This is a TREAT day for you, and no TRICKS are up my sleeve. If you thought that have one blogger show you ideas and styles, then imagine how much information that you could get from FOUR bloggers!!! That is what is at your fingertips today since me and three of my blogging besties are all teaming up to bring you a post featuring knitwear.

Jennifer, Susan, and Deborah will all be highlighting knitwear that they have found, and I know that it will be something fabulous. When we first started talking about doing a knitwear post, I found myself wondering exactly what type of knitwear I would showcase.

When I think of knitwear, I think of sweater sets or a sweater and a sweater skirt. But, I didn’t have any of those on hand, so then I thought about highlighting a beautiful sweater. I happened to have a new sweater that just arrived in the mail, and I know that you will find it just as beautiful as I did.

Each year I try to buy at least one luxury cashmere sweater, and they are all purchases that I treasure. I buy a lot of more affordable clothing, but I find that that one splurge purchase is what I end up keeping and wearing for years. Cashmere never goes out of style, and a cable-knit design is a classic pattern that is beautiful and stylish.

This gorgeous blue cable-knit mock neck sweater is super soft and a tiny bit oversized. I love the drop shoulders and the relaxed fit. I ordered a medium, and the fit is great and not a bit tight or confining.

If you are like me, then you want to know if you will be able to wear the sweater with leggings. The answer is, YES! The sweater features a step-down hem and a side slit making it easy to sit and move around without the sweater pulling. You will need to hand wash or dry clean the sweater, and lay it flat to dry. The sweater also comes in a beautiful cinnamon spice color, and it was a hard decision for me when I ordered it. You can’t go wrong with either color!

This sweater is on sale for 30% off, but it is still expensive. I did find several that will give you the same look, but at a more affordable price, so that will give you options.

I added gold jewelry from Kendra Scott to my outfit. You see me wear these large gold hoop earrings all of the time, and that is because I love them. They make a huge statement, but they aren’t heavy. I hate heavy earrings, and these have never bothered me at all.

The multi-strand Jack necklace can be worn with the gold side showing or the crystal side. I normally wear the gold side for an everyday look, but, for a holiday look, I can flip it to the crystal side for more sparkle. The necklace is on final clearance, and it is at an incredible price. The multi-color necklace is sold out, but the clear crystal and a charcoal crystal version are still available. Although, they probably won’t last long at that price.

The last piece of jewelry that I am wearing is an 18kt gold vermeil cross necklace. I wear this daily, although some days it might be tucked inside my shirt.

The cashmere sweater is warm enough to be worn by itself, but I found the prettiest puffer vest that I’ve ever seen, and I had to share it with all of you. I have a love/hate relationship with puffer vests. Most of them add so much unwanted bulk to my already chunky frame, that I steer clear of them. But, this one with the floral pattern and the gorgeous colors dared me to give it a try. I am so glad that I did, and I can see wearing this in the spring of the year also.

I am wearing a medium in the vest, and it fits me perfectly and zips easily. If you love the puffer also, be sure to use the code TANIA at checkout for an extra 10% off your entire purchase!

Here is a view from the side so that you can see the length of the puffer. Even though the sweater is longer than the vest, I still like the look.

This leather camel crossbody wallet sure comes in handy with you are out shopping. It holds everything that I need to take shopping and not all the crap that is in my over-filled handbag. I throw a credit card, my driver’s license, and my phone in here, and I am all set for the day. If I am feeling really fancy, then I’ll also throw in some lip balm or gloss. Lol!

When I ordered these 9″ high-rise skinny jeans, I ordered two sizes. I loved the color and style of the jeans, but I wasn’t sure how they would fit. I usually wear a size 30, but the last two pairs of jeans that I had ordered in that size were too big. So, I ordered a size 30 and also a 29 just to cover my bases. These are the 29, and I like the way that these jeans feel and fit, so I’ll be sending back the other pair.

This suede chunky heel is a perfect neutral for this fall. The heel is not that high at 1 3/4″ so I think that most of you could manage this shoe. I love the pointy toe since it will elongate your legs, and make you look tall and lean. This shoe is on sale at 40% off, and there are several different colors and styles to choose from. I am wearing the cognac suede, even though it looks much darker on the website.

I want to remind you to go and check out my blogging friends. Jennifer, Susan, and Deborah all have amazing styles, and I know that you are going to love them. Be sure to leave a comment that I sent you!!!

I LOVE the vest. I think it would slip right on into spring also. We don’t have much spring or fall so something that covers both seasons is smart $$$.

  2. I love the vest!!! I just can’t find it. Apparently Vera doesn’t deliver to me (never had that problem before) and it’s not available in the vera stores near me.

  3. Gail E Medeiros says:

Beautiful outfit. I am getting very frustrated. I keep subscribing to your emails and I get them for a few weeks and then nothing. They are not in my spam folder as I check it regularly. What am I doing wrong?

  4. That blue sweater is a great color on you !

    1. Mary Jo, I thought they were super cute too!

  7. This is my favorite shade of blue! It looks gorgeous on you. The cables are perfect too! Cashmere is my preferred knit so I need this sweater has my name all over it!

    1. You will love this sweater, it is soooo nice!

  8. Great sweater! Beautiful color! I like the vest but I never wear them. I Think I will and I will once or twice. Then they get pushed to the back. Your nails are so cute and creative.

    1. I love the sweater also, the color and the softness is what I love!

  9. krista rogers says:

While I truly love that vest, I feel like you and your friends missed the mark on “knitwear”. I normally think of knitwear as well, knit…

    1. Krista, it is possible that we did, but since sweaters are knitted, that is why they are considered knitwear.

  10. Hi Tania. I love a luxuriously soft cashmere sweater and this one is beauty. The vest is a cute idea too. I’m big on layered looks for fall! Cheers, Deborah

    1. I love to layer clothing also, and I am sure that since you live in Canada, it is necessary!

  11. Beautiful sweater, Tania! I love a good cable knit. And the color is so pretty!

    1. A cable knit is my sweater of choice, and the color of this one made it irresistible to me!

    1. I thought that the colors looked beautiful together!

  12. Johanna LaRose says:

Love the beautiful blue color with the vest. Since I am not a fan of fall – this would help me ease into the season! I typically like to keep most opinions to myself but when it comes to cashmere – and angora – I have to speak for the poor defenseless animals who are treated so poorly and inhumanely in order to get their fur. Even tho the sweater os gorgeous I believe I will still with organic cotton!
Loved the input from the other bloggers. Great post and thanks for all you do! I am sure there is way more work involved in this then we know!

  13. This is a lovely outfit but that sweater is $259. I’m a 61yo college professor and I would hesitate to buy that. I don’t know many women that would be able to or could justify spending that on one sweater. I shop sales at Talbots and enjoy their clothes but I thought a bit of perspective may be helpful.
