How cute is this jacquard white dress? The navy and green trimmed pockets add visual interest, and who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? This dress gives me tennis dress vibes, and I think it would look so cute with white sneakers for a casual look. I’m wearing a medium, and the dress is still roomy and relaxed fitting.

This linen shirt dress, with its lace design, can be dressed up or down. The white belt can be removed, and the dress is worn loosely for an easy/peasy style. You could add a rafia belt for a beachy look, a red or navy belt for a nautical theme, or a black belt for a preppy look. This dress is one you’ll find yourself wearing a lot this summer. And it has pockets, too!

I love all of the feminine details on this white belted shirt dress, like puffy sleeves and a fun pom pom trim running along each tier. I ordered a size medium, and it fits really well! I am a big fan of the midi length on myself. It’s not so short that it shows off the parts of the legs that a lot of us are self-conscious about (like cellulite or crepey knees), but it also doesn’t scream Little House on the Prairie, LOL!

The midi length is my favorite dress length. It’s not too long that I’m tripping over it, and short enough to keep my legs cool on warm days. I own this midi dress is hot pink in a large (you can see me wearing it here), and I love it! I usually pair mine with a rattan belt and a pair of wedges or block heels.

I own a version of Anthropologie’s Somerset Dress, and I am obsessed with it. It gives me curves and makes my waistline appear smaller than it is. I knew I had to share their shirt dress edition when I saw it! I like that this version has a little longer of a sleeve, offering even more arm coverage.

I know some of my readers are not big fans of midi and maxi length dresses. If you prefer a knee length dress, you’ll love this one from Chico’s. The diagonal button front is an unexpected twist that makes it so unique.

Sleeveless White Dresses

I’ve been on a big Lands’ End kick lately ever since I stocked up on their swimsuits for the summer! This sweet little smocked dress is so darling! I love the flutter sleeves, but you could easily add a denim jacket or a sweater if the night is cool or you prefer to hide your arms.

This linen dress from Tommy Bahama is a great example of how a white dress is a blank canvas! It would be so fun with a colorful handbag or statement earrings, or you could even add a pop of color with a heel or sandal. The feminine ruffle collar really elevates the look of this shift dress, and linen is a great fabric for hot summer days.

This flowy tiered maxi dress from Boden has an airy, oversized fit, and is made from two layers of cotton. This means it’s as comfortable as it is chic! I would throw on a strappy sandal with a straw tote for an effortless summer outfit, but you could also go with a sneaker or a Birkenstock and a belt bag.

You gurls know I love trying out different products from Spanx. Reviewers say the fabric on this tie-waist tank dress is fantastic… soft and sooo flattering! Plus, you can wear it with or without the belt.

Eyelet is trending, and I’m seeing it absolutely everywhere! I love the added visual interest and the dainty, feminine feel that the eyelet detailing gives to this shirtdress from Talbot’s. It also comes in a pretty purple if you aren’t in the market for a white dress!

I love dresses in the summer because they make it so easy to get dressed! This linen maxi dress just needs a cute handbag and a comfortable sandal and voila…. you have constructed the quintessential, effortless summer outfit!

One-Shoulder White Dresses
