Dressy Sandals

When I saw these chain link slides from Chico’s, I knew I needed them! They are chic, comfortable, and very on-trend. The chain is made with a mix of silver and gold links, which allows you to wear them with whatever jewelry you prefer.

#2. Embellished T-Strap Sandal

You girls know that I love raffia accessories, and this pair of raffia t-strap sandals from Walmart are so cute for spring and summer! The rhinestone embellishments make them dressy enough that you can wear them with nicer dresses and pants, but still casual enough that you can wear them with denim shorts or jeans.

#3. Neutral Braided Leather Sandal

I love when I find a beautiful sandal that I can pair with all of my colorful tops and dresses! This neutral-colored braided leather sandal from Chico’s is so unique and adds so much texture to an outfit. I can see myself wearing these often this summer!

#4. Buckle Strap Sandal

How beautiful are these gold buckle strap sandals? I know several of my readers swear by Vionic shoes, and I have to agree that they are extremely comfortable! The strap with the buckle is adjustable, which is helpful if you have narrow feet.

#5. Sam Edelman Waylon Slide Sandal

I took these slides by Sam Edelman with me on our recent trip to Mexico! They were great for daytime activities, but I also wore them to dinner in the evenings. I have them in the rich cognac color, but you can also grab them in black, white, and tan.

#6. Sam Edelman Bay Cutout Slides

I have also been keeping these Sam Edelman cutout slides in my regular rotation this spring. They are so easy to slide on with a sundress or jeans! If you prefer a flat sandal without any kind of heel or platform, this is a great option.

Heels and Wedges

#7. TOMS Classic Wedge Sandal

I know many of you don’t love wearing shoes with heels, BUT I think you should give these wedges a try. I was shocked that TOMS of all brands made them and that a wedge like this was actually comfortable to walk or stand in for long periods of time. They will be in your closet for years.

#8. Vince Camuto Haydorn Platform Sandal

I wanted to try these platform shoes by Vince Camuto, and I was surprised at how comfortable they were! I styled them with bootcut jeans, but I can’t wait to try them with some different dresses. They are currently 40% off!

#9. Time and Tru Puffy Short Heel

A nude heel like these puffy short ones from Walmart are my go-to when I am styling a dress to head to church, wedding, graduation, etc. They look great with everything, plus they are very comfortable for a long day on your feet! You can’t beat the price point either.

#10. Espadrille Wedge Sandal

I’m telling you all that Walmart’s shoe selection is amazing this year! Here is yet another pair from their Time and Tru brand that I am loving for spring and summer. These espadrille wedges even have a memory foam footbed for extra comfort!

11. Vince Pia Wedge

These contemporary stacked heel wedge slides from Vince come in three other neutral shades. The square toe, sleek and soft leather, and untraditional wedge shape make for a very unique and modern-looking shoe that I think would look so nice with a flared or bootcut pants or a classy black dress.

Non-Sandal Options

#12. Suede Heel Pumps

These suede pumps from J. Crew Factory are surprisingly comfortable! They will be perfect to wear to a spring or summer wedding, or for date night styled with a pair of denim. I love the pop of pink, but they also come in tan and black!

#13. Naturalizer Pointed Toe Slingbacks

These classy low-heeled slingbacks by Naturalizer are wonderful if you love the look of a pointed-toe dress shoe, but your feet can’t handle walking in a pump. I have had several pairs of shoes by Naturalizer, and every pair has been so comfortable and high-quality.

#14. Leather Flat

Ballet flats are a great option to wear on cooler, spring days, or on days when you are overdue for a pedicure. This white leather pair will go with everything in your closet, and will look great for everything from the office, church, going out to lunch, and more!

#15. Nike Air Max Dawn Sneaker

If you need a new pair of sneakers to wear with leggings, joggers, or denim shorts, you should try these Nike Air Max Dawns. The plush cushioning make my feet so happy, so I think I’ll be reaching for these often when I have a lot of walking to do!

