The Reputation Era aesthetic is leather, black, snakeskin, basically, anything that says I’m bad to the bone, so don’t mess with me. Don’t worry; I won’t have you in short black miniskirts with snakeskin high-heel boots. I’ve got you covered!

I have an old argyle sweater set almost identical to this pattern. That sweater set is one of my favorites, but it no longer fits me. So, when I saw this V-NECK ARGYLE CARDIGAN, I immediately placed my order for it and the matching sweater vest.
See? These faux-leather leggings are chic and elegant! These ponte pants from JJill are very flattering and would be great for work or weekends! Pair it with a great top or sweater, and hit the door. They are 70% viscose and have an elastic waistband to add to the comfort level.
Ann Taylor is rocking the Reputation Era looks! Look how elegant this faux leather pencil skirt is. This would work for the office or the upcoming holidays. I think these pointed-toe heels look great with it, but you could also wear boots, both ankle booties and taller versions.

I LOVE this peplum top. This is a shirt that can be dressed up or down. Pair it with jeans and cute flats or a pair of skinny pants and booties. I dressed it up with this pair of check pants and block-heel pumps. I’m wearing my usual size 8 pants, but they feel too baggy on me. The peplum top has a hidden back zipper to help get it off and on. Like the pants from Ann Taylor, this also comes in classic and petite.
Here’s a little black dress with attitude. The faux leather trim on the A-line dress is perfect for those who want a little edge without wearing head-to-toe leather. The trim on the bodice, waist, and collar adds the right touch. I also love the 3/4 length sleeves; it’s a great dress from Talbots.
Talk about an edge! Y’all know I love a good moto jacket. This faux leather offering is available on Amazon and is an inexpensive way to incorporate the Reputation Era aesthetic. After 3,600 reviews, it has a 4.5-star rating. Not bad for a jacket that’s under $50 dollars!
You have to love a nice black pair of tall boots! Throw on some skinny jeans and a cool top with these boots, and WOW. I don’t care how old you are; it’s never too late to show a little attitude. Black goes with the Reputation Era look we’re after, but these are also available in shades of brown.

I love wearing animal print, although my go-to is usually leopard. Snakeprint is a great option! I love this in black and white. It would go perfectly with both the pants and the skirt above. I found this at Belk, which I think is typically very affordable.
Here’s another great snakeskin option. I talk a lot about a pop of color. This is a pop of BAM. This would look amazing against a black dress or with black leggings and a great sweater. You’re in luck if you want something other than black and white. It also comes in a red version!
I like a snakeskin print, and I have a pair of heels (somewhere ?) in this same color. I thought this envelope clutch would look great with them, and since it is under $20, I don’t have much money invested in it.

I know this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I thought it would be fun to share some snake jewelry. I’ve had several pieces of snake jewelry through the years. You’ll find them sometimes in vintage shops. I would still have them, but my daughter is a huge fan of snakes and has claimed them all. She really loved these earrings and this ring. I think this would be chic with the right black top, and of course, it would be a great conversation piece.
Another fun snake jewelry option is this ring from Amazon. It’s under $15 dollars but has almost 2,000 reviews for a rating of 4.5 stars. I know a lot of people don’t like snakes, but they are a symbol of good luck and protection. Plus, imagine all of the Swifties you’ll meet wearing this ring!
