Since it’s officially time to swap out our summer sandals for some cozy and stylish closed toe shoes, I decided to round up 8 pairs of trending shoes for fall. These shoes are all the rage right now, and I’m seeing them absolutely everywhere all over social media apps like Pinterest and Instagram. From cute ankle boots to comfortable sneakers, this list of shoes is sure to help you step up your shoe game for the rest of 2023!

#1. Birkenstock Boston Clogs
Birkenstock Boston Clogs in this beige shade is super popular – seriously, everyone is loving them right now! They’re the perfect shoe for anyone who wants to be both comfy and stylish. No matter your age or style, these shoes will be a great addition to your fall rotation. The tan is incredibly hard to find from the Birkenstock brand, but there are some great look-alikes I’ve linked for you on Amazon so you can get the look for less.
#2. On Cloud Tennis Shoes
When it comes to sneakers, On Cloud is always at the top of the list. I love the neutral coloring of this pair, but you can choose from the different color combinations available. These sneakers are great for running or walking, but they also look cute with leggings, jeans, and shorts. I know many different women also love wearing them to work, especially in hospital or school settings, because they keep their feet so comfy all day long.
#3. Lace Up Boots
These boots are so fun and unique! I recently saw a celebrity wearing this style of boot, so I thought I would give it a try. I will say this style of boots is a little out of the box for me, but I’m liking them! These are by Coach, so you know they are a quality product. They just arrived, and here is a photo of them in person.
While I already had these coming, I decided they needed a friend. So, I bought this pair too!
#4. UGG Tasmin Indoor/Outdoor Shoe
These are apparently the must-have “house-shoes” this year! I say house-shoes in quotation marks because I have seen ladies wearing them out in public running errands. Since they are made with a thick, grippy sole, you can wear them indoors or outdoors. They would be sooo cozy paired with leggings and an oversized sweater or sweatshirt for a lazy Saturday around the house. The UGGs retail for over $100, but if you want the quality for half the price, then check out this pair that looks identical.
#5. Adidas Gazelle
Sneakers are still so popular right now, so several different pairs made today’s list of trending shoes for fall! I love the low profile of these shoes from Adidas. I would pick these to pair with jeans or a dress over the On Clouds because they are less of an athletic shoe and more of a sneaker. I tend to pick neutral colors so I can pair them with multiple outfits, but these are available in some really fun colors like lavender, light green, and a peachy blush.
#6. Western Booties
Western style booties are making an appearance again this year, and I have to say that I am a fan. Imagine a classic bootie and a cowboy boot had a baby, and the baby is this adorable pointy-toed shoe! This pair is from Walmart. You’ll be shocked at how affordable they are, and reviews sing their praises about how cute and comfortable they are. I have the cognac color pictured here, but the light tan version is so chic and pretty!
I also have these Tall Western Boots from Walmart. They’ve sold out once before, but they are back in stock.
#7. Kizik Slip-On Sneakers
If you hate bending over and fighting to put your shoes on, you’ll love these slip-on sneakers from Kizik, as they are comfortable, convenient, and hands-free! These would be a great gift for someone who struggles with mobility issues or back/neck pain, as they can just slide their foot right in without any pulling or tugging!

Bought a pair of New Balance runners. They are wide enough for my feet and very comfortable.
I love New Balance sneakers especially the retro one so cute. I am interested in getting a pair of birk clogs. we see if I can fit them in the budget.

You are right, the Birkenstock ‘clogs’ are back in fashion. I bought my daughter a pair when she was in college, and they lasted 17 years. A great value! She is asking for a new pair for Christmas.

I’m on my feet for 12 hours and I heard this brand will not disappoint. Also Love the retro look of the new balance. I know Birkenstocks are super trendy but I find them uncomfortable.

OOOH you hit a weak spot. I am in Texas visiting my sister and saw those camel western booties come in beige and match a pair of embroidered jeans I just bought. I ordered and am picking them up from Walmart after I fly home. They are a steal! Thanks for doing all the leg work for us… pun intended!

I help keep Birkenstock’s in business (I currently own 14 pairs). The western boots from Wal-Mart look great! I also like the UUG’s but I’m wondering if they have arch support.
Lol! Ginger, that is too funny. I can say that I don’t own a pair of Birkenstocks. 😲 The UGGs I own don’t have arch support, or nothing like my HOKA recovery slides anyway.
