The Best Arch Support Shoes for Women
Boy, oh boy, this post is for me! I love a good pair of shoes that are comfortable to wear. It’s fairly easy to find shoes like this for walking, but in sandals or flats? Not as much. No worries, Gurls. Today, I’m sharing the best arch support shoes for women that are also cute! You can see that it’s a subject near and dear to my heart (and feet.)

The Best Arch Support Shoes for Women – Sneakers
Ever since I got plantar fasciitis, I’ve been more careful about the shoes I wear. I can wear some shoes for short periods of time, but if I’ll be wearing something for a long time, it has to have arch support.
I wear sneakers for longer periods, so I ordered these Vionic Mesh Sneakers, and they are so comfortable! I love white-on-white sneakers, especially in the summer, and I can easily throw them in the washer if they get dirty. These are no-tie shoes, so I don’t have to be worried about bending over to tie the laces.
Gurls, if you’re on the hunt for sneakers that blend style with serious arch support, check out the New Balance® 574 women’s sneakers. These classics have been around since 1988 and are known for their durability and comfort. The suede/mesh upper keeps things breathable, while the solid rubber outsole provides the stable footing ladies our age need. I’m seeing neutrals everywhere this summer, and these will be right on trend!
Hoka’s are the BEST when it comes to comfort. I did a whole post on this brand not long ago. For those of you who need extra comfort in your stride, they are a fantastic choice. The shoes are even recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association. Plus, the fresh ‘Airy Blue/Sunlit Ocean’ color adds a pop of style to your athletic gear!
Where are my Gurls who need a wide-toe box? These are a dream come true for anyone with wide feet or anyone who loves a roomy fit! Wide shoes allow your toes to spread out naturally, promoting better balance. Plus, tight shoes make your toes wonky and cause all kinds of issues! These come with removable arch support inserts to customize your comfort, and the best part? They’re machine washable, keeping them fresh and clean.
The Best Arch Support Shoes for Women – Flats
I love these two-tone slingback flats! I have a pair of ivory/black and a pair of camel/black flats, but my jaw hit the floor when I saw this pair! (They’ll be here on Wednesday 😊) I have a feeling they will become my summer go-to pair when I wear flats.
These shoes are not just about looks; they’re made to help correct pronation and support your whole body. The natural tan raffia gives them a fresh, versatile look that’s perfect for any casual or dressy outfit. Plus, they’re designed to ease heel pain, which is a big win if you’re dealing with plantar fasciitis or want extra comfort in your step!
Slip-on shoes are so easy to wear. My biggest problem is that I end up having a pile of them at the door, lol. Check out these Orthopedic Slip-Ons. They’re super easy to slip on and give your arches the support they need, so goodbye, foot pain! They’re light as a feather and have a non-slip sole, perfect for anything from a quick grocery run to a full day on your feet. Plus, they go with just about anything from jeans to workwear. Comfy and cute? Yes, please!
To be honest, I don’t wear a ton of flats. Sandals, yes, sneakers, yes, but not ballet flats, etc. as often. But this blog isn’t just about me! I know some of you prefer flats to anything with a heel. These beauties are crafted with Dansko’s “Natural Arch technology” for incredible support, making them perfect for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. They tend to run large, so you might want to size down for a snug fit if you’re between sizes.
The Best Arch Support Shoes for Women -Sandals
I just got these sandals c/o QVC, and they are so comfortable! I love being able to slip on a pair of shoes easily without having to tie or buckle anything. These leather sandals are by Clarks; you know that brand means quality. I’m wearing my usual size, but I suggest sizing up if you are between sizes. Here is a better look at the sandals.
If you need sandals that can handle long days on your feet, these Orthopedic Sandals might just be your new go-to. They come with serious arch support and a deep heel cup that helps if you struggle with plantar fasciitis or heel pain—that’s me! The adjustable hook-and-loop closure ensures a perfect fit. Plus, they’re stylish enough to dress up or down, making them super versatile!
Okay, I LOVE the look of these. Would you ever guess these are classified as Orthopedic Sandals? They’re perfect for just about any occasion—from shopping trips to beach vacations—and they go great with anything, whether you’re wearing shorts, skirts, or dresses. Plus, with their sleek design and affordable price, these sandals are not only easy on your feet but also easy on your wallet!
Slides are great for beach trips but don’t always provide good support. That’s where these babies come in! These sandals have an adjustable buckle to fit wide feet comfortably and feature a yoga mat footbed! With a WIDE range of colors to choose from, these slides offer great support and add a splash of style to your summer wardrobe.

Thankyou for the shoe recommendations!! I am need of some good comfy shoes!!