Cute shoes and so many choices. I also have foot issues so heels are not an option for me anymore.

I’m really behind on reading your posts because we had internet issues a while back. Can you post a pic of how or what you leave the snacks in for delivery drivers? I think it’s so sweet of you to do this.

    1. MaryCarol, I hate internet issues! I’m glad you got everything working again. I leave snacks in my package shed because I don’t have a porch. The shed keeps the snacks and packages from getting wet. I have soooo many packages delivered to my house, and I want to give my drivers a small thank you gift. I usually have chips, cookies, cakes, Slim-Jims (Their favorite), and waters in the shed.

Thanks for providing some low heeled options.

  3. While I appreciate the close ups of all these great shoes, I feel it’s hard to get an idea how they look on without seeing the whole body. Adding a close up of the full body with each pair modeled would give more of a sense of what they look like and whether or not they look cute! Just my opinion.

  4. Tania,
While I adore your blog and so enjoy looking at all the fashions etc., for ladies, like myself, with Plantar Fasciitis and heel pain, most of the shoes that you showcase are not an option. I would love if you fashioned some of the (not so attractive) shoes that ladies in my shoes–pun intended, are forced to wear.

    Fondly,
    Lorrie

    1. Lorrie, I do understand about Plantar Fasciitis. It was plaguing me too, but heels were the thing that I could wear. I started wearing Hoka Recovery Slides every day in the house and put these inserts in my sneakers. My Plantar Fasciitis is almost completely gone, and I hardly ever feel any pain from it at all now.

I love the navy top with the pink flowers that you have on in one of the photos. Is that new? Can you tell me where it’s from?

  6. Stephanie says:

Those Naturalizer sling backs might be exactly what I need for a mid length dress I have. Nordstrom also has some other colors in that style in sale.

  7. feel sorry for me. I have to use orthotics in my shoes and cannot wear any of these shoes!!! I only wear sneakers.

    1. Yes, I too have foot issues, and hope to see some fashions with the not so attractive shoes that we are forced to wear to avoid pain.

How nice of you to still leave out snacks for the delivery drivers. I guess you have not had an issue with critters taking a bag or two. We live way out in a very rural area with a lot of woods all around us, so I can picture various animals helping themselves, even during the day. You shared so many great shoe options for us from various price points. Thank you!

  9. Do the wedges hurt your feet if you walk very much in them? I love all of your shoe choices!

  10. Your orange fingers in the email was cute. It reminded me of back when I was young and working. I used to buy cheese popcorn and eat it at my desk. I would have orange fingers but had all these wet paper towels to clean them. I did leave a trail. The housekeeper one day said “I see you’ve been grazing again.”

All the shoes are so cute. I have versions of all. I have the pointed toe flat in natural. I’m waiting for the black one to go on sale but it never does.

  11. I just love the Walmart Time and Tru brand. Their shoes are affordable and so cute! Thanks for showcasing them here. Those wedge shoes are really eye catching!

  12. Hahaha! I have a great love for the ole Cheetos as well! Love the Sam Edelman sandals.

  13. Love the Chicos, but I have very narrow feet. The only place I can buy shoes is Marmi. I’m 72 and have been wearing Vanelli shoes since I was a teen!

    1. I have a couple of pairs by them, they are great.

  14. I love the look of slides, but I can’t stand the slap slap slap sound when I walk. The Sam Edelman slides are super cute.

    1. Wendy, I know the sound you mean. I’ve not noticed that with those slides. They fit well and don’t seem to flop.

  15. Melissa Palmer says:

Such a great post. I could look at shoes all day! Love both Chicos pairs.

  16. Lisa Franzen says:

Sadly, none of these will work for me. As a teacher for 39 years, my plantar fasciitis keeps me from wearing anything without great arch support. ..and they can’t be too flat. Cute shoes, though!

    1. Lisa, I have plantar fasciitis too. I wear my Hoka recovery slides during the day, and when I wear flats, I add an insert from Heel That Pain that helps.
