The fashion trends this fall are all about the poncho and of course, fringe. The 70’s boho style is everywhere. Flared jeans, maxi dresses, poncho’s, fringe, and denim and suede are all making a huge comeback. This look has it all, well, except the maxi dress.
This past Monday, I participated in my first Shoe and Tell linkup with Style Nudge. On Sunday night I took pictures of my shoes, and wrote my blog. When Monday morning arrived, I brought up the website and was thrilled when I saw the theme of her post. It was leopard! I think I might be telepathic. Or maybe tele-pathetic, I’m not sure which. LOL
For my first Shoe and Tell linkup, I am featuring a pair of Sole Society leopard flats.
I am super pumped to join this linkup, I love Style Nudge. I have never been a “shoe” person. In fact, I used to only have one black, one brown, and one blue pair of shoes. If one of those pairs got old, I simply replaced it. It has only been in the past 4 or 5 years that I have been purchasing shoes that are not just the basics. So, for me to be in a linkup showcasing shoes is a big deal.
Follow my blog with BloglovinHappy Monday everyone! Today is Makeup Monday and while the product I am reviewing it not technically a makeup product, it is a beauty product. I assume, (really hope) that most of you shave your legs, and we might as well make it as comfortable and painless as possible.
It’s a rainy Sunday here in the mountains, and nothing is more beautiful. I love going out on my porch in the mornings (while Beckley does his business) and just looking up in the mountains, especially in the fall. The leaves are just starting to change, but they will soon be all the brillant colors that are in my skirt.
Gray is sometime thought of as a boring color. However, I found this website called Sensational Color that says otherwise. According to the website,
“Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as classic, refined, dignified, and conservative. Gray is a perfect neutral that lives between the extremes of black and white.”
Wow, I knew I liked this color, it fills me with knowledge and refines me at the same time.
TGIF!!! Friday is here! Yes, I survived another week. Unfortunately I woke up with a sinus headache, ear ache, and a sore throat. I rubbed on a little melaleuca essential oil, and am feeling some better. I am crossing my fingers that it is not going to turn into the first cold of the season.
My first two part post! Yay, go me. When I started looking in my closet for black or brown items, it was a little overwhelming. I just noticed how many black pants I own, let’s just say I might be a hoarder. I think I might need an intervention. Are you guilty of hanging on to clothing that might be a size, or maybe two sizes, too small. There is always a chance that I might lose twenty pounds. What? There’s a chance. I swear!
I have never given much thought about wearing black and brown together. I just assumed that if a leopard looked that good wearing black and brown, I could too. This is what I wore to work last Monday.
Mustard is one of the “hot” colors this fall. It is in all the stores, and I couldn’t be happier. I love this color! It works so well with most shades of blue and looks great with black. Here I decided to wear it with a new pair of pants I bought Saturday.
