks for the info!
Great ideas! We don’t do much for Thanksgiving as my children live far away, and I travel for Christmas to see them, so it’s just my husband and me. I still decorate for Thanksgiving though!
Very nice things!
Great finds for Thanksgiving decorating. Thank you.
