I know it’s the time of the year when most of you are waiting impatiently for cooler weather and the changing of leaves! The end of the summer is the perfect time to start thinking about refreshing our wardrobes with the latest fall trends for 2024. Whether you’re dreaming of sipping pumpkin spice lattes, cozying up around a fire, or watching Friday night lights, today’s post has got you covered with the hottest styles that will have you looking fabulous all season long. From rich textures to bold colors, here are five must-watch fall fashion trends that will make your fall fashion game stronger!
Here Are 5 Fall Fashion Trends to Watch
Western/Fringe
Get ready to embrace your inner cowgirl because Western wear and fringe-inspired clothing are making a big comeback this fall! Think western boots, stylish suede jackets, and lots of fringe details that add a fun, dynamic touch to your outfits. Whether you’re pairing a fringe jacket with your favorite jeans or adding a pair of cowboy boots with a maxi dress, this trend is all about mixing rugged charm with modern sophistication.

Leopard
This timeless pattern is perfect for adding a touch of wild sophistication to any outfit. Whether you’re rocking a leopard coat, a pair of statement shoes, or a leopard handbag, this trend is all about making a fierce fashion statement.
I have a lot of animal print in my wardrobe, so I’m glad to see the return of this fun print! I treat leopard as a neutral, so it can be paired with lots of different colors, like the bright red sweater below!
I’m not going to lie—I love this leopard print caftan! I love it so much that I also have it in blue! It is comfy and perfect for wearing around the house instead of PJs. But I honestly think it looks exquisite when dressed up with jewelry, heels, and a nice clutch. Of course, you can also wear it on the beach as a swimsuit cover-up, so this thing is sweet!

Fur
This is another trend that we’ve seen come and go many times over the years. Fur adds a touch of elegance and warmth to any outfit. Think plush fur coats, stylish vests, and even fur-trimmed accessories that elevate your look with a chic, sophisticated vibe. I anticipate we will see a lot more of this as brands begin to release their fall and winter lines, but we will have to watch and see if my forecast is correct!

Feathers
This is one of those trends that I’m going to have to play with a little more to see how I feel about it!! I don’t know that I love feather on clothing, but I do have this feather clutch that is so fun to pull out from time to time. I paired my clutch with these machine-washable pants that have a removable feather trim, but they are sold out, so here is a similar looking pair!

Red/Burgundy
Wondering what colors to shop for this fall? We’ll touch more on that in some other posts, but one color family I’m seeing emerge for the last half of this year is red and burgundy. These vibrant hues are perfect for adding a pop of color to your outfits, whether through a statement jacket, a cozy sweater, or cute handbag. I love adding a pop of red to my outfits, even if it’s with a red lip or a red heel!

