THIRD TIMES THE CHARM
Before I get into the post and forget, I need your help. One of the winners of the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam tickets had not responded to my email. Marlo Munn is the winner. There was no telephone number or address filled out, so I have no other way to get in touch with him. If anyone knows this person, please contact them and tell him to get in touch with me.
Let’s talk about hair. I went to the hair dresser today to get my normal cut and color. I have loved my style, but it is getting about time for a change. I think I am going to let it grow out a little, and do away with the assemyetric cut. But, I will probably stay with the same color, I still love the color. What do you girls think? Have any of you got a cute style that you love? Feel free to send me a picture. I could hold a contest, pick Tania’s new-do. Lol!
I know most of you have heard the saying, “Third times the charm.” That is what I am calling this outfit. This is the third time I have styled these pants, and each time is a completely different look. I really like the look of this outfit with this crochet sleeve lace-up poncho from Cato Fashions. I went to Cato’s the other day looking for something to wear to the upcoming music festival, and I found this top. I fell in love on the spot! The sleeves on this top are waaaay too cute. They make this outfit!!!
I don’t have on lots of jewelry today, just a few items. Of course everything is from my new found love, Plunder Design, maybe I will eventually move on to another brand, but right now I am smitten. The necklace is called the Anita, the square retro bracelet is called the Zandra, and the teardrop bracelet is called the Edith. I have an August contest running with Plunder. EVERYONE who places an order from Plunder through me in the month of August, will be entered in for a $25.00 Plunder gift certificate. You can buy a bracelet, and you will be entered into the contest. To shop with me, here is the website: http://www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens Try copying and pasting this in the address line, and hopefully it will work. If not, then type in my stylist number 241007 in the stylist box at checkout. I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout also. Several of you ladies have already taken me up on this offer. Good Luck!
These striped linen pants are from Old Navy, and I bought them earlier this summer. Here is my first attempt at styling them, and here is my second attempt. I think I got better each time, what do you think?
Linen Pants: Similar | Similar | SimilarI thought you might like a look at the crochet sleeves. I really like this top!
I could have changed my purse, but I kind of liked the pink with this look. I wore my white Aerosole wedge shoes, they don’t show very well. For anyone who likes a heel, and also comfort, then you need to try this line of shoes.
Aerosole Wedges: Similar | Similar | I hope you liked today’s outfit. I enjoyed styling the pants differently. If I wear them again this year, and I probably won’t, I would go with a bright colored top. Seeing the pink against the pants made me think about trying that. See, inspiration can come from anywhere.
Anytime you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. It helps get my blog out to more people, and I am sure you just want to spread the entertaining sayings I have. Lol!

I have the same blue blouse, love it. From Oklahoma. Love your blog
I I like your hair just as it is! But I know we all need a change every now and then. Several years ago my hair was cut similar to yours except a bit shorter. I loved it and it was always ‘in place’. I let it grow out and I feel its just not styled and as put together so I’m planning to get mine cut shorter again next week! Good luck! LOVE your blog! Angie
LOVE the top! I forgot to tell you I was just at the Kenny Chesney “spread the Love” Tour and I stumbled upon what I think was a cute and comfortable concert outfit that I received many compliments on…a tunic dress with boots, it was off the shoulder which upped the sexy factor a tad bit but my bf loved it and I got many compliments from other women (in the bathroom line of course). It was simple, cool to wear in the summer heat cause it was loose and flowy etc.
I love the sound of that dress! I have a few things put back for the event, I guess a lot of it will depend on the weather when I get there.
Love your hair color and cut too. But it might be fun to let it grow out and try a new style for a change. I think it would look great on you. I really like your blouse too. I think I’m going to make a trip to Cato today.
I have changed it a little. My husband noticed the change immediately. It may be a while before the pictures are on the blog, I have a few other pictures scheduled for print first. Thanks for following:)
I’ve always enjoyed reading your posts, Tania, and appreciating your outfits but this one here is my absolute fave. Those lace trimmed sleeves are equal parts bohemian and poetic. And when worn with those pants, so cool 🙂
Thanks Sheela! I really enjoyed linking up with you earlier this Spring.
Wow! Just went last week and got this same top. I thought this was so pretty, especially the sleeves.
