THE ANKLE BOOTS THAT IS TRENDING RIGHT NOW
It is the weekend!!! Do you have plans, or are you just sitting at the house like me? Well, I guess that I do actually have plans for later tonight, but right now I am trying to sort out the mountain of clothes that I have ordered in. Every day another package gets delivered, and it is almost getting comical. I must have gone crazy with all of the specials and sales over the past very weeks. My bedroom has packages EVERYWHERE, and I can’t take photos of all of the clothes fast enough.
I am trying to get everything to you as soon as possible so that you can grab your items before the sales go off and before the stores get sold out. That is the biggest danger at this time of the year; everything gets picked over quickly. Stores are having more sales than ever to try and drive traffic since so many people aren’t shopping in the stores. I never shop in the stores and do 99% of my shopping online. It is so convenient, and I don’t have to worry about where I left my buggy. I was the worst for losing my buggy and having to look all over the store to see where I left it. Lol! There has been more than once that a salesclerk would find it and then put all of the clothing back on the shelves since they thought the buggy was abandoned. I’ll take online over in-store any day; plus, I actually spend LESS money online than when I go into the stores.
I LOVE this cable-knit mockneck sweater. This is a very nice quality heavy-ish sweater, and I love how it feels. It feels like quality, and I know you know what I mean by that. There are things that you touch, and you immediately know that it is a quality made item. I love all of the different textures of this sweater. The ivory color is beautiful and a great neutral, and I love the length of the sweater. It will go with leggings, jeans, pants, skirts, etc. I think that I will wear it with my Spanx faux-leather leggings the next time. I am wearing a medium, and the sweater is still roomy and big enough for me. Use the code CHEERS to get this sweater for 60% off.
I wanted to wear a pair of crop jeans with this sweater so that I could show off my new boots. These high-waisted straight jeans are super stretchy, and they fit slim through the thighs and fall straight from the knees down. I am wearing my usual size 10, and even though they fit, they are a tiny bit snug around my waist. Maybe Joe was right about me needing to lose some weight. Lol!
NOW, let’s talk about these boots!!! Oh, My Word! I have resisted ordering a pair of white/ivory/cream/off-white boots, and now I am kicking myself in the rear for waiting so long. I have a long foot, and I wear a size 9, so I don’t like calling attention to my feet. I can remember having my cousin tease me that I would have to back up to a door to open it because my feet were so big. With family members like that, who needs enemies, right? Anyway, I have steered away from wearing white shoes, even in the summer months, so I am SHOCKED that I love these booties! I will warn you that these boots have a higher shaft, so it will take some getting used to because they hit you on the leg when you walk. I did have to size up in these boots since they run small, and I am wearing a size 9 1/2. Ssssh, don’t tell my cousin what size I am now wearing. Lol! I think that this pair is a little expensive, so I will try and find some with the same look, but at a lower price point.
I thought that you might like an idea about the length of the sweater, so here is a quick glimpse. BTW, I loved reading all of the comments about the plaid shoes on yesterday’s post. Some were entertaining to read, and I loved seeing all of the different opinions. That is what fashion is all about, an expression of your likes and dislikes. The winner of this week’s giveaway is Cindy Roth!!! Cindy, look for an email from me because I will need your shipping address. BTW, the shoes are going back. In the end, I decided that I don’t wear flats that often, and I wouldn’t wear them enough to justify keeping them, even if they were on sale. As someone mentioned, do they bring me joy? The answer was no, so back they go.
The new year is fast approaching, and I have already started thinking about next year. I am making plans, goals and putting the balls into motion. If you don’t act proactively, then next year will be a repeat of this year. You have to start preparing now for what is to come. What are you preparing for? Do you have any goals, any plans?

