My Favorite Swim and Beach Cover Ups

It never fails, every time I wear this cover-up someone stops me and asks me where I got it. I reach for it more than all of my other cover-ups, and I love the stunning swirl pattern! I’m wearing a large. I have also worn it unbuttoned over a camisole. Sizes are almost sold out in the white, but it comes in a stunning hot pink this season!

I love leopard print (are you surprised, haha!) and so this maxi-length leopard print cover-up basically put itself in my cart! This kimono comes in lots of different colors and prints, and I loved it so much that I ordered the solid black version, too. I love so many of the prints that it was hard for me to choose just one.

This striped kimono is super cute and kept me covered when I felt like my shoulders and arms were getting burnt. The drawstrings at the waist let you adjust the fit, and I love the oversized sleeves. While this tie-front kimono cover-up is no longer available in stripes, you can grab it in three different adorable prints for this season.

The white button-up cover-up (similar) looks great with all of the swimsuits for women over 50. This cover-up is so versatile that I’ll probably be reaching for it the most often. It won’t matter what color swimsuit I wear; this cover-up will look great. I love the 100% cotton lightweight fabric, especially since it won’t be hot this summer. I’m wearing a size large, and this is very generously sized.

Whether you’ve just swimming laps at the pool or you’re chasing your grandkids around the beach, this hooded cover-up from Speedo will keep you comfortable and protected from the harsh rays of the sun! I like that it has pockets and that it’s constructed using UPF 50+ fabric.

How stunning is this gold and white tunic? Now, this is a cover up I would wear straight from the pool to lunch! Plus, it’s wrinkle-resistant so you can pull it out of your beach bag and throw it on without worrying about it looking all crumpled up.

If you’re looking for a little extra coverage for your legs and bottom as you walk to and from the pool or beach, a pair of cover-up pants is a great option. The side slit keeps this pair cool and breezy, so you won’t get too hot in the summer sun!

Whether you’re lounging by the waves or heading to the hot tub, this cover-up wrap dress ensures you’ll look and feel fabulous wherever your summer adventures take you. I have some other swim pieces by this brand, and the quality is always great. I think wrap dresses are super flattering for almost everyone, and I thought the bold blue print was absolutely gorgeous!

I know a lot of cover-ups tend to run on the shorter side. If you are one of my faithful readers who hates showing off their legs, then this tiered maxi might be your new favorite cover-up! It’s from Land’s End, which, in my opinion, always has such a great selection of swimwear.

It’s hard for me to shop on Amazon sometimes purely because it’s hard for me to pick a single color or print, LOL! This super popular cover-up shirt comes in every color you can think of, from chic neutrals to bold and bright colors like this fluorescent green. If you don’t like fooling with buttons, this popover style top is a great alternative to a button-down cover-up shirt.
