My Friday Favorites will take on fashion. I have been showing you some of my favorite items for the past few weeks, and if you didn’t see the one on Organizing, then be sure to check that out. I ordered in the makeup organizer, the palette organizer, and a brush holder all for my bathroom countertop. I’ll include a photo below of my goodies for you to see.

I get asked all of the time about where I shop. The truth is, I can shop at a gas station, and find something of value. Lol! That might be the reason that I am having to do a major purge at my house. I know that what they want to know is what are the clothing stores that I shop the most. So, today, I am going to show you some of my favorites, and a few items from each that are special.

These are in alphabetical order because I couldn’t choose one brand over the other.

Ann Taylor

I love shopping at Ann Taylor because I think the clothing and quality are fantastic. When I am needing a polished and professional look, this is the first store that I check out. I know that this is my sister’s go-to store for everything. You can find the perfect pair of dress pants, a blazer, or a dress for that special occasion. Also, Ann Taylor has a huge sale ongoing. 40% OFF*** FULL-PRICE STYLES thru 8-29, 50% OFF PANTS, DENIM, SKIRTS & JACKETS thru 8-29, plus Free Shipping with a $49 order.

You should know by now that Chico’s clothing is my jam. I am not the only one who feels that way because I saw a comment on a post that I did and someone commented that 98% of her clothing comes from Chicos. Here are some of the reasons you should give Chicos a chance. They have very stylish and unique clothing that will last for a long time. Plus, I consider their clothing age-appropriate. While Chicos does have trendy clothing, almost everything will work for any woman over 40. I have heard several express dismay at the pricing, but all you have to do is wait for a sale. Chicos has amazing sales, and right now they have 50% off Select Styles.

Loft is more trendy than some of the other stores that I have linked. I have become a huge fan of their clothing, and like Chicos, they have a lot of great sales. And, Loft carries Lou & Grey which is a brand that is known for soft, soft, soft clothing. Loft has a sale right now and use the code LOVE.

Old Navy

I have introduced a lot of you to Old Navy. So many people have the preconception that Old Navy is a store for only women in their 30s and below. NOPE! That is not the case, and you can find a lot of clothing there that anyone could wear, no matter their age.

I think that some of you have the wrong view of Nordstrom. A lot of you have commented that Nordstrom only has high-priced items and that you can’t afford to purchase anything from them. I used to think the same thing, but I have found out that there are lots and lots of things that will fit any budget. You just need to go to the category you want to look at, let’s say jeans, and then put a filter on how much you want to spend. I put a filter of below $100, and here were some of my favorite picks. There were a whole lot more pages to look at, but I was getting tired and sleepy, so this is as far as I got. A bunch of these are on sale with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so make sure that you take advantage of that before it ends on Sunday!!!

This is Joe’s all-time favorite store! When he used to travel, he would go to Talbots and pick up an outfit for me. Joe NEVER buys me anything that I haven’t seen or asked for, so this was a HUGE deal! Every time I order clothing from Talbots, he will be throwing compliments my way. Lol! Talbot’s has their new fall arrivals on sale at 25% off, so check out the items that I picked.

Affordable, convenient, and the latest fashions is how I describe Walmart’s clothing. Walmart has really taken it up several notches in the last few years when it comes to fashion. I can find almost anything at Walmart, and most of us have a store within 10 miles of where we live. I still prefer ordering online since there are brands online that can’t be found in a store. Here are some cute items that I found for this fall.

I am super excited about a new feature that I just added to the blog. You can start cleaning out your emails because I am going to try and give you a one-stop Sale Alert feature page for all of you. In the MENU section of my blog, you will see “Stores I Shop.” Hover over that and then click on Get The Latest Sales Alerts. As the latest sales hit my email feed, I will update the page daily for you, so be sure to check back to see if anything has changed. Comment if you don’t see your favorite stores listed so I can get put on their email list.

PLEASE remember to pin my post on Pinterest, and every time that you SHARE my posts on Facebook or Instagram, it helps my blog to be found by other ladies who might be style challenged.

For those of you who still haven’t signed up for my daily email…JUST DO IT ALREADY!!!

Thanks so much for following me on my blog. Be sure to follow me on PinterestTwitterInstagramYouTube,  and Facebook.

I’ve been shopping at Chico’s for over 30 years (which is weird because I’m only 39 – at heart anyway LOL).
I still have clothing I bought in the 90’s, especially from their Travelers Collection. When you figure out how many wears you get for your money, Chico’s clothing is a great investment. They’re constantly offering coupons on their website & you can also sign up for their emails. Love them for both classic & unique, eye catching styles.

I shop at all of the stores you mentioned, I love your taste and appreciate seeing how you put outfits together. Unfortunately I need short or petite length jeans- so, I don’t have much success with Wal-Mart.

I shop all your picks. My husband and son notice my Talbots outfits. That is saying something since they are not into fashion. Talbots red hangar sales prices can not be beat. My closet is full of items I have bought during their sales. They are fun, practical and inexpensive(during sale)patval

I enjoy reading your Bible quotes. Thanks for the quiet reassuring messages

Hi Tania, thank you for identifying the clothing stores that you shop at. I’ve been reading your posts for some time now & admire your style and taste in clothing. Since I live in Canada, some of the great deals that you post are unavailable to me.

Leslie, if you will let me know about some of the larger stores in CA, I will see if they are stores here in the US also. I don’t want to leave any of you out.