Romans 4:16
16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.
The sweater’s nice.
Shorten the necklace a touch.
Hard-hard-hard NO on the boots.
Very beautiful; Perfect and versatile. favorite, classic look; There’s nothing like wearing a pair of white boots!
Don’t care for the boots! I’ve seen several ladies wearing them. All I can think of when I see these is GoGo boots! Uhhhh!
Those white boots are a no for me.
Great look, Tania!!!!
Love the outfit and LOVE LOVE THOSE BOOTIES!
Thank you Tania! Boy was I surprised last night when I got your email! I just ordered that sweater too. I was looking for a comfy sweater and I need a couple of new ones. Got my son a sweater for Christmas too!
And I told my gal pals about your blog as well, and how funny it is when you show pictures of changing clothes in the car “on location.”
I got your package in the mail today, so look for the bright pink mailer in a couple of days. I hope you like the goodies, and I appreciate your sharing my blog with your gal pals.
I also have an ‘unfiltered’ husband. Many years ago I told him I bought a pair of skinny jeans, his response was “Why you’re not skinny”!
Deborah, that made me bust out laughing. Our men… you got to love them. Lol!
Good decision on the plaid flats. I need to remember- do they bring you joy? If not get rid of it
I need to remember to that more often myself. Lol!
This is a very high end classy look! Those boots are fabulous w that creamy sweater, and that blingy necklace sets it off!
Thanks, Charlcy. I loved the look, but I wasn’t sure how others would feel.
Do you keep all the clothes you feature in the blog?
Oh, gracious no! I keep waaaaay more than I should, but I send a lot of things back. Sometimes they don’t fit me exactly right, sometimes I am not a fan of how they look, and I only need so many black jeans, etc. But, I like to show items that are in stores so that readers can create the same look.
I “went out on a limb” during Nordstrom’s anniversary sale and purchased the same boots and I am in LOVE with them❣️ You look great! Mine are a nine and I don’t care 😉
I am glad that someone else loves the boots too!!!
I love the white? Cream? Sweater!
I love it too! It is very nice quality and I love the pattern!
Hi, Could you give sites and examples of modern dangle CLIP ON earrings. It is very hard to find stylish ones! Thx. I enjoy your site! Nan
Nan, you need to check out Chico’s. They offer cute clip on earrings, not a ton, but at least some.
That sweater is so pretty…not crazy about the boots…lol I have to admit that when you said you loose your “buggy” when you are shopping in the store, that was a new one for me. We call them “carts” in my area!! 🙂 Good advice on starting to think about goals for the new year. My goal for the weekend is to wrap Christmas gifts.
They are carts here too, but most of us still refer to them as a buggy. Lol!
Beautiful outfit. The necklace is perfect for the sweater. Where did it come from please?
🤣Seeing your white boots took me down memory lane! I vividly remember my favorite boots sound ‘72. White knee high that zipped up the inside and outside. They were heck on pantyhose though!
I agree, Kathy. These do remind me a little bit of “these boots were made for walking.”
I am glad that you liked the outfit. Here is the link to the necklace. https://shopstyle.it/l/bpLSg
I love that necklace! Where did you get it?
It is the Ryder multi-chain necklace. Here is the link:

What size of the sweater are you wearing. I love it!
I am wearing a medium in the sweater.
Tania you look fabulous! I love the white sweater and you wear it so well. The jeans look fantastic on you also. White boots don’t bring me joy either, but they do look good on you. I’ve been wearing long tops with leggings or yoga pants for a while now since I’ve been dealing with cancer. It just makes things easier for me. Following your posts has been great cuz I can keep up with fashion. Thanks Tania for helping so many of us girls! 😃
Carolina, I hope you are cancer-free soon, but I am so glad that you have been enjoying my posts. I hope they make you feel better and brighten your day.
Hi Tania
This is Cheryl Chovich. I am so excited to have won the favorite unexpected Christmas gift contest from 12-6-20. What is your email address so I can send you my mailing address? If you sent an email I may have missed it—I even looked in my junk mail folder. Lol! I love your posts and especially look forward to the Bible verses.

Cheryl, I got your address and your gift is already in the mail. I hope you enjoy the goodies.
