Leopard and Chanel
It seems like it has been raining forever. The rain really takes a toll on my sinuses, not to mention my attitude. I don’t know how my daughter, who lives in Juneau, Alaska, can function in all the rain. If you are not aware, Juneau is a rainforest, just not a tropical one. It rains there a lot! My daughter says you can tell who the tourist are, because they are the ones with umbrellas.
I just didn’t feel like “dressing up”, so I decided on a comfy sweatshirt. Of course, I still wanted to be stylish, so I pulled out this C & C California snow leopard print sweatshirt. The material is pretty thick on this shirt, so it was nice and warm. I wanted to keep the look from going to “dowdy”, so I added some pearl jewelry. The pearl dangle earrings and the large pearl necklace, both came from Cato’s. The smaller bar necklace is a newer purchase from T J Maxx. It is an A.V. Max, and here is a similar one.
Here is a closer look at the necklace’s. I bought the bar necklace because I don’t have many short necklace’s. The trend is to layer your necklace’s, but it hurts my neck and gives me a headache, if they are too heavy. So, this seemed like a “light” option.
How about these bracelets? The two on the left are By the Book bracelets. These two have charms that reference bible verses. One is Philippians 4:13, and the other is Jeremiah 29:11. The silver link bracelet is from T J Maxx and the wrap bracelet, is from the OVC outlet store, and was only 2.00.
Now finally, to the shoes. If you read my blog, then you know I don’t pay a lot for my clothes. So, you might be wondering how I have a pair of Chanel espadrille shoes. It’s simple, I got them by default. Let’s just say, I’m glad my sister is smaller than me, when it comes to shoes. After I looked them up on the internet, I am fairly certain these will be the only Chanel shoes I will own. Hahaha
Unless, my sister comes across another pair. I hope the next pair has heels. Lol
I hope you enjoyed my more laid back look. But, I look forward to the sun coming back tomorrow.

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. This sweater is awesome. I like that it is in shades of gray and the sleeves are different. Great find, great styling. Have a nice weekend.
That is the cutest shirt!
Thanks Elaine. I love it, too!
It’s the same in Seattle – only the tourists carry an umbrella! This is such a lovely look on you, from head to toe!
I love this look on you and the shoes are really cute!
Thanks Debbie????
I love the By the Book bracelets and I am thinking they would make great Christmas gifts. Did you buy those or receive them as gifts? Any reason for those particular verses? Those are definitely 2 of my favorites after walking with the Lord for more than 45 years.
I bought them at a little tea shop on the square in Marietta. I actually bought 4 different ones, I just love those verses. I did buy several bracelets for Christmas presents. I paid more for mine than the link I put up, so I might actually buy a few more for presents.
Comfy and chic! Love it and you look great.
I love your style and your attitude. Not uptight like some of the fashion blogs. And you always look great and so “put together”. Please keep on posting!
Thanks Lisa! I love that compliment????
You had my attention at Leopard and Chanel! You do have a very good sister. I’ve been admiring your polish…do you know the color and/or company?
Donna, I do have a good sister! The polish is OPI and is called Romeo and Joliet. This is the first time I have ever gotten the same color back to back times.
Cute cute cute outfit. The leopard shirt! AND the shoes are so much fun. My feet don’t like shoes much anymore, so my shoe fashion is lacking style, but those are so fun. I’ve been considering a bar necklace. Today might just be the day I go shopping for one. Thanks for the link!
Holy cow! Take those off your feet and put them on Ebay! We’ll split the profit. 🙂
I didn’t think you looked them up. What a good sister you are????
