THIRD TIMES THE CHARM
Before I get into the post and forget, I need your help. One of the winners of the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam tickets had not responded to my email. Marlo Munn is the winner. There was no telephone number or address filled out, so I have no other way to get in touch with him. If anyone knows this person, please contact them and tell him to get in touch with me.Let’s talk about hair. I went to the hair dresser today to get my normal cut and color. I have loved my style, but it is getting about time for a change. I think I am going to let it grow out a little, and do away with the assemyetric cut. But, I will probably stay with the same color, I still love the color. What do you girls think? Have any of you got a cute style that you love? Feel free to send me a picture. I could hold a contest, pick Tania’s new-do. Lol!I know most of you have heard the saying, “Third times the charm.” That is what I am calling this outfit. This is the third time I have styled these pants, and each time is a completely different look. I really like the look of this outfit with this crochet sleeve lace-up poncho from Cato Fashions. I went to Cato’s the other day looking for something to wear to the upcoming music festival, and I found this top. I fell in love on the spot! The sleeves on this top are waaaay too cute. They make this outfit!!! I don’t have on lots of jewelry today, just a few items. Of course everything is from my new found love, Plunder Design, maybe I will eventually move on to another brand, but right now I am smitten. The necklace is called the Anita, the square retro bracelet is called the Zandra, and the teardrop bracelet is called the Edith. I have an August contest running with Plunder. EVERYONE who places an order from Plunder through me in the month of August, will be entered in for a $25.00 Plunder gift certificate. You can buy a bracelet, and you will be entered into the contest. To shop with me, here is the website: http://www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens Try copying and pasting this in the address line, and hopefully it will work. If not, then type in my stylist number 241007 in the stylist box at checkout. I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout also. Several of you ladies have already taken me up on this offer. Good Luck! These striped linen pants are from Old Navy, and I bought them earlier this summer. Here is my first attempt at styling them, and here is my second attempt. I think I got better each time, what do you think?
Linen Pants: Similar | Similar | SimilarI thought you might like a look at the crochet sleeves. I really like this top!I could have changed my purse, but I kind of liked the pink with this look. I wore my white Aerosole wedge shoes, they don’t show very well. For anyone who likes a heel, and also comfort, then you need to try this line of shoes.
Aerosole Wedges: Similar | Similar | I hope you liked today’s outfit. I enjoyed styling the pants differently. If I wear them again this year, and I probably won’t, I would go with a bright colored top. Seeing the pink against the pants made me think about trying that. See, inspiration can come from anywhere.

I have the same blue blouse, love it. From Oklahoma. Love your blog
I I like your hair just as it is! But I know we all need a change every now and then. Several years ago my hair was cut similar to yours except a bit shorter. I loved it and it was always ‘in place’. I let it grow out and I feel its just not styled and as put together so I’m planning to get mine cut shorter again next week! Good luck! LOVE your blog! Angie
LOVE the top! I forgot to tell you I was just at the Kenny Chesney “spread the Love” Tour and I stumbled upon what I think was a cute and comfortable concert outfit that I received many compliments on…a tunic dress with boots, it was off the shoulder which upped the sexy factor a tad bit but my bf loved it and I got many compliments from other women (in the bathroom line of course). It was simple, cool to wear in the summer heat cause it was loose and flowy etc.
I love the sound of that dress! I have a few things put back for the event, I guess a lot of it will depend on the weather when I get there.
Love your hair color and cut too. But it might be fun to let it grow out and try a new style for a change. I think it would look great on you. I really like your blouse too. I think I’m going to make a trip to Cato today.
I have changed it a little. My husband noticed the change immediately. It may be a while before the pictures are on the blog, I have a few other pictures scheduled for print first. Thanks for following:)
I’ve always enjoyed reading your posts, Tania, and appreciating your outfits but this one here is my absolute fave. Those lace trimmed sleeves are equal parts bohemian and poetic. And when worn with those pants, so cool 🙂
Thanks Sheela! I really enjoyed linking up with you earlier this Spring.
Wow! Just went last week and got this same top. I thought this was so pretty, especially the sleeves.
