DO YOU WANT TO LOOK CUTESY

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is looking cutesy in her leopard print flutter sleeve top and bright pink skinny jeans from Old NavyAhhhh, sweet Saturday! I have missed you so badly. I had forgotten what it was like to work full/part-time, and still try to write the blog and answer any comments. My son and his family went on a work trip to Florida, and then they took the kids to Disney before they came back. So, I filled in while he was gone. Let me just say this…I have gotten spoiled since I have been at home for the most part. Lol!

For those of you who tell me that your hubby sounds like my Joe, let me be the first to tell you how sorry that I am. Lol! On Thursday, Joe and I went to Bristol, Tennessee, for an appointment, and then we went and had lunch. We stopped by Sam’s Club before we went home, and he did the grocery shopping while I shopped in a different part of the store. When I met up with him, he was so proud to show me that he had bought “me” some Oreo’s. Then, he put his foot in his mouth and said, “I bought you these to keep you fat.” He was teasing me, so I decided to tease him back. I said, “did you just call me fat?” “You didn’t say, ‘to get you fat,’ you said, ‘to keep you fat.” LOL! His eyes got big for a minute because he thought that I was furious at him. Then I busted out laughing and told him, “this story is hitting the blog!” Haha! He will never learn. Lol!
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is looking cutesy in her leopard print flutter sleeve top from Old NavyYou might have seen this top in my try-on session from Old Navy. If you missed that, then here is the link. I love this top! It is cutesy. I am not sure if women my age are considered cutesy, but I wouldn’t mind it if I were. Lol! The flutter sleeve is what makes the top cutesy instead of cute. They give the top a romantic vibe and a flirty look. The website calls this top a leopard print, but I am not too sure about that description. Yes, it is a spotted top in leopard colors, but calling it a leopard print might be a stretch.

The v-neck is a flattering look for most because it elongates your neck. This top is lightweight and flowy, and the material is 100% rayon. I have on a medium in this top, but it is just the tiniest bit tight through the chest. I think that I would be more comfortable in a large, so I sent this back to exchange for the larger size. Here is the link to the cutesy top. And, for those of you who like the flutter sleeve, but are sick of leopard print, here are a few other options.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is looking wearing a leopard print flutter sleeve top and gold jewelryI added gold jewelry to my look. The gold jewelry looked the best with this color palette. I am wearing a pair of earrings that were a gift with purchase called the Lonnie. They don’t exist on the website, but when I saw the Danielle Hoop earrings, I thought that they were the same earrings because they look a lot alike. I also am wearing my Maggie filigree bangle bracelet, and the Fallyn twisted link cuff. I love wearing these two pieces together! The Fallyn has been such a huge hit that it is currently out of stock. However, you can ask them to email you once it gets restocked.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is looking cutesy in her leopard print flutter sleeve top and bright pink skinny jeans from Old Navy and ballet flats from Michael KorsIn case you were wondering, yes, I kept these jeans! I don’t keep all of the clothing items that I style; I don’t have the room nor the bank account to do that. However, I keep items that I know that I will wear over and over and over, and these jeans are one of those. I love the bright Magenta pop of color, and I can see these looking great with a wide variety of tops. These are the “super-skinny” high waisted Rockstar version, and normally I will size up when I see the words, super skinny. However, I missed that little piece of information, and I ordered my usual size 10. I hope these don’t shrink or I will be in a world of hurt. Lol! Here is the link to these jeans, and it is up to you if you decide to size up. Here are a few more brightly colored jeans that you might like.

Okay- When you said to size up in the Old Navy Super Skinny Rockstar jeans, I figured that I would not be able to find any in my size this weekend due to the big 50% off sale on jeans. When I looked through the moss colored stack of jeans the largest size they had was a 14! I was very bummed out, but decided to try them because I joined WW in January and have lost 16 pounds and you said they were stretchy. THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE! I have a new favorite jean. I am thinking of getting some in every color now. So glad I saw them on you and decided to be brave! Love your blog.

  4. I love those magenta jeans with that top and those shoes are to die for. Life is a feast of color but some poor souls are starving to death. : )….OK, I ripped that off but you know what I mean. Bless you for sharing your wardrobe and life with us. I I look forward to your post.

  5. I bought the pink old navy sweater and this top as well. Thanks! I love your silver bracelets. I see you wearing them often. Links to them?

    1. You will love both of those items, Barb! The silver bracelets are from Tiffanys, and they were both gifts from Rodan + Fields.

  6. Hahahahahaha! Oh, Joe!!!!! Tania, you are so NOT fat! But I love these stories!!!!!!

    1. Joe is such a mess. He dearly loves to see if he can get my blood boiling.

  7. The top is fine. The pants are “cutesy” and are suited for 5 year olds.

    1. Wow Sue. Don’t know if it was intended but your comment came across as a little snarky and rude. The outfit is really cute and the pants are a beautiful color especially for Spring. What makes them “suited for 5 year olds?”

      1. You have to remember that some people have different ideas when it comes to fashion…and that is alright.

    2. Those would be some well-dressed 5-year olds. Lol!

Well, I love those jeans & thought I’d ordered them w/your try-on post, but got my order & those weren’t included. Darn! So I gotta re-order. Ha! But this outfit isn’t only cutesy, it is very sexy on you! The jewelry is perfect & ads alot! And I have to say again that I just LOVE your hair! SO flattering & stylish!

    1. Charlcy, you are always so sweet and leave the best comments.

  9. I love that top so much, I ordered it! Now I may have to get the blue one too!

  10. I love this outfit! It looks great on you. I think I need to head over to Old Navy for some cute, spring clothes! You look so slim and trim, I don’t know what Joe was talking about, lol.

    1. Joe loves to tease me, he is such a mess. Lol!

  11. I love your hair as well as the outfit!!!

I’m sorry but I don’t see a clickable link to your skin care website?

  13. I think you are cute and very pretty in this outfit!

  14. I love this look. Those magenta jeans are so great and fit you perfectly!! I love the top with it. I have a pair in a similiar color and love it with a denim shirt.

    1. I will have to put my denim shirt with these next.

  15. Ann Omalley says:

Tania, I tried on the top at Old Navy this week, also liked the sleeve detail! The medium was tight through the bust for me as well. It looks great with the pink jeans. I would never think to do that color with the top.

    1. The top was snug on me, not really tight. But sizing up wouldn’t hurt.

      1. Love the outfit!! Headed to ON now!! Have a great weekend!

        1. Have fun at ON, Betty!

  16. Monica Ercanbrack says:

OMG this was my favorite outfit I went to old navy to buy this outfit they were sold of my size on the top and didn’t even have this color Jean’s and do think cutesy is a word LOVE LOVE it
Perfect for Saturday or any day.
And don’t know how you do it all but I really appreciated it. Your so fun. And your Joe stories are so fun.

    1. Grab it online while it is still in stock!

  17. Barbara W. says:

Love the stories on Joe!!! Also, love the magenta skinny jeans!!. They are very flattering on you.

    1. Joe is a mess, but he is my mess. Lol!

  18. Why is it that there are so little sweaters and tees with a v neck? It looks so much better than a round neck. But I always have a hard time finding v necks. You’re Joe is a fun guy! Happy weekend.

    1. I agree that the v-necks are so much more flattering.
