What I Bought At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Pt. 1
I love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I always travel to Atlanta to meet up with my sister, niece, and a good friend. We always have a blast, laugh way too much, and fill my vehicle to the brim with clothing. Come along with me today as I show you what I bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
I like to start off with one of my favorite outfits. Each outfit is special in its own way, but this is one that I can see myself wearing a lot!!! Don’t be fooled by the description of the t-shirt; I didn’t think it was cropped at all.
The Mother jeans fit great, and I loved the wide-leg style. I paired them with a pair of Blondo waterproof booties with a chunky heel.
You might not believe it, but this zip cardigan was the hit of the day! Several of us bought this, and I even had a stranger ask to try it on once she saw it hanging in my dressing room. I kept on the waterproof booties and changed into a pair of flare jeans by Paige. I sized down one size in the jeans and the cardigan.
I found a couple of gorgeous fall dresses. This sweater set (sold separately) is a great neutral. The cropped cardigan will look great with jeans, and I could wear the skirt with the white crop tee and a denim jacket.
I didn’t think I would love this Faux Leather Shirtdress, but I was sooo wrong. I love the color, and it fits me like it was made for me. It looked like it was pulling in the breast area, so I tried on a larger size. That large one looked the same but was too loose in the body, so I ended up buying this one.
I paired the faux leather dress and cable knit sweater set with these gorgeous dark caramel knee high boots. The boots have a tortoiseshell look, and are also available in suede.
This is the last outfit for the day, but be sure to tune in tomorrow for pt. 2. Since I started with one of my favorite outfits, I thought I would end with one, too. I have been wanting to try jeans by Rag and Bone, so I tried the Ankle Straight Leg Jeans. I think they run a tad big and I needed to size down to a 28, but the store didn’t have that size in stock.
I wanted to pair the jeans with a small heel, so I added these plaid Kitten Heel Pointed Toe Slingback Pumps from Sam Edelman. They are super cute in person, and I had several people ask about them.
Last year, I bought the Short-Sleeve Wool and cashmere sweater in black and burgundy. I have worn both of those several times, so I grabbed the charcoal this year. I thought it looked great with the Allington Tote and Celine Square Sunglasses. Even though I loved the sunglasses, I didn’t buy them. I am too careless with my sunglasses and tend to misplace them. Since they are not cheap, I decided not to take the risk.

The leather dress looks very nice on you. I find that sometimes when my 34F chest pulls a little in a dress, trying a different bra fixes the problem. It’s funny how having the girls arranged a little differently in a different brand or style of bra changes the fit of my clothing. Maybe one of your other bras will stop your new dress from pulling at the chest. Good luck!

Would you believe that I have never attended a Nordstrom
sale in person? The crowds are overwhelming and I don’t like to wait for a waiting room. So I stick to shopping online and you showed some really cute things.
I stick to ordering online also. Nordstrom is not near me, and I only travel to the store once a year so I can try on the clothing in store during the NSale.

Are you talking about shoes? I always default to a neutral shoe. The one’s with clear straps are still popular, and they work with everything.
