Everything You Need For Back To School With JCPenney
Can you believe it is already time to start thinking about back-to-school supplies? My children are past school age, but I have five grandchildren that are in school. I’ve been helping their parents put together a list of clothing, shoes, lunchboxes, and school supplies that they will need for the upcoming year. I’m going to share everything you need for back to school, and I found it all at JCPenney. You’re in luck because they are having a Black Friday in July Event now through the 23rd!
Everything You Need For Back To School – College Apartment
I figured that most of my audience has older kids, and setting up an apartment or home was something you might be interested in seeing. Plus, if you’re like me, there are a few things you need to get for yourself. I love the Accent Chair with Ottoman, and all the first-timers who are living on their own could use a Smart Clean Robotic Vacuum.
Everything You Need For Back To School – College Dorm
I know when my children started college, they had to spend their first year in the dorm. Even though they think they want to be out on their own, most will experience a bout with homesickness. The cozier their dorm is, the easier it will be for them to adjust. The Ultra Soft Down Alternative Reversible Comforter and Cooling Microfiber Patterned Sheet Set will make their bed warm and inviting. And to keep them well fed, the BlendJet 2 Personal Blender is great for fixing a smoothie or protein shake on the run.
Everything You Need For Back To School – Girls’ Clothing
My grandkids aren’t ready for college, so they aren’t needing dorm decor. But, they seem to outgrow their clothing very quickly and are always needing new shoes. I wanted the olive A-Line Skirt and denim Long Sleeve Shirt Dress! My granddaughter will flip out over the Pink Multi Lace-Up Sneakers and Pink Bubblegum Backpack!
Everything You Need For Back To School – Boys’ Clothing
My older grandsons are going through a growing spurt, and my soon to be 12 year old is catching up to me fast. He is already taller than his older sister, and I bet he will be looking down on me soon. I love all of these clothes, and I can see my grandsons wearing them. The sneakers are perfect, and the Messenger Bag is a great alternative to a bookbag.
Everything You Need For Back To School – School Uniforms
One of my best friends has a child who has to wear a uniform to school, and she struggles each year to find clothing for her. The polo shirts come in several colors, and I’m wild about the pleated scooter skirt. Add the White Lace-Up Sneakers, and you have the perfect school uniform.
Everything You Need For Back To School – Lunch Essentials
School lunches are much better than when I was a child. But, my grandkids prefer taking their lunch since they know they will like it. The Bentgo 7 PC. Salad Food Container and the All In One Lunch Box are so smart and would also be great to take to work. I love how the salad container keeps everything separate.

Tania, you and Joe are a hoot! I’ve been married for 42 years and can relate to so many of your stories. He obviously adores you and vice versa. Keep on ‘throwing Joe under the bus’. Humor and entertainment are a part of your charm!
A lot of really good ideas for dorms, to make them feel comfortable and maybe not be home sick.
I know what you mean about planting a seed when someone doesn’t like your outfit. I have always liked paisley prints but when my granddaughter said it looked like it was for old woman now I avoid it. lol. It’s happened a few times through the years. I don’t think it’s rude to say you don’t like the clothes or the company that’s being promoted on blogs. On YouTube people are more rude criticizing the taste of the presenter. I just won’t say anything. I just won’t read it or watch. I read fashion blogs to see if there’s something I may like or information on styling. Sometimes I already bought what they are presenting or on a widget. Most of the time the clothes are too expensive for me. It’s just fun to read fashion blogs. Tania you had a Loft widget with wide leg jeans with little patch pockets in front. I already had ordered them. I call them my 70s jeans. It’s too hot for me to wear them now but once it gets to 90 I might. I can’t believe a high of 90 is cool. Your husband stories are so funny.
Our school lunches were good as kids-a healthy balance of food and actually homemade! What is served now is much more like junk food, with the exception of fresh fruit. Sadly many students don’t want to eat that.
My husband is my best shopping buddy! He will bring me things to try on while I’m in the dressing room and has a really good eye.
Your comments about your husband are so funny! Here’s one about my husband: this was my second marriage at age 50 so future hubby and I went looking for my “wedding dress”. I was not wearing white, just looking for something flattering. Well, I tried on a jade green dress (which I discovered was his favorite color) and he said and I quote, “well, you won’t be able to fit into anything else, so buy that one”. Honestly, he really said that! at the time I was a size 14. The dress was sort of an empire waist thing and granted, I do have large hips, but really!
Linda, it sounds like you married a “Joe” with no filter. Lol!
