CARAMEL IS THE PERFECT COLOR FOR FALL
My son accused me of being an agoraphobe. First off, I had no idea what that was, so I had to ask what it was and why he was calling me that. An agoraphobe is basically the fear of leaving your house, and he called me that because I am always sending him to the Post Office and the UPS drop off box. I laughed at him and told him that I was NOT an agoraphobe; I was just lazy and would rather send him. Lol!
My son has to go to the post office every day, so I see no reason why I should have to go if he is going anyway. I call that just plain smart. Plus, I went to all of the trouble of having him, so I might as well get a little compensation for that. Haha! He will whine, but he will do a lot of my errands for me. Don’t tell him, but I actually went to Walmart today to take something back and to pick up an order that I had placed. Then, I went to the lumber company to pick up an order of mine that got delivered out there instead of coming to the house. And, I might even go someplace tomorrow also, but let’s keep that between us. If he thinks that I am afraid to leave the house, I need to start sending him to the grocery store. Lol! He is going to regret the day that he ever brought this up.
Y’all, I don’t even know how to describe this sweater so that you understand how pretty it is. The cable-knit design is different from a classic cable-knit, and it is really outstanding. The color is a rusty color, and all of the little flecks give the sweater a lot of dimension. The ribbing on the hem, cuffs, and neck are a nice added touch. And I like that the turtleneck is snug but not tight around my neck. I am wearing a medium in the sweater, and it fits me perfectly.
I am not wearing a lot of jewelry today, but jewelry is the icing on an outfit, and you always need to have some on. The AVI large gold hoop earrings make a statement all by themselves. Even though they are large, they are not heavy. The Jack multi-strand glad necklace is gorgeous, and I love that it takes all of the work out of learning how to layer. With this necklace, you will always have the perfect layered look. I am wearing this necklace backward and showing the solid gold back. However, on the flip side, you will find gorgeous multi-colored crystals. I’ll show you a picture of where I wore it the other day.
I need to take a better photo of this necklace because this one does not do it justice.
The sweater could also be worn with jeans, but I chose to pair it with these caramel-colored corduroy pants to pick up on some of the sweater’s flecks. I love wearing corduroy in the fall and winter, and caramel is one of my favorite color schemes that I like to wear. Do you remember when I wore a pair of caramel-colored corduroy pants last week, and they all sold out, and so many of you couldn’t get them? Well, I found these and they are almost identical, but quite a bit cheaper. I am wearing my usual size 10 in these, and I am wearing the curvy size. They look great, are even a smidge big, and I love the high waistline on these.
The adorable calf hair leopard tote by Madewell is a subtle dotted print. I love the color of the tote, and I thought it looked great with this outfit. I am carrying the medium tote, but it is sold out. However, the smaller version is still online, and it is at a huge savings. I found the smaller tote on Nordstrom rack, but the regular Nordstrom website had it every cheaper. Lesson learned, always double-check to make sure that you are getting it at the best possible price. I am going to link both sites just in case one of them sells out of the tote.
The Chelsea ankle boots are a great caramel color. If anyone is playing the drinking game where you have to take a drink every time someone says a word (caramel), then you should be plenty hydrated by now. Lol! This color is perfect for fall, and you will be able to wear these boots with lots and lots of different outfits. These boots are a pull-on style, and they have a 2 1/2 inch chunky heel, which isn’t horribly high. They run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9 in these.
Rodan and Fields just announced their Holiday Gift Sets. I love these sets because they are 20% off, and who doesn’t like saving money?
I use all of these products, so I am sure that I will take advantage of my savings. Lash Boost (you all know how gorgeous my lashes are) and Brow Defining Boost are a fantastic combo, especially since so many of us are wearing masks.
When you have dry skin like me, this is a fabulous Holiday set. The winter can wreak havoc on your skin, so this will keep you hydrated AND give you the lashes you are looking for.
I use the Active Hydration Serum, but the microdermabrasion paste is not something that I use regularly. Many people swear by this scrub for keeping their hands and heels soft, but I think that I am too lazy, and I never use it. Lol!

Number 11:1
Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
Such a pretty color palette! I shopped the look and I couldn’t resist the sweater in snowy white. Great price plus an extra 20% off magically appeared! Love your style!
Darling outfit! Love your blog.
Such a cute outfit! Love the corduroys. How tall are you? I’m 5’4” and wonder if a petite would be better.
Ruth, I am 5’6″ tall.
These colors look so pretty on you. I too love corduroy When I was teaching school… we could not wear jeans except on Fridays. BUT we could wear corduroy. I had every color under the rainbow. So comfortable.
I love these colors too, and I also have a lot of corduroy pants. I love how they feel like jeans, but are more dressy.
Love your outfit and your sass! I wish I could wear some stylish boots now but we’ve been bombarded with a huge amount of snow. So my footwear is high top snowboots.
I love the Bible verses at the end of each days post!
I’m so glad that you like the verses. 😍
Just ordered this outfit! I think it will be so pretty for Thanksgiving.
You are right, Tracy! That outfit would look great for Thanksgiving!
We should all do our part by staying home as much as possible to protect ourselves and our loved ones. We are all in this together.
I stay home a LOT, and I am beginning to go stir-crazy. I can’t wait for all of this mess to be over with!!!
LOVE this sweater and have already put it in my shopping bag!!! This color is unique and would be one I could wear. I really like the Jack necklace too – so gorgeous!!! I don’t blame you for having your son do your errands, especially when he is going that way. LOL Have a great weekend!
The sweater is beautiful, and that Jack necklace is drop-dead GORGEOUS! I really love the different style chains that it has also.
Beautiful sweater and color combo! Tania, you always make me laugh!!! Caramel, caramel, caramel–now I’m thirsty! ; )
Haha! How many drinks did you take this morning? Lol!
Your outfit says FALL. I love it!
Love the coordinating color of the pants with the boots and would like to find a pair of pants like that without the corduroy.
I love this outfit a lot!
