Did you know that Clinique was one of the “first brands to emphasize the importance of skincare science, offering products tailored to different skin types and issues?” It’s true! They are particularly known for their 3-Step Skin Care System, which includes cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing. So grab a cup of coffee, and let’s get into these Clinique goodies!

Is Clinique A Good Brand?
Yes, Clinique is considered a very good brand, especially for those looking for high standards of safety in skincare and makeup. Their products, like the moisturizers and cleansing balms, are formulated using ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to deliver hydration and help repair skin issues such as blemishes and discolorations. Whether you’re dealing with acne, dry skin, or seeking healthy-looking skin, Clinique’s products have earned trust for their safety and effectiveness.
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is a cult favorite for a reason! It’s the perfect balance of sheer color and hydrating balm, giving your lips a natural tint that works for every skin tone. It glides on smoothly and feels lightweight, but still adds that subtle, polished look. If you’re looking for something that feels barely there but still makes your lips look fabulous, this one is a must-have.
I just love a good eyeshadow palette that’s versatile and wearable! This one’s a blend of soft pinks and warm browns, perfect for that everyday glow or something a little more glam for the evening. These shades work great on all skin tones, and since it’s from Clinique, you know it’s safe for sensitive eyes—no more itchy lids! Pair it with a swipe of liner, and you’re ready for anything. I’ve been using this one for my everyday look, and I’m going to grab The Best Of Black Honey All About Shadow Palette for nighttime.
A Great Clinique Duo
Oh, Gurls, this Black Honey duo is such a classic! It’s a cult favorite, and for a good reason. You can use it as a lip balm or a cheek tint, which makes it easy for those days when you’re on the go. The Black Honey shade is like magic—it somehow looks good on everyone! It gives your skin that natural, flushed look without being over the top. It’s perfect for that no-makeup makeup look we all adore, ha!
Okay, so who else struggles with keeping their lipstick from bleeding? I know I do, especially when I’m wearing a bold color. This lip liner helps keep everything in place, plus it’s super creamy, so it glides on like a dream. I’ve heard from some Gurls that this is the secret to keeping your lip color looking sharp all day long! It also comes in a variety of shades, so you’ll find one to match just about any lipstick you love.
Clinique Liners
If you love a good eyeliner that doesn’t smudge, this one is for you! It’s got an intense color payoff and glides on easily without tugging—perfect for mature skin that needs a gentler touch. Plus, it’s long-lasting, so you don’t have to worry about reapplying throughout the day. I love how it defines the eyes without looking too harsh. You can also smudge it out for a more smoky evening look!
The Eyes Have It with Clinique
This mascara really does it all! It lengthens, volumizes, and separates the lashes beautifully. Whether you’re going for a natural look or want to amp things up for a night out, this mascara has you covered. And it’s ophthalmologist-tested, so it’s great for those of us with sensitive eyes (or if you’re a contact lens wearer!). It’s a must-have in your makeup bag, for sure.
Oh, how I love a good brow pencil! This one is fantastic because it’s easy to use, and the tip is fine enough to create hair-like strokes for a natural look. Gurls, you know how brows frame your face, and this pencil gives you that soft definition without looking too drawn on. It’s long-wearing, so your brows stay put all day, even in this crazy Virginia humidity, ha!
Clinique Products for Coverage
If you’re looking for a foundation that provides great coverage but doesn’t feel heavy, this is it! It’s a 2-in-1, so it doubles as a concealer—how convenient is that? It gives you that flawless finish while keeping your skin hydrated and radiant. And, it’s oil-free, so it works for all skin types, especially if you’re dealing with any combination skin issues. My sister tried it, and she swears by the buildable coverage without looking cakey!
Gurls, this matte powder is a game changer if you’re like me and have oily skin that needs a little taming! It’s sheer, so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a mask, but it helps keep that shine under control throughout the day. And it’s perfect for touch-ups—just pop it in your purse for when you’re out and about. Plus, it’s available in a variety of shades to suit all skin tones, which is a win in my book!

I just bought an eyeliner and got the black honey lipgloss in the free gift. I like it. I cannot believe I’ve never had that one as the gal working said it’s been out since the 70’s!