Once again I love this outfit! I would actually love to see your closet. I don’t do as well with mixing and matching outfits from my closet. Thanks for your posts!!
My closet is a packed mess, but I am going to relent and take some pictures or video soon.
I love, love this outfit! You never cease to amaze me with the way you can put things together & make them all look fabulous! I also like the pants w/the flowing white top! I love your hair, but had mine like that last year & decided to let it grow. Now mine is about to my bra line & I love it – more ways to style it. I love your color, especially the different colors in it! I want this top!
My hair is cut in a bob, sort of like yours, but shorter (way shorter) in the back. Sometimes I think I need a change and then I’ll get a compliment on how well it fits my face or something nice, then I think I need to keep it. Lol
Good luck with yours. I think it is so cute and I do love the color. I love linen pants and the top today is very pretty.
Beautiful sleeves on your navy top! I really like how the pink pops against your blues.
I absolutely love the lace detail on the top. It’s beautiful! As for your hair, the color is crazy gorgeous so I agree, you shouldn’t change that. Whatever you decide to do cut-wise, you should definitely keep some layering to better highlight the multi-tonal color. 🙂
I absolutely LOVE Your outfit today……I also bought me a different top, but it has the crochet sleeves, & I Love Yours & Mine too!! The pants just add to this & your shoes & pocket book set it ALL off…..You look Great!! Hope You do better with letting Your hair grow out than I have this summer?? I think You will!! I gave in & cut mine back short yesterday, it has been so awfully HOT in Danville & I just could not stand the weight of it & the HEAT!! You keep on Keeping on with Yours, YOU will look GREAT!! I personally think YOU could SHAVE YOUR HEAD & LOOK FANTASTIC……THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU ARE & ALL YOU DO FOR US…..WE SO APPRECIATE IT!! GOD BLESS & STAY COOL!!
Don’t ask me about hair–mine’s a wreck—even on good day days! But if that’s my worst problem, then life isn’t so bad!!
I love this outfit too—the sleeves definitely make a statement, which is a good thing!
I’m Marlo Munn!!!
YAY!!! I will send another email to this email address. Be sure to look for it, and respond. Once I can verify that you are receiving my email, I will send you the tickets that way. All you will have to do is print them out. Congratulations!!!
Loving the detail on the sleeves!!
Great pants! Linen is so perfect for summer and the vertical stripes are always great for elongating. Thanks so much for hosting!
I love this outfit! The blues are so pretty together, and the details on the blouse are gorgeous! Such great pants; I love that you are having fun styling them different ways!
Thanks for the linkup & enjoy the rest of your week!

I know Marlo and will contact her. Love your outfit!
Great Barbara!!! I am afraid my emails have been going to junk mail. Maybe she will take you with her to the concert:)
I’m Marlo Munn!!!
Thank you for this opportunity for my Daughter, Marlo! She will have a ball
Tania, this top is fabulous! You know I love my Cato Fashions, too! It’s so funny that you styled this outfit for today’s post….I wore the exact same Old Navy pants yesterday also with a navy blue top (mine was an Old Navy tunic though). And I usually add something pink when I wear these pants, too. Great minds dress alike, I guess! Just gorgeous!
You are spectacular!! Love that top and the detailing on it!! You radiate sunshine!!
Perfection! The entire look is outstanding.
Oh you should defenitely leavevthe color of your hair like this! I think perhaps more lagering and a bit shorter by the ears would look good on you! Says the one that never ever changes her hair style!
oooh such an adorable top Tania – love it!
Today I posted How to Shop for Teenagers Made Easy – hehe!
Wishing you a wonderful day!
Love that lace Kaftan. looks really cool and floaty. Thank you for hosting x
The lace detail on the sleeveless is fabulous and so perfect for the weekend concert (you’re planning on taking it with you, right?). Each of the looks for your linen pants are great examples of how to style pants of that type. thanks for hosting.
Isn’t Marlo a girl’s name? Like Marlo Thomas? (That Gurl) ?
It probably is. When I first looked at the name I thought it said Mario. All I could think of was the little man on the go-Kart.
