THESE JEANS ARE HARD TO FIND THIS YEAR

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and faded black jeans with a brown belt and brown ballet flats from Tory Burch Working in the yard must have worn me out more than I thought. I am usually awake between 6:00 and 7:30, just depending on the light outside. We don’t set the alarm unless there is a reason, so the sunlight streaming in through the windows is usually what wakes me up. When it is raining or cloudy outside, then I will sleep in longer than the days when the sun is bright and shining. But, this morning, when I woke up, I turned over and pulled the covers up over my head.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and faded black jeans with a brown belt and brown flats from Tory Burch Around 9:00, I heard Joe coming back down the hall, and then the door creaking open. He quietly walked over to look at me, and I grinned back at him. He laughed and said, “are you going to sleep all day?” My first thought was, “not if you keep coming in here to wake me up.” Lol! But then he said, “I was worried about you since you don’t normally sleep so long. I thought that I had better come and check on you.” Awwww. Wasn’t that sweet of him? I dragged my tail out of bed and started my day, but I felt like I was running behind all day long. I had to meet a photographer for a photo shoot, and I barely got ready in time, even though it wasn’t until 3:00 pm. My alarm might have to be set if I sleep in again because I can’t stand feeling like I am dragging the whole day long. So, I am curious…are you an early bird or a night owl that sleeps the day away?
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and blue light blocking reading glasses I am a fan of a bishop-sleeve blouse! Do you remember this leopard print blouse (here) that got me started on wearing this type of sleeve? I love the elegant feel of this type of sleeve, even though I had no idea what it was called until recently. Lol! This blouse can be tied for a dressier look, but I was going for a dressy/casual look, so I left it untied. I like the paint splatter print, and with these colors, you will be able to wear this in the fall also. The ruffles around the neckline, and the bishop sleeves, give this blouse a romantic vibe. I am wearing a medium in the blouse, and I think that it fits me great. HERE is the link to the top that is only 20.00 and comes in four other colors.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and gold jewelry from Kendra Scott I added the Elle drop earring of Ivory Mother of Pearl (HERE) and the Elisa triple strand necklace (HERE) with a smaller Ivory Mother of Pearl pendant. I love Mother of Pearl because of the sheen and how versatile that it is. You can wear this set with almost anything, and it will instantly make anything you wear look nicer. Today, I got a long necklace with a large Mother of Pearl pendant (HERE) that is 30″ long. It is gorgeous, and I can’t wait to style it with the necklace that I currently am wearing.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing faded black jeans and brown ballet flats from Tory Burch One of the reasons that I love the Minnie ballet flat from Tory Burch is that I can wear it all year round. If I am going to shell out megabucks (at least to me) then, I want to get my money worth from them. These are the iconic shoe from this brand, and it goes with everything. They are comfortable, and I am wearing my usual size 9 in them. HERE is the link to the shoes.

I love designer items just as much as anyone, but I hate paying full price. So, here are some Tory Burch shoes that will save you at least 50.00 or more on each item. The colorful Miller Sandals are gorgeous!

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and faded black jeans and brown ballet flats from Tory Burch The last time that I had my eyes checked, they mentioned that I needed to be wearing blue light blocking glasses. More and more of us are spending time on our computers and phones, and they emit blue light that is damaging to our eyes. I try to remember to wear mine as often as possible, and they have come in handy when I wear a mask. With the mask on, and also the glasses, I can’t touch my mouth, nose, or eyes, so I feel pretty protected.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and faded black jeans with a brown belt and brown ballet flats Remind me not to take pictures with my hands in my pockets like this. It makes the jeans look slouchy and baggy, and they weren’t until I drug them down with my hands. Lol! I don’t think that I am going to be a model any time soon. These jeans are a pair that I bought back in the early spring from Rachel Parcell. I love this pair, but they are sold out, and finding this faded black color is not easy. This color has been a hot commodity this year, so if you like these jeans, grab one of the ones below quickly. I found one that is under 20.00, but the sizes are limited. I found one that is 40.00, but on sale even more, so hurry and get that one. And, then I found another more expensive one, but I did the best that I could to bring you affordable options.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old wearing a bishop sleeve blouse and faded black jeans with a brown belt and ballet flats from Tory Burch I just got finished celebrating my birthday, and now it is time to start celebrating my Rodanniversary. That is the day that I became a consultant with Rodan + Fields, and it is the day that a lot of things changed in my life. My skin changed, my confidence level changed, I got a huge network of friends and business partners, and I became an entrepreneur of my own business. It is nice to have something to call your own, and it feels great to earn your own spending money. Joe has never told me that I couldn’t have anything that I asked for, but I would never buy something that I considered expensive. I was too practical for spending a lot of money on something if I could find a cheaper “similar” version. It feels so good to be able to spend X amount of dollars on a pair of shoes, or a necklace, or a handbag with money that I’ve earned. The best part is, I’ve earned this money while helping other women feel better about their skin. Their confidence levels have soared too, and that makes me so happy to see and hear.

For my Rodanniversary, you can join me in business up to 300.00 off!!! My Energizer Bunny Friend and I are hosting a ZOOM call tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern time, and I hope you will join us. Email me ([email protected]), FaceBook message me or message me on Instagram stories for the ZOOM number and password. Everyone who joins me in the call will get something from me, so let me see your smiling face tonight.

I am a morning person…mostly because of my four-legged alarm clocks. I have 2 little dachshunds who have teeny tiny bladders. Love the blouse. Looks like a perfect piece for Spring.

I am definitely an early bird!! Always have been. I can probably count on one hand how many times I’ve slept late. I love having the extra time in the morning for my time with the Lord then I have all of the rest of the day to do what I want. Love your outfit today. You give me so much inspiration each day to get in my closet and decide what to wear each day. I get a lot of my inspiration from you!!

I am a morning person for sure. I always tell my students that if they email me in the evening, I will answer them early, early morning, but not late in the evening.
When we went to on-line teaching, I bought myself a pair of glasses for when I am using the computer (which is all day). I don’t need prescription glasses, but I think the blue light blocking glasses help when I am at the computer so many hours every day.

I am a morning person. I no longer need to set an alarm since I am retired (heavenly) but I find my internal clock still wakes me up as the sun comes up. We farm, and as the saying goes: “work is from sun up to sun down“ around here. I have a pair of faded black/dark gray jeans but haven’t found a perfect way to style them…at least for me. I’m working on it and this blouse would be a great starting point. Have a great day!

I love this cool top and love this type of sleeve too. With so many blouses and shirts having the way too tight sleeve these days, I’m looking for this type of sleeve. I never knew what to call It either.
