The Best Affordable Sneakers and Tennis Shoes to Wear With Jeans

I believe that a cute sneaker is a must-have item in your wardrobe. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are also trending right now! A quick scroll through social media and you can see they are everywhere right now. I’m going to share with you some of the best affordable sneakers and tennis shoes to wear with jeans, dresses, shorts, etc.

The classic white lace-up sneaker is the most popular at the moment, but I am a big fan of metallic and neutral-toned shoes. I also love a good slip-on sneaker (like this pair from Clark’s) as I sometimes think they are easier to dress up than a lace-up shoe. Of course, if I’m going to be doing a lot of walking or exploring, I find myself reaching for comfortable tennis shoes.

Sneakers and tennis shoes can be paired with so many things like leggings and dresses, but today we are talking about the best pairs to wear with jeans! I’ve made a list of some affordable, casual sneakers to wear with jeans that I think you all will love. Since different kinds of activity call for different kinds of shoes, I’ve included a range of comfort levels from athletic tennis shoes to casual sneakers.

Affordable Casual Sneakers to Wear with Jeans

1. Sam Edelman Ethyl Sneaker

You can’t go wrong with pairing a classic white sneaker with your jeans. I really like how classic and timeless this pair from Sam Edelman is. The leather wipes easily, but if you are worried that the white will get dirty quickly, this pair comes in several other colors!

2. Steve Madden Starling

How cute are these gold snake sneakers from Steve Madden?! The star on the side reminds me of the ever popular Golden Goose sneakers, but with a much happier price tag of under $80!

3. Steve Madden Click Sneaker

This fun sneaker/wedge combo is a fun way to dress up a tennis shoe! I love the zipper accent and the subtle texture.

4. Memory Foam Tennis Shoes

I love pairing a comfortable pair of tennis shoes with my jeans when I am at the airport, exploring a new city, or running a full day of errands. This pair from Amazon has almost 8,000 4.5 star ratings, so you know they’re good, and the price is even better!

5. New Balance Classic Sneaker

I’ve been wearing New Balance shoes for years, and I’ve seen their popularity come and go (as all trends do). I’m happy to say they are back on trend because they are affordable and comfy!

6. Soludos Ibiza Sneaker

These white sneakers from Soludos are easy to walk in and versatile! I can see them paired with leggings, jeans, or a cute dress.

7. Clark’s Layton Sneaker

If you need arch support, these are for you! I love wearing Clark’s because their shoes keep my feet happy, and the leopard print on this casual pair of sneakers is so adorable.

8. Hey Dude Loafer

I hear great things about Hey Dudes. They were requested on several Christmas lists in our family this year. They are ultra-lightweight and made with a removable memory foam insole.

9. Soul Naturalizer Tia Shoes

This platform slip-on sneaker from Soul Naturalizer is another great classic casual shoe option. I would pair them with jeans, my favorite tee, and a duster cardigan.

Hi Tania, I usually wear either a P448 or a black Nike. I love the look of the Hey Dudes and I’ve been wanting to try them. I think I will order a pair and check them out. I love your posts as I always get great ideas. Have a wonderful day.

I like my Hey Dudes. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I love my Hey Dudes, but need arch support (fan men arch, and ankle bones shifting). I bought Artrex arch inserts from Tradehome Shoes and slipped them in under the HD foam insole – so comfortable and supportive now! The Aetrex arch support is heel to arch, hard plastic, it cups your heel and properly aligns the foot, can be worn in most styles of shoes.

  9. I just got the Puma Carinna sneakers from Amazon this week! When I first tried them on, I thought they were too small. But the memory foam insole adjusted to my foot and they fit perfectly! They have a lot of support and enough room in the toe box, which I need. I’m very happy – and I first saw them here on your feet, Tania.

  10. Love the look of Fashion sneakers with jeans. My favorite are a pair from Target I bought a couple years ago and my black Converse.
