LEGGINGS THAT CAN BE DRESSED UP OR DOWN
Yesterday was a cold and rainy day. Wouldn’t you know that on a day like that, I had to go and run some errands? I hate having to venture outside the door when it is misting rain; I just want to snuggle up with my pup and play on my computer. All weekend long, the sun was shining, and instead of being smart and getting my grocery shopping done then, I procrastinated and had to go to the store. It was either go to the store, or Joe and I were going to have to drag our buts around on the carpet since I needed toilet paper. Hahaha!
I might have exaggerated just a little bit on that last statement, but I thought that you might like a good laugh. Joe and I would never drag our buts on the carpet because we don’t have any carpet. Plus, we would get splinters on the hardwood floors. Lol! But, I did have to go to the store and grab a few things. I have recently gotten in the habit of ordering a lot of my groceries online and having them delivered to the house. That is so easy to do, and I wouldn’t have gotten wet if I had placed an order. I usually use Amazon, Walmart, or Target to get my items, but since they don’t deliver everything that I need, I would still have to go to an actual store anyway. How many of you take advantage of online grocery shopping?
I love the softness of this sweater, and also the softness of the colors. This light gray sweater is adorable in person! The light blue in the print grabbed my eye. This sweater has a relaxed fit, and it hits me right at the hips. I saw that someone left a review on the sweater that said that it was itchy, but I don’t find it itchy at all. Someone else complained that it had some wool in the material, so I guess that you can’t please everybody. 
The sweater is machine washable and lay flat to dry. It is a roomy fit, so the medium that I am wearing fits me perfectly. It has ribbed hem and cuffs and a round neckline. I think that you will get a ton of compliments wearing this sweater! It looks great with my black leggings, but it would also look great with jeans and white pants also. These Ponte leggings are the BOMB! This is the first time that I have ordered leggings from Chico’s, but I can promise you that it won’t be the last. The reason that I ordered this pair was because of the snap detailing at the hem. You know that I like details that make a plain item turn into something special. The material in the leggings is also impressive. It is thick, and it has just enough stretch in the material to hold you in tightly, but not to make you feel like you are all bound up. I love that these leggings can be dressed up or worn casually; they are practically perfect in every way. I am wearing a size 1 in these, and I love the way that they fit. My gray and black espadrilles are hand-me-down, hand-me-down. Lol! These shoes were a pair that my sister got given to her from one of her friends. They were too big for her, so she gave them to me. WooHoo!!! Who gives away Chanel shoes??? I love these for their casual elegance, but there is no way on earth that I would ever pay those prices. So, instead, let’s see if I can find some cheaper alternatives.

Just wished these leggings came in colors. I need navy, gray & burgundy. Trying to avoid black as It is not my best color.

Cute sweater and I like how the detail on the leggings elevates the outfit! I like to order groceries online from Kroger or Walmart but I like to drive up and let them load up my car.
Love those shoes! I dont own a pair of leggings but I’m usually late to the party. I’m seeing if it’s a trend or a staple thing. LOL I haven’t tried the new grocery app I downloaded a few weeks ago, I do like going to it and making out my list though. I don’t submit it, just use it to go by when I make out my list,
I haven’t tried Walmart grocery order yet but I order all paper products, cleaning supplies, toothpaste, soap, etc for delivery. I hate to shop so it is fantastic to have these things delivered to my door.\

Loved your sense of humor. Outfit looks great. Bought a similar sweater for a steal but it just wasn’t me so I returned it. I wasn’t sure where I would wear it.
You always look so amazing and I’ve learned a lot from your pictures. I love your sweet nature! I have a question. Do you ever feel overwhelmed owning so many things? Do we really need all this stuff to feel pretty? All the material items are never ending. Trying to keep up every season with the “right” clothes, jewelry, shoes, purses, makeup, hair, nails. I feel as women we are never enough and we are encouraged to keep buying and buying to be better. We spend so much of our life thinking about material things. Life is so short. I am so lucky where I live as we have several supermarkets nearby that all deliver. Plus the town I live in is big enough for us to have a 24 hour Walmart or Asda as it is in the UK. If you go shopping at 11pm you can almost guarantee that there will be no one but the staff in the supermarket. Love the sweater although I am trying to incorporate more spring clothes as I am tired of being bundled up in sweaters lol

Love, love those leggings with the bottom accents on the legs!! I wear leggings all the time for the comfort. Cute sweather, too!! I did online grocery shopping thru Target once. The delivery person didn’t put the bags where I indicated. Then my credit card for used by some thief, and I had to straighten that out. I do, however, order enough thru Amazon to break the bank. I also do most of my other shopping online.
Barbara, these leggings are awesome! I ordered from Target this time, but we don’t have a Target near us, so mine will come by FedEx. I am limited on what I can order, nothing that needs refrigeration, etc. We’ll see how it works.
Another cute sweater! The touches of blue just make it. I have used Peapod for my grocery shopping for over 10 years. Last week they abruptly dropped the Chicago market. I am struggling to find an alternative. This week I’m trying a local store that uses Insta cart. I hated the app & the entire process was cumbersome. I’m going to try Walmart next. I will probably try several before I find my happy place again. I do almost all my shopping on line. How did we manage before this was the norm?
Kathy, I thought that the blue made the sweater also! I tried a local grocery chain here in town, but the online process was a huge pain. I used Target this time since they do free 2-day delivery. It is supposed to be delivered today, so I’ll let you know how it turns out.
