FRINGE PONCHO AND BOOTS
I hope everyone is ready for 2017. A brand new year is ahead of you with all kinds of possibilities. I am very excited for this coming year, it is starting out great. Let me share a story from Christmas Eve. It was probably about 8:30 that night when my son and daughter-in-law got to the house. They had been to Kayla’s grandmother’s house to celebrate with her family first. Emersyn came running into the house so excited to start opening presents. Joseph and Kayla were bringing in things out of the car so Emersyn ran to my and asked me to take her coat off for her. She had on a gray peacoat and looked cute as a button. I unbuttoned her coat for her and started taking it off when I noticed her shirt that she had on. It simply said, Big Sister!!! Yep, I am going to be a grandmother again!
Emersyn was not interested in talking about being a big sister at all. She had already run into the living room and was starting to tear into a large present. I told her she had to wait until everyone had their presents. She passed them out and then ran back to the large one. I asked her how she knew that was hers and she said she just knew it was. She started ripping into the package which was bigger than her. She kept tearing off pieces of paper and then she finally said, “Yes! I knew it!!!” It was a Barbie Dreamhouse that she had been asking for. She was a happy little camper for sure.
Joe and I were happy little campers too. Lol! Let’s talk about this poncho. First off, I love the color. I bought the poncho last year at Cato Fashions and here is how I styled it last year. I wear my clothing for years but I try to change up the way I style them so that it looks different each time. It is so easy to fall into the habit of wearing what you know looks good together instead of branching out and trying new looks. I linked one poncho below that is over a $1,000.00! I am doing this on certain items, not to tell you to buy crazy expensive items, but to show you that you can still look great with a thriftier purchase. Let me know if you can spot the most expensive item.
I thought turquoise looked good against the wine poncho. I have a pair of turquoise earrings surrounded by small rhinestones on. They are called the Sungloe.
This necklace has the cutest saying stamped into the little copper plate. It says “Bless Your ❤️” how cute is that? I even did a blog post about this saying back in July. This is the Ada.
Here is the matching bracelet to the Sungloe earrings. It is called the Eunice. The part that looks white is actually small rhinestones. The bangle bracelet was one of the Monday Madness specials and is no longer available. I didn’t mention the longer necklace (it was a special and no longer available) or the host of bangles I have on the other hand. There are so many of them that I didn’t want to link them. If you are interested in one of them you can simply type in bangle in the search box and it will bring all of them up. To place an order go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/50isnotold. One of my goals for 2017 is to grow my fledgling business in Plunder and Rodan and Fields. I have a goal to add at least one person per month. Plunder is helping me with this goal.
I feel bad that I just had two ladies join my Plunder team last week. I hate when a deal comes out right AFTER you do something. So, I am going to send my two new ladies 3 pieces of jewelry from my personal stash to make up the difference. ? Joining Plunder is 99.00. That is not a huge amount of money for starting your own business but I want to make it even easier. If you join Plunder with me, I will offer to pay half of your kit back to you. If you are interested, then email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com
I am not sure if the poncho or these beautiful boots are the stars of this show. These boots were sent to me back a month or so ago by Rialto Shoes and even though I loved them I just never found the perfect thing to wear with them. As soon as I put on the poncho I knew this was the perfect compliment to the boots. They are a two-tone suedette, even the chunky heel is covered. I got SEVERAL compliments on these shoes today. However, if you order this pair I think you should size up. I ordered my normal size but they are a little tight, especially around the calf.
I love the look of these pants by Talbots. They fit like a glove and I love the color. I bought these last year and I will get many years of wear out of them unless I gain a bunch of weight. Lol! I didn’t feel good Sunday, my stomach was upset all day long. I was afraid I was getting that stomach virus that has been going around but I was hungry all day long. I ate and would immediately start looking for something else to eat. Whew! I hope this goes away quickly or I will be a Two-Ton Tessie. The purse is by GILI and it is one that I bought at the overstock store in town. This had a flaw because one of the rivets that hold the handle to the purse was messed up. I bought it for 25.00 and then had Gerald fix it for me at work for about .50 cents. I love bargains!!!
TODAY is the last day for the Lash Boost Holiday Special from Rodan and Fields. I was getting dressed Saturday night to go the New Year’s Eve party at our local Country Club and Joe came into the bathroom as I was applying my mascara. He must have been watching me because he said, “Are those false eyelashes?” I about fell out of my chair! I just smiled at him and said, “No, they are courtesy of Rodan and Fields.” Wasn’t that sweet of him to even notice? To order, Lash Boost go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.com. I am refunding any Lash Boost order placed today $10.00. I have several of you email me about becoming a PC. I know it is a little confusing so I will try to break it down for you. To become a PC, you hit the subscribe and save, link. The cost is a one-time charge of 19.95. You will then receive 10% off EVERY order that is over 80.00 and you will also get FREE shipping and handling. Normally your first order will pay for the 19.95 charge. Remember, Rodan and Fields offers a 60-day money back guarantee!!!
Joining Rodan and Fields has three levels you can join at. If you join me in my business with at least the 395.00 kit, I will also offer to reimburse you half of your kit back to you. You could start a business and only have 200.00 invested, email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com Since Plunder decided to give an incentive to those signing up this month, I will give one for R & F too. If you signup with the 395.00 kit then I will refund you 50.00, the 695.00 kit will get you a 75.00 refund, and the 995.00 kit will get you a 100.00 refund. Awww, thanks Rebecca!

Such exciting news about the grandbaby!
Congrats on the great news Tania! I ordered my lash boost last night, can’t wait to start using it!
I am loving mine. I ordered an extra one too. It takes a good three to four weeks of use before you can tell a big difference. Make sure to wipe off most of the serum before you apply to your eyelid. You apply just like it is eyeliner. Let it dry for about 90 seconds and then off to bed. It “travels” some, that is why you don’t need to apply a large amount. You don’t want it to get in your eye. I did that the first night, thinking more is better, and my eye was red the next day. Lol! I learned the hard way. Haha
Congratulations on your news.
Tania, you look gorgeous as usual. Congratulations on the great news!
Congratulations!! What a lovely way to tell you, Do you always open presents on Christmas Eve ?(usually a European custom.
We open on Christmas Eve from the family. If Santa brings presents then those are opened Christmas day.
Love the colour of your poncho Tania and how you teamed it up with matching boots!
Happy 2017!

Your outfit is beautiful. I am going to look for a poncho today since there are so many great sales. You kicked it out of the park today and have inspired me.
Congratulations Tania! Wonderful news! I love the outfit.
I just received a Midi leather skirt. Have you done anything with a midi skirt?
Susan, I have never done a midi skirt. I like maxi and shorter, but the midi has been a length that has been a problem for me 🙁
Love the poncho. Your whole outfit is fabulous! And congrats on your news!

Love the poncho! I need to go to Cato soon. I haven’t been there in awhile. I’ve noticed I don’t find as many things I like there anymore. I used to be able to find something there every time I went. Maybe my tastes are changing. Lol.