Tania, I would like to respond to you saying that you feel this teacher will have no idea why you have had success….at the risk of sounding “simple”, I think it’s easy! You honor and serve Jesus every day both in your heart and on your blog. You are His GURL and he loves you and honors your efforts.
It’s always good to try to learn and improve I suppose but I’m sure sorry you went through all of that! I think you’ll be just fine🙂
Glenda, I’ve always thought the same thing! 😉
Absolutely love the lipstick red sweater with the leopard skirt!
I love red lipstick~
My favorite color to wear is burgundy. I shy away from red. However, we have similar hair color and it looks wonderful on you.
I love that red is in! I have a great patent leather red Coach bag that I’m excited to use this fall! Also, not a huge fan of animal prints, but the leopard ballet flats are very fun.
I am not a fan of the western style, but to each her own. I love the leopard shirt and the skirt with the red. I think it is fun to pop a color with animal print. Good post.
Love the red sweater with the leopard skirt. I have a leopard skirt and now I’ll wear it with a red sweater. Always wore it with black. So many cute fall styles.
OMG I LOVE the leopard print skirt!!
I love the fall fashion trends you’ve shared in this post, especially the leopard trend! I wish Amazon offered trendy fashions in petite sizes. That leopard caftan caught my eye in a hot second. I would have to cut at least 8.5 inches off the bottom before it could be hemmed. Oh well, it’s fun to browse.
Love animal prints, always so classic! Love your animal print skirt with the red top. On another note, from experience, there’s always that “one” in the classroom/training session that just doesn’t get it. Don’t you hate it when that someone is you? 🤣🤣🤣 I know I do! 🤣🤣
🤣 I’m not used to be that one, so it killed me. 😭
Love the denim and the boots!
I guess I’m in trouble- I do not own any fringe, feathers, leopard, or fur and have no interest in buying any. Maybe something in red, but I have to have more of a cool red or burgundy.
When I saw the picture of you in caftan I thought you were standing in front of a casket. I had to take a couple of looks before I really knew it wasn’t.
That’s a first. Lol!
I love the leopard caftan. it looks so comfortable.
I really like the western look, being I live in Texas, ha! Also the red/burgundy colors are my very favorites. Thanks for these great choices.
I’m very happy to see the Western trend come back. I will get my western boots out of the closet and clean them up. Fringe, and red and burgundy are also favorites. Leopard print, yay!
Glad to see that leopard is back!
Like the western wear
I love the off should leopard top! I bought it when you posted it last year from Nordstrom! I’m so glad leopard is trending this fall, it’s my favorite too!!!
would you actually wear a faux fur leopard coat?
Yes, I have a faux fur leopard coat!
I love the caftan and the leopard coat.
Oh how glad I am to see animal prints coming back. Of course, I never stopped wearing them!
please except me, I love your post, I am 75 and I love clothes, bags, shoes, and jewelry, I have always been a fashion nut no matter my age, your post have helped me so much to know what’s in style, I look forward to seeing you and you’re clothes
Ruby
I discovered your site as I was looking for cruise apparel. I thank you. you make growing older with style look easy. I am 75 and was feeling a bit down. thanks for always raising my spirits
I’m so glad you you found my site and are enjoying it.
Bring on the leopard, love it!!
Good luck with the course! I am technically challenged, so I feel your pain. The two trends that I’m most excited about is the western flair and leopard print.
I love reds and burgundy, although I can wear only reds in a ‘winter’ palette. Most burgundies are great. I like some ‘western’ boots but not the rest of the trend. I cannot believe that anyone with a conscience can wear real fur. I thought we had moved way beyond this a decade ago.
The animal print skirt & red sweater combo is so pretty on you!
Tania,
You are way smarter than you realize. You are probably “drinking from a fire hydrant “ with the amount of information being given in your class. Just keep trying and it will “click” and you will be so glad you took the class.
The Greater One is in you and will help you!
He believes in you and so do I!!
Love the red and burgundy!
I love the caftan look. It is so comfy to wear around the house without looking like you have pj’s on. I’m also excited to see red! Fun color to wear. Good luck on your course.
Yay! Red is back. Since I wear red whether it’s “in” or not, it just means that I will be back in style. Feather?? Not so much. Looks like an interesting fall.
I love leopard and I love red, so both of those I can wholeheartedly embrace. I might add a touch of fur, but not too much as I don’t want to look like I escaped the local zoo! 🙂
I love your combo of leopard and red, by the way. I may have to do that myself!
You make everything look so cute!
I am so excited about the fall outfit posts!! I have that leopard skirt and wore it yesterday. LOVE it!!
Very interesting options. The red sweater and leopard print skirt are a perfect fancy date night outfit. The black dress and faux fur coat are red carpet ready!
have a great Tuesday!
Love Love everything Leopard!!!! The All Saints tote is awesome. just bought one in all black during the Nordstrom sale. Will have to keep this one on my radar. The J Crew factory flats are adorable. The red dress with the feather sleeves is stunning. I don’t care for the western trend. You look amazing in that fur animal print coat. Total Mob wife vibes.
I already have leopard clothes and accessories that I don’t need to buy anymore. I like red and fur. I’m not buying anything with feathers. Even though I am a native Texan I don’t wear western clothing so no fringe. It’s just not me. I do like it on other people.
I’m loving the the color red and burgundy for this season. Also the leopard prints. Yeah!! 😊
I’m excited about the leopard, red,and denim – my favorites!
I believe I will shop the western/fringe. I like to use denim in my outfits when the temperature cools.
My husband will love the red coming in the fall… I’ve always been hesitant in the past but I am getting better about wearing red. 🙂 Love all things fall!!!!
Cowboys, feathers, and fur…Oh my!
Love the feathers although not for me. Denim is always in.
So very happy that the leopard print is staying around ! I will enjoy the western look…being from Texas does it ever go out of style?
Definitely most excited about RED – my favorite color!
I love leopard! That’s my signature print, so it never goes out of style for me. I’m happy to see it back on the “trending” lists. Red is another winner!
I will always love the leopard print!