Another great Clinique product is their clarifying (toner) product. I was convinced when I saw what happened when placing a strip of scotch tape on my skin before using the product and then after. It gave a great picture of how it cleans off residue. The bottle has a pump top that is perfect when pressing a cotton round into it.
I forgot about the toner. I used to use that.
That’s a good picture of you in the pink. I couldn’t tell what that picture was on your email. If you’re in it I don’t see it
No, I’m not in it. I think it was an accidental photo of my red leather chair.
Your link for high impact easy eyeliner takes you to quickliner for eyes. These are two different products. I use high impact and love it. It has almost like a felt tip marker brush that glides on and lasts all day. Quickliner is an eye pencil. I have used it too, but high impact stays in place better without smudging.
Susan, I started to link to the high impact liner, and then switched to the quickliner. I must have forgotten to change the caption, but the photo and the link in right.
Love the leopard head necklace? Where did you purchase it?
I’m sorry, Connie; I just now saw your comment. Here is the link to that: https://bit.ly/4eIYf4C
That lipstick looks gorgeous. I think I will have to get a tube!
I think you will like it a lot!
You recommended the Almost Lipstick in Black Honey the other day – I bought it and love it! I’d forgotten how much I used to love Clinique. Now I’m going to try the eye shadow and eye liner as my eyes have become much more sensitive as I’ve aged. Your comments about random photos on your phone at the beginning of the email had me chuckling! And I never thought about what my dog sees when she sits in my lap! Poor dog! 🤣
Amy, I’m so glad to hear you love the Black Honey Almost Lipstick!!! Your comment about your dog had me giggling.
I recently bought Clinique mascara but haven’t opened it yet. Trying to use up what I have first! Love your review on Clinique products.
Could you share the makeup you wear? Your skin and foundation are beautiful.
I’m wearing Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Foundation in the shade 02 Neutral
Love clinque and use alot of their products and the pink honey eyeshadow is my go to. Really lights up my eyes. When they weren’t making it any more I called once a month and they fi ally rebooted it. LOL
Persistence pays off! Lol!
Yes thx Clinique is a great brand!
Really like the Black Honey! Prayers for your daughter’s home.
I love Clinique…. I have been wearing it since i was in my 20’s as i have sensitive eyes and their eye shadows do not bother my skin. Thank you for sharing that lip color….. i haven’t tried that shade but now i will!
I love the black honey lipstick and high impact mascara too!
Clinique also has a line for those of us who have rosacea, “redness solutions”.
Great brand!
I had for gotten about Clinque- that was my go to brand in my early 20’s and for a long time. I need to make a trip to Ulta – to check out sheer foundations- as cannot get a good match online. Have a blessed week!
I’ll admit that I don’t always read your second daily posts Tania but I did today and glad I did. I’m in desperate need of an eyeliner that’s easy to apply has staying power and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. I’m hoping this Clinique High Impact Easy Liquid does the trick. I’ll let you know.
Thanks for post!
What?!? You don’t read both posts? 😔 Just kidding, I hope the eyeliner works for you.
Got it, used it, love it! Easy on the eyelids glides on easy and has great staying power. Another excellent recommendation Tania. I’m going to have to start reading that second post more often 😉.
Thank You!
Kathryn
Yay, yay, and yay!!!
Clinique for eyes for me! No itchy eyes when I use Clinique products, especially their mascara.
I’ve been using Clinique for years- love their products. Thanks to your reviews I may try a few new products.
Good morning! We are in Upstate SC, in the path of Helene. We only lost power for 30 hours or so, but our cable and internet was down for 2+ weeks. I had to use my phone to see emails and it didn’t perform well, trying to read your posts. I’ve missed all the news. I did try and catch up on my laptop, last night. Did your daughter have any damage in Asheville? Has she been able to return home? They have so much devastation, two weeks without internet is nothing. Counting my blessings!
I’m glad to see it is all slowly returning. She hasn’t returned yet because she has had a cold. She was told that the electric is back on, but still no water. She is dreading the mess. 😭
