A Holiday Outfit With Sparkle
Have you ever heard the saying, “A day late and a dollar short”? I think whoever coined that saying, must have known me. This outfit was my Christmas Eve outfit, and I meant to have it on the blog then, but I didn’t take the computer that had the pictures loaded on it to my mom and dad’s. Therefore, you get to see them now. Tada! 
This black sparkly top is perfect for any holiday occasion. Can’t you see it looking great for New Year’s Eve? I was shocked when I found this top at Rue 21. I NEVER find anything at Rue 21, but I found this top and the Winesday sweater I wore the other day. Here is the link, but online they only had the pus size. 
And what holiday outfit would be complete without a Frosty The Snowman Hat? This is the cutest hat ever! I bought it at least 5 years ago from a company called RAZ Imports. They have the most amazing decorating type items, but their Christmas items are unreal. If you look in nice stores, you will see their tag on items. 
My daughter wanted to pick out my outfit, so I hesitantly agreed. You would have to know my daughter to understand my reluctance. But, I must say she did great. I tried to talk her out of the plaid leggings, because I had worn them recently, but she was stubborn.
She also picked out all my vintage accessories. The necklace, bracelet, and cherry drop earrings are all bakelite. Honestly, I would not have picked out the yellow necklace, but it really popped on the black. 
I may have to see if I can talk her into sticking around a little longer to help me with my outfits. She has a fresh (aka young) perspective.

Very cute! That’s a nice top. Doubt I could get away w/the leggings, if I had the nerve. But, I must say, not bad!????
What a fun outfit. Love the sparkly top and that is a looser top and not skin-tight. So many sparkly tops fit like a second skin. As usual you hit it out of the park.