Yahoo! dusting off my boots! love the red flats!
Hi! While you certainly rock all those looks, I’m excited about wearing pops of red this fall…shoes, handbags, sweaters. I can’t wait for cooler weather!
Thanks for your inspiration, and good luck with your course. Hopefully, it will get easier. ❤️
I can do the leopard shoes with burgundy for sure!!!!!
I’m a huge leopard fan! The fur coat and the fur vest are beautiful
Love red and leopard! So glad to see it!
I’m going to have to step out of my comfort zone to wear fringe, feathers, fur and red but you look so good in all of them, I may have to try!😂
Woohoo! Bring on the cowgirl and leopard!! (Did they ever go OUT of style?) 😉
I like all of these trends except for the feathers and fur. My favorite color is red and l love leopard and the western look.
Well, these trends aren’t really trends for me. I have a closet full of most of these things…I live in that caftan! I definitely need it in a couple more colors! Happy Tuesday ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Tuesday! ❤️❤️❤️
Trust in God Amen.
I like all the trends
The feathers might be hard to pull off
But it’s worth trying
Love the leopard print items!
You look fabulous in all of this! Most people look like Muppets while wearing fur or feathers, but you pull it off!
The Western look is great. And I never thought of the leopard print as a neutral. Great idea!
The only photos I can see on this post are of the leopard caftan. Any reason why the others don’t appear for me?
How weird!
I think your website has a great search engine. I always find the post I’m looking for when I search. Love the fur- just still feels like cool weather is a long way off in Texas.
I love red and can’t wait to add more to my wardrobe. The rest of the trends aren’t for me but I did get a laugh out of imagining what my two cats would do with the fur, feathers and fringe!
I can relate to your feelings in the computer class! When someone starts trying to explain something about how to do x y and z on the computer, all I hear is buzzing.
I love leopard print! I’ve had to put a moratorium on buying anymore! The red trend is great. But the western wear just isn’t for me.
After weeks of 90 degree temperatures, love the fall looks
I’m glad animal prints are back in style! I have quite a bit I can pull out for the season. I also love red/burgundy. I have a fur coat I haven’t worn in many years. Not sure if I will. The other two trends are not for me.
Excited to see the western look back.
Thank you for sharing scripture each day. I also appreciate the modest styles that are trendy but still classic.
I was in a slump with my clothing. Wearing big baggy, ugly stuff.
Since finding you on line, I am in a much better spot. I have purchased some of your ideas and I am feeling more confident. I really enjoy your daily posts.
I’m so glad you are enjoying the blog and finding it helpful.
Love red and burgundy! No thanks on feathers….
I’m glad to see red come back — it’s my favorite. Also glad I picked up a leopard dress at a thrift store earlier this summer! Thanks for the excellent tips! The color pop outfit with pink and black is stunning on you!
I have to know. You have so many new outfits, where do you store them? Ha Ha Ha…
I am so thrilled animal print is coming back in style, I am already a head of the game. Thank you for your website. Your stories put a smile on my face every morning.
Kima, I have clothing in all the closets in my house. Plus, I have clothing in the basement where my office is.
I love leopard print… i wear it every fall and winter even when not trending because i think its classic especially when paired with black! Also love red and burgundy. Enjoy your day!
Red, leopard, and western! That tiered denim dress is so cute. I love red and leopard print. Just had to retire my leopard print tshirt and I was sad as I hadn’t found a replacement. Maybe now I can! I can’t wait for Fall weather. It’s my favorite time of year!
Thank you for always shopping beautiful classic yet trendy fashions. Love the western look, leopard, fur and red/burgundy for fall!!!
I’m excited about the red and burgundy trend. Nice pop of color
Wow ! Love your style … I am even looking fwd to fall now …many thanks for your upbeat posts and style !
I’m looking forward to it also!
Tania, you look fantastic in red.
Yeah! My favorite color is back, leopard! Love the pink top and black pants on you.
lol!
That faux fur coat looks hot! And yes, denim and fall go hand in hand!
I love all the leopard prints!
Thank you for tipping us off about the new trends. I am in a pickle, though, because I am not a fan of western wear, cowboy boots, feathers, or fur. I was hoping for a return of understated elegance and basic wardrobe styles with a modern twist. Oh well, maybe next year! You do look fabulous in everything you styled.
Nancy, there will be lots more trends coming out, these are just a few that have hit my radar.
Autumn is my favorite season🍁.
I am so ready for cooler weather. I never parted with many of my leopard printed pieces or accessories. Actually I still have a pair of leopard booties I purchased from Target years ago because you styled them on your blog Tania. I have many pieces I still kept because of how you styled them. I never parted with some of my faux fur pieces either. Keep up your hard work. I enjoy your affordable fashion, your humor, your genuine personality and most of all your Faith in God.
~Lisa~
I’m looking for a burgundy purse small hopefully at Walmart.
I already got a red blouse from Catos last year cute on sale.
Yesterday I got a black pair of dress slacks from Walmart not hot so finally yea! can look nice with everything 😍 I also got a frilly feminine blouse I couldn’t resist from Pioneer Woman. My husband said “WHY ARE U SOO DRESSED UP JUST TO GO TO THE GROCERY STORE ” lol
It’s fun to dress up and mix n match . A creative outlet for sure! Thanks for your help!!
I’m excited about red and burgundy for the season. Not do big on the fringe look. It’s so interesting how 80’s trends are circling around again.
Thanks for your daily inspirations. I look forward to your daily posts.
Fun to see and decide what might be best to wear for my style. I love red. Can’t wait to add more red. Feathers not so much. Made me laugh imagining me in them. Thank you for your hard work you do to bring us fashion daily.
Feathers just made me think of Eva Gabor on the old TV show Green Acres. She always had night gowns with feathers. Lol.
I like red and burgundy other than that these trends really are not me
I love leopard ♥️♥️♥️
Oh my….the only trend I can embrace is the RED. I love it. The fringe, feathers, fur and leopard do not exist in my closet(s). I am such a preppy nerd!!
Thanks for showing fall trends! I love love love the western look and leopard print everything, and half my wardrobe is red and burgundy. Feathers and fur…meh.
