Today is the last day of my Valentine’s Day series. It has been a long time since I did a series, but if you enjoyed this one, be sure to comment that you would like to see more in the future. This last day is dressier than the others. These outfits can be worn for work, as a church outfit, appointments, or any time you want to look a little nicer. Get ready for three outfits that would be great for Valentine’s Day date night or Galentines.

What To Wear For Valentine’s Day Date Night Or Galentines – Satin Skirt

What is Galentine?

If you have never heard of a Galentine, don’t feel bad since it is a recent holiday that came about because of a television show. Parks and Recreation aired a show back in 2011 about “The One That Got Away,” and Leslie threw a Galentine event the day before Valentine’s Day for female friends. The show was a hit, and in 2017, the stores and social media started promoting the holiday. Now, on February 13, Galentine’s Day, a nonofficial holiday, is celebrated as a day for “ladies celebrating ladies.”

You know I like versatile clothing, so I picked items you will be able to wear for more than just Valentine’s Day. I get it, not everyone goes out to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but most of us need a nice outfit for a special occasion. This Boat Neck Dolman Sweater is a stunner! It fits so nice, and manages to be roomy and fitted at the same time. You can pull it down for a longer tunic look, but I liked the blouson effect with the leopard skirt.

This Heart Clutch Purse might be the cutest accessory I’ve shown so far. It is absolutely adorable and would be perfect for anyone attending a wedding. It is also available in black, navy, and purple incase red isn’t a color you want to carry.

I added the Ashton Gold Pearl Heart Statement Earrings that were c/o Kendra Scott. These swoon-worthy earrings can be worn more than just for Valentine’s Day. I LOVE these earrings, but they are more expensive than the other earrings I’ll link to. There is a smaller version that is a little less expensive, and they are available in white, red, or pink.

This Leopard Print Skirt is a silky/satin style skirt and would be great for any occasion. It features an elastic waist, so it is comfortable to wear. You know I love leopard print, but the skirt is also available in several colors and prints.

What To Wear For Valentine’s Day Date Night Or Galentines – Feather Trimmed Pants

Before you keep scrolling, don’t let the feather feature on the pants scare you. They are removable, and the pants are machine washable.

The Tie Sleeve Top is by CeCe, which is one of my favorite brands. Their clothing is of nice quality, and it is flattering with a hint of a feminine vibe. The v-neck creates a longer, leaner neck, and the ties at the cuffs are a great detail.

I’ve had this Ostrich Feather Embellished Clutch for a while. It is a showstopper, and I always get asked about it when I carry it somewhere. I keep it in the clear plastic bag it came in to keep the feathers from getting ruffled. No one likes ruffled feathers. Lol!

The double-heart crystal earrings are lightweight and look great for Valentine’s Day. Like the heart clutch above, they would look wonderful for a wedding, bridal shower, or anniversary.

These High Waist Feather Hem Pants are so versatile! They are lightweight, so you can wear them all year round. Because the feathers are removable, it is like getting 2 pairs of pants in one. One that is a statement item, and one that can be a workhorse type piece.

What To Wear For Valentine’s Day Date Night Or Galentines – Satin Dress

I like combining affordable clothing with more expensive items. Can you believe this outfit is from Walmart?

The Faux Suede Double Breasted Trench Coat Jacket is a nice weight trench, and I love the hot pink color. It isn’t too vibrant, but it is bright. The faux suede material is soft and subtle, and the buttons add a nice touch. This classic style trench is also available in a bunch of colors, and runs true to size.

I’ve carried Dooney & Bourke handbags for a long time. I found this Ecru colored bucket bag on sale for 40% off at Nordstrom Rack, and I knew it would be great for this spring and summer. This is a fantastic neutral, and it will look great with almost everything I’ll be wearing.

The heart hoops are versatile and lightweight. They are one of six pairs that are part of the Valentine’s Day Earrings.

Now for the Sleeveless Midi Slip Dress! The dress is by Free Assembly, and if you’ve ever purchased any items from that brand, you know they are usually great quality. I’m always surprised at the thickness and weight of the items I get from them, especially for the price point. I read that this dress runs small, so I ordered a medium and a large. I only tried the large, and since it fit, I didn’t even bother trying the medium on. The straps are adjustable in the back, which creates a nice view if you don’t plan of wearing a cardigan or jacket.

The dress is very silky and flowy and is a gorgeous dress for a dressy occasion. Sizes are limited, so I hope you are able to get one before it completely sells out.

More Looks For Valentine’s Day Date Night Or Galentines

Going out for dinner to celebrate with someone you love? This red dress from Nordstrom is perfect! I love the flirty sleeves and the feminine neckline. Maybe your date will add something sparkly to go there! lol. I think the pleated hip would be very flattering on most women.

Here’s a little more formal dress from Tahari. This satin shirt dress is a fake wrap, which I prefer. No gapping issues to grapple with. I think V-necks are flattering on most people but you do have to make sure they don’t plunge too deep. If you’re in between sizes, I’d size down. Or you can have a pretty lacy bralette, in case.

Here’s a fun and flirty skirt to wear on Valentine’s Day or any date night! Pair it with a pretty black sweater and some boots, and you’re ready to hit the town. Tulle is very big right now, and there are some very feminine looks at the link. There’s a black and white version that’s very elegant. Depending on whether or not they’re on sale, around $50 dollars.

I did like most of the outfits you styled. I thank you for styling the Loft T-shirt with amour written on it. I’m supposed to get it soon. I like that I can wear it after Valentine’s. 41. I really liked your Valentines series. You gave us many options for all scenarios. Perhaps you would do this again for St. Patrick’s Day? ☘️

  42. Rhoda Clark says:

Well, since I live near Houston, Texas and am an avid fan of our Texans, I will be glued to my tv, watching what I hope will be a winning game for our beloved Texans. The past few years have been difficult, to say the least, for us and it looks like we are in a much better, positive time.
Whether we win today or not, considering where we started, we are still way beyond what anyone expected.
So my entire weekend will be spent watching the playoff games. I sincerely hope that all games are played well, with no injuries and very little penalties. Go Texans!
