MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LION

50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LIONGood morning everyone! I asked the question on FaceBook yesterday about March 1st coming in like a Lion or a Lamb. I don’t really know how to categorize our day because it was warm but really windy and overcast. But it made me curious where the saying even came from so I did what we all do nowadays and I Googled it. Lol! It seems back in the “old days” they thought evil spirits changed the weather and that everything balanced itself out. Sounds kind of like Ying and Yang weather to me. 50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LIONTo go just a little bit further, I searched the Farmers Almanac for other weather-related sayings. Yes, I was bored! Some of these I had heard and some I hadn’t.

  • March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers.

  • A dry March and a wet May? Fill barn and bays with corn and hay.

  • As it rains in March so it rains in June

  • Ring around the moon? Rain real soon

  • Rainbow in the morning gives you fair warning

I guess you have all had your weather lesson this morning. But I will give you one more, March is unpredictable so be prepared for anything. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LIONThis fine gauge knit sweater is from Cato’s. I bought it last year and it has a polished finish. The sweater feels really smooth and soft and it’s look is higher end. A good navy sweater will be something that you can use for years and years. I believe they call this a classic piece. Wow! That almost sounds like I know what I am talking about. Lol! The last time I wore this sweater I wore it with beige pants but I still had a pop of color in the look.

50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LION This Plunder necklace just pops off of the navy background. This is called Carmen. I got this necklace back in the fall but I haven’t worn this often because it just looked like a spring necklace. You can see all the little tassels and all the different colored beads in this up close and personal photo. This is one of the few necklaces that I love that is in the gold-tone. Most of the necklaces I like are silver even though my preference is gold. Because I was wearing the gold necklace I decided to wear my Ashton earrings. Truly these are probably my favorite pair of earrings from anywhere. I love this set! I want to thank all of you who made Plunder purchases last month. It was my best month EVER! I love getting messages from ladies who tell me that they love their items! Because everyone loved the jewelry and everyone loved the discount I am once again going to be running that special again this month. EVERY purchase over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping) will be getting 15% off in a discount check from me. This month there may also be a few giveaways splattered throughout the month. It is Joe’s birthday month and I feel like celebrating!!! The winner of the Bryan leopard print cuff was Jeanne Epley!!! Be looking for this to coming your way! To place an order simply go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania2  Pssst, don’t tell Joe that I am giving away money for his birthday!!! Lol!
50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LIONI love the navy and white print on these crop pants. These are Pixie Pants that are from Old Navy. For some reason, ladies have gotten the idea that Old Navy is a store for younger ladies. Nothing could be farther from the truth, this store is one of my favorite stores to shop at. It is also one of the stores that I can drive to in a two-hour time frame. EVERYTHING is at least two hours away from me. Haha!

50 IS NOT OLD | MARCH CAME IN LIKE A LIONBTW, just in case you were wondering, March came in like a huge overgrown angry LION today. It poured the rain and the wind was crazy. There were trees down over roads and several people had roof damage in the county. I sure look forward to the LAMB coming at the end of the month.

I realize that not everyone is interested in my Rodan and Fields adventure so I am trying to find ways to let the ones who are interested and love the products get that information, and the ones who don’t want to see anything R & F related can quickly move along. It is a work in progress and when I figure out how then I’ll let you know what I am doing. In the mean time, the limited time offer will only be available until the 9th. That offer is for a 20% discount off of the purchase of any regimen AND the Lash Boost as a bundle. If you are a preferred customer or become one, then you will receive another 10% off PLUS free shipping and handling. The cost of enrollment for a preferred customer is 19.95 and I will refund you that along with a mini cream for you to try. Tania,
This is a cute transitional outfit – navy and white, so classic. I lust after your earrings – are they still available?
Also, for anyone on the fence about Rodan + Feilds, I wanted to say that I have been using it for almost 60 days now, and today saw a group of ladies that I hadn’t seen in three weeks, and I got numerous comments on how I was “glowing”. NEVER has anyone said that to me. It’s all Rodan + Feilds. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

    1. Susan, you would love those earrings, they are fabulous and they ARE available.

I know what you mean about Rodan + Fields. I don’t see the difference when I look because I see myself daily, but when I see others that haven’t seen me in a while they always comment. That never gets old! ❤️

  4. Nice outfit, Tania! Love the jewelry too!

  5. Susan Stancliff says:

Love the pixie pants. I am so happy they come in petite! You look wonderful today as everyday. We had a lamb at our house but that is not uncommon living so close to the Gulf.

Just curious, is the weather warm enough for sandals? It’s 29 degrees here in Chicago,
Although they say Sunday should be 60! We shall see!
    Love you posts!