Comfy shoes are a must for me. I spent many years teaching 3rd Grade and wearing high heels. What was I thinking?
THANK YOU for sharing so many pretty shoes with us that have arch support! Not only do I need arch support, I have paper thin and narrow feet, so finding skinny enough shoes is a real challenge. I really like the Vionic sling back flats, but they are not known for a narrow fit. I am wanting a new pair of fun sneakers so I will check out the HOKA ones. The orthopedic platform sandals are beautiful!
Happy Birthday, Tania! 🎂 You are adorable! 😍Love your blog! 🎈
Loving anything Vionic… they simply get the job done. I also really like those black thong sandals as well. Haven’t had as much luck with the sneakers.. but Amazon sells some incredible insoles that offer great arch support and totally take the pressure off of my neuroma. They work great with New Balance.
Tania,
What are your thoughts about the Vivaia brand of shoes? I have so been wanting to try them, but don’t know anyone who has bought them.
Susan, I’ve seen those, but I’ve not tried them before. Maybe one of the other ladies here has tried them.
I got a pair of Brooks sneakers for Mothers Day but have not wore them yet, it has been raining! Ha!
Love the Clark’s shoes, I guess I am an old lady now!😉
Thank you for your great posts!!
Blessings,
I’m lucky and don’t really have any issues with my feet but I do like comfortable shoes! Love the wedge sandals.
My balance has made me have to wear flats. Thank you for showing so many options for us.
I need arch support too – have the same foot problem as you!
I ordered the Clark’s sandals from QVC in a beige from your email yesterday. These are great options. I need support too. I will check them out.
I ordered them, too! If I’m not comfortable, I’m cranky. Lol 😝
All great choices. I absolutely need lots of arch support and cushion and absolutely love my HOKAS.
Love, love the photo of your grandkitty Tom!!!❤️🥰
Also so….appreciate all the research you do! So many excellent choices and like you say, something for everyone!
Thank you 💕
I have had plantar fasciitis also and it makes wearing cute shoes difficult! I love the wedge ones from Amazon.
The beige comfort loafers are so cute but it looks like they only come in wide width and, wouldn’t you know, I wear a narrow!!
Tom is a gorgeous cat and yes, the detail on your new camera is great.
Happy Monday!!
😊❤️❤️
Tania, I ordered the Clarks sandals yesterday on QVC in beige and can’t wait to try them out. I have always had good luck with Clarks.
Arch support is always good! I adore the wedge sandals! Those are seriously cute!
I’ve had plantar fasciitis, too. Ouch! Now I only wear shoes with good arch support. Thanks for the suggestions.
OMG, you included shoes for us wide-footed gurls! Bless you! I observe that you now have Bombas as a sponsor. Their no-shows are awesome; they have the best heel strips to hold up their socks. I really love them.
Bombas doesn’t sponsor me, although I would for them to. Lol!
Thank you for this post. I’m constantly searching and buying shoes for comfort and style. In my 56 years I’ve never owned this many shoes. I will be doing better at purchases that won’t automatically go to my girls instead of in my closet for me!! Have a great day and I appreciate you and your posts!! Definately improving my look and fashion sense since finding your blogs!
I’m so glad that the blog is helping you.
The wedge sandals are my favorite! So cute and not too clumpy, Lots of great arch support options.
I love the vionics!
Thank you so much for sharing your arch support pics in this post. They’re the only kind of shoes I can wear comfortably for long periods of time. And you found some great styles that don’t look frumpy, for sure. I do have a question about white sneakers. Are white sneakers back in style? or only with certain outfits. Where I live I don’t see a lot of women wearing white sneakers, black seems to be the norm. Your thoughts?
Annette, white sneakers have been trending for years. I’m starting to see more neutral colors, or white with a neutral colored sole. Black is a classic color, and I have a few black pairs, but I rarely wear them.
Great Options! Would you say that the sling back flats run true to size?
I believe they do.
Sounds like we have the same foot problems, ugh. High arches and plantar fasciitis, so this is a must post for us. Thank you for attractive shoes. I find I can’t wear my cute sandals for very long at all. Church and as soon as I get home off they go.
I recently found a great brand of arch support sneakers. Ryka devotion X walking shoe. The company is owed by Women and shoes are made to fit a woman’s foot. Reasonable priced. I have feet issues and they are great. I can walk for hours and no foot pain. I wanted to mention so you may like to share. Thanks
Thanks, Pam! I haven’t tried Ryka in a long time, I’ll have to put these on my radar.
Love vionics and hokas- thanks for the reviews
Your grand kitty is gorgeous! Thank you for this post. I’ve seen Skechers slip ins & may have to check them out!
Good choices
